Hm i think there is also truth to that, but feels like you can only lose that game. If you’ve been dumped you might have lingering feelings and are seen as weak, but if you dumped the girl she would think that you could do the same to her.

Whey someone asks who broke off the relationship, the person wants to know if it’s possible that you still have feelings for your ex. If you were the one that broke it off, this is more unlikely.

I would ask this to know if you have experience with longer relationships. People who hadn’t had a relationship for over a year are a turn off for me, because I would expect that their either don’t want a relationship or are not capable to have one for a longer time.
