I don’t mean to make light of your situation, because i totally get the dehumanizing part of what you are feeling and that you want to be wanted… but damn… i don’t think I could ever say that title about myself with a straight face. Women are more likely to go “dear god what is that thing” to the sound of children screaming.

https://www.npr.org/2022/09/08/1121610336/uk-liz-truss-diverse-cabinet “most diverse cabinet ever”…. by removing all the white males. I’m not going to comment on the qualifications of the people there. I’m sure they are great. But it rubs real bad when diversity is celebrated when an entire demographic has been REMOVED.

It’s not talked about cuz your country was invaded, and they need everyone able bodied on the lines fighting. Did you not see what the Russians did to your countrymen and women in the occupied areas of Kiev? Did you not see the mutilated bodies? Did you not see how your women were raped, men tortured? Either you are some kind of russian troll trying to sap sympathy for Ukraine, or you are a pathetic shell of a man. Get out there and defend your country!

I’m sorry folks. I’m going to be a dissenter and perhaps get voted down here… but this thread to me is really distasteful. I watch this sub because I very much believe that mens rights and issues should be taken as seriously as women’s rights and issues. But celebrating dodging military service is distasteful. Yeah, only men get put into selective service for the draft. But if my country (USA) were to be existentially attacked, I’d be proud to serve, and I would have no issue with women not bein…

bad. We this shouldn’t even be a question. You start talking about banning or at least term limiting alimony, now we’d be talking. But child support is there for a reason, and I have little sympathy for people who have sex, end up having a kid, and then don’t support the kid.

Glad this was posted. As much as I can agree often that men can get the shaft and people don’t even recognize it, none of that makes what happened today OK.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
