As I watched the video I got increasingly skeptical about the whole thing. However, I a got curious to the real scientific research and real theories behind this subject. I'm thinking of picking up that book 'selfish gene'.

There is this book about MGTOW, by Paul Peter Wright & Paul Elam, called "Go Your Own Way: Understanding MGTOW". This book has received a large amount of criticism of the MGTOW community for both being written by non-MGTOW and for not accurately representing MGTOW. Aside from this, as pointed out by others, there are YouTube and Vimeo (and potentially other media sites) with channels dedicated in part or entirely for MGTOW. The videos produced by Sandman are usually disliked here as I have notic…

Keep in mind that it's not "the smaller the better". There's a minimum height and a maximum height for this, and same for weigh. It has to do with body mass, bone mass more than you think. At least more than it counts for mobility if that's what you're thinking.

All the survival reality shows the I've seen so far (even tho I think majority of it is scripted) seem to suggest that modern women are unable to do things on their own, organize themselves, and basically survive on their own; with rare and contrasting exceptions of course. Let's hope NASA picks these exceptional ones if they decide to go all women, since their screening process is very, very strict according to the video LOL.

as for being a one way trip thats pretty much true right now, but with the suggested lowering costs for space flight ahead, it could be possible that a fuel alternative source lowers the total payload of current launch and price and all. But again the only thing I see valid is the vision impairment. Everything else in this video is bs

lol true... i think the only valid point is vision impairment 'cause that has to do with pressure and gravity and all. I really don't think the food argument would make sense, considering his bogus plan, this has to be a 3 or 4 launch mission to be costly viable, not 1 launch. so the food argument goes down right here. The shielding, like he said, women suffers 2x as much from radiation, so if they're making shields targeting them, men will surely be safe from radiation. I really disagree when t…

I often thing about this. I would like to think I will be able to buy land somewhere up north, and 3d print a house with a large basement and a deck. The cost of a 3d printed concrete house is shockingly lower than conventional houses. I'd rather spend money on material to build my own place on unconventional ways than sign a $500k/plus mortgage for a micro-sized condo in the city when I'm 50. Until I get there, my plan is to move to a smaller place, get rid of half my shit and live minimal; I'm…

I sympathize with this so fucking much. I work with programming, so it's pretty much just guys. One of the Project Owners used to be a chick, but our team lead and our scrum master have made clear she doesn't know or care about how to write user stories (we spend a long time estimating features because there's barely any description or acceptance criteria; sometimes we simple send them back to backlog). Recently a new guy joined in her position :D The guy is experienced and knows how to handle t…

I agree with most of what's been said in the article. However, I think MGTOW is not for everybody, and it seems like there's a ton of ppl who don't understand what MGTOW is, but want to belong, and starts using the LABEL, but not living by it.

This piece of trash that they posted on huffeministon post is absolutely inacurate when it talks about MGTOW. That pseudo-stylist-specialized-in-men-image blogger has no idea what she's talking about.

I think it would be cool if he had a channel that he talked like a person. Listening to his interview and also he talked about it in one of his older videos, about the "sandman persona" he puts on the channel. I also think a 2nd channel would be nice

Although I agree that basic hygiene products being tax free could be a good thing and benefit everybody in the process, I fail to understand how tampons being taxed is somehow considered "gender-based discrimination". As far as I understand it's taxed other products. And if there's anyone who can explain how exactly this qualifies as "discrimination", then please do.

A better question is, how is this shit: I think this guy in my apartment building/house is MGTOW. I think that is really sad. Let me ask you MGTOWS how can I convert him? I really want to help him, because he is good looking, smart, and he has a good job. Not hilarious?

The thing about Brazil is that we have the mastered jeitinho brasileiro and Gérson's law and the so called Malandragem has been praised for years within brazilian culture. It is what it is. There's a reason I don't want to live there anymore :/

Bro. I think you should take this opportunity and get close to your grandpa. He can tell stuff that's worth gold. He has much more experience in life than most of us put together, AND he's got nothing left to lose, so to speak, so he could tell you many things you haven't event considered. Be a friend, listen and share with him and learn from him. It's not gonna hurt. I wish I had this opportunity now, but sadly I can't bring mine to the world of the living. As for advices, try to learn who you …

I have missed this thread before. I was born in Rio, but currently living in Canada. I have been the "last to know", sadly, a coupe of times, by brazilian girls, which I have been engaged to (obviously in two different lengthily separated occasions. And obviously I didn't learn the 1st time, so i had to do it again :) ). What I have noticed is that 'monkey-branching' in Brazil or with Brazilian people (not just girls, I was kind of ostracized a little during high school for not taking every poss…

I'm with you guys in the sense that I think this ad is kind of painting all men as abusers, but I really don't know how else it could be done, considering Ontario, and considering the budget was specifically set for a anti-sex-abuse type of campaign. Plus, this same narrative have been told and re-told for long enough and since been imprinted into people's minds. They've just made an ad to reinforce it. If I was to write an ad for this campaign I would absolutely have a different approach, but h…

it's kind of funny that she got criticism from a portion of feminist for "portraying women in a bad light" while the other half has found the main female character to be some kind of "heroine" of sorts because it "empowers women" Related: http://cs540104.vk.me/c540106/v540106319/413d3/HDvRqlcfRiE.jpg

they tried this in my country.. the classes start with a bunch of women in the first semester (around 40%). By graduation time, 2 females graduated on that program. One of which was dating one of the teachers. I still have contact with both of them and they do nothing related to tech today. Same happened in Computer Science, except that was only 1 female that graduated.
