female rights. What the fuck is this? Other than colloquialism where 'man' is used instead of 'person' in the U.S. constitution, it does not differentiate between male / female / trans whatever. all humans have basic human rights. you don't get anything special for having a vagina. fuck off. Seriously, what the fuck is this? support female rights and mens right Am I the only one who doesn't care if you are male, female, black white italian spanish chinese....you are a person and as a human you h…

You are a stupid twat. There is my response regarding your concern about emotional [sic] driven posts from men trying to act like they are offended over silly stuff simply because a woman would be. Take a hint you stupid fuck. Do you go to parties and interrupt conversations because they aren't talking about things you like to talk about? "hey hey hey stop this conversation. lets talk about ________" do you have any social skills whatsoever?

Its all good. You can fight it when you have tenure etc. If I were in your position though, I would have mentally checked out and looked for a job elsewhere while continuing to collect pay / be a good teacher / build your resume. I know that there is no "perfect environment" and sometimes you have to fight, but I am of the opinion that fighting and winning the good fight while raising a big stink about it is not worth it in the end.... I think of it like this....if an organization discriminated …

And when the women owned small businesses fail it will be 'The Mans" fault . These kinds of women are pathetic. They want to put in place a positive feedback cycle that will consistently reward them for being women and then claim all the success as their own in the end.

To my eyes, the most important insight of the article, and one that seems to have been overlooked in so much of the critical response, has been Slaughter’s highlighting of the harsh judgment heaped upon women who fail to do the impossible – who are unable to conjure extra hours out of thin air so as to constantly excel and pursue the highest jobs with unrelenting commitment, while simultaneously (or simply within the same lifetime, she stresses) raising the kind of family that requires one to be…

I have a question: Are women more prone to narcissism and attention whoring because of the X-chromosome? Sure seems that way.

Hey guys I will make a useless post about how things should change around here based on the 5 minutes I spent here, and then I will act like a pedantic dickwad when somebody bothers to respond to my post.

no its because of a pointless post from a harebrained author, on a stupid feminist site. i'm sure lydia mansel would describe herself as a "smart intelligent woman" because she can write 4 meandering paragraphs of bullshit... and there's your problem.

Downvoted because this fluff adds nothing to the conversation. Shine is not an authoritative source on anything. There is no evidence that any women that might read shine take any of that crap seriously. Even if some women took that crap seriously, again it adds nothing to the subreddit. There is a lot of stupid crap out there, and I don't actively go looking for it, in order to get angry.

You are a grown ass man and someone is telling you what you can and can't wear.... I feel bad for you. Also, its not discrimination if it doesn't affect your ability to find gainful employment, perform your job duties without harassment, and access opportunities for advancement in your career... A selective application of some mundane dress-code / policy....there are bigger fish to fry. Again I feel bad for you. But give it up.

Hey guys I'm new here. Ok so this is what I think we should do to change things around here. Go try that line when you start a new job next time. See how that goes. If you missed the point, well too bad. IMO, this sub-reddit exemplifies the reddiquette. Its a rare phenomenon. Enjoy your stay.

This bullshit is getting old. Any study based on self reporting of incomes is flawed. Fuck government workers.

We get it it Who is we? You'd be better off finding and posting actual articles of ridiculous female outrage over something that should have been a non-issue. You mean the fact that "feminists" exist even though gender parity in just about everything was achieved 10 years ago? Womyn outnumber men in colleges Womyn outnumber men in government jobs Womyn outnumber men in the education, health care, human resources jobs All of the above 3 combined actually mean womyn on average make more money than…

I am not sure what you're on about. My view of western culture/society: .1. There are a vast number of women who want to be good girlfriends / wives etc at least when they are young and are fishing....if women's magazines like Cosmo and other trash are to be believed.... Just go outside to a park sit somewhere and just watch people. Or...go to the front page of reddit. Everyday there will be some kid posting about the special thing his girl friend did for him, getting thousand of up-votes and "s…

The 19y/o is probably not able to support himself, As far as the state is concerned, he is an adult. Not a minor. If in some hypothetical universe I had a druggie kid i would throw them out of the house. The 17y/o is still legally a child For 6 more months at the most. Mum has stress of looking after 4 children and making ends meet. Shut the fuck up with your BS man. The oldest kid turned out to be a druggie. Yea she done a real good job raising children there. Apparently the bimbo used to be an…

You are absolutely 100% correct. My calculatons say the man would have 24k left over per year (if he paid 4k to this bitch). I think that is below the poverty line. 100k after tax comes to 73k. 4k * 12 = 48k. He can only claim the spousal support as tax deductions. 73 - 48 = 25k. He has to cover his living expenses, rent (cause bitch got the house), and save for retirement on 25k a year.

Thats not the point. The point is the poor execution of the propoganda by the writer of this article. One one hand the kid was excited to open a package from his dad....when it was dried crumbs and popcorn....he's says he doesn't care about presents and only wants his dad home. Mills’ son Steven was eager to open a package that had just arrived from the Philippines Steven’s face dropped and tears welled up in his eyes when he saw its contents: dried banana chips, cassava chips, caramel popcorn a…

Raising FOUR children is expensive. Let me guess. You didn't read the article. Two children. 19y/o druggie, and a 17y/o bimbo that will be legal next year. She can still work, right now, if she wants to. The 17y/o bimbo shown in the pic can take care of her siblings / get a job to pitch in etc. The couples 19y/o son is a druggie... The wife took out a 120,000+ mortgage on her mother's house to pay off the husband as part of the deal....so i'm sure the grandma can watch the kids. Even without lif…

No...thats not even the worst part. Eight months since he last heard from his dad, Mills’ son Steven was eager to open a package that had just arrived from the Philippines in advance of his 11th birthday. Steven’s face dropped and tears welled up in his eyes when he saw its contents: dried banana chips, cassava chips, caramel popcorn and salted peanuts. The kid was butthurt because he got some salted chips. Read the first line: Mills’ son Steven was eager to open a package that had just arrived …

This harpie got a local newspaper to print her sob story, in order to publicly shame the man.... as if he cares. Oh yea in the nutty place i live in called Toronto, the local paper will print any random sob story on the front page and set up a trust fund for donations. She got a 1.2million dollar lake front house, and custody of kids. A nutcase judge ordered the husband to cough up 4k a month on top of all that. Relevant quote from article: In subsequent court pleadings, Donna maintains she was …
