I do agree. I wear a scented deodorant (a lot of Adidas scents are nice, and AXE, in spite of its bad rep, makes very nice scents), and I feel like that is enough to give the little hint of scent that tells women 'wow, this guy grooms himself well'.

I would say that the most important thing is to differentiate yourself from other Asians, to prevent yourself being 'typecast' into a certain 'Asian type'. Right now, I see you as a very 'gangster' Asian that I would expect to roll with a pack of Asian bros and be heavily tattooed. Haha, I'm not that good, don't worry. I'm still in highschool! My old submissions were It is not about seducing one woman, it is about seducing all of them, and you do that by actually leading an awesome life. and 2. There is no 'real you' that you are hiding. You are defined by your actions. Just because I know the theory doesn't mean I can put it into action :) I'm still trying very hard to internalise those two concepts

The suggestion of Creed is not very practical. Most people cannot afford Creed. Here's my 'reasonably priced' cologne guide. They are popular scents, but there is a reason that they are popular scents. I told a guy he was a whiteknight, he told me that I was a loser nerd that would never get any girls because I didn't treat women as royalty and tried to sympathise with them like he did. Things escalated to the point where he ran to the Reddit admins.

It's the best thing ever, as long as you can ensure that neither of you want an actual relationship.
