He wasn't even attempting to hit her. He was doing everything he could to escape a group of people intent on doing him and his girlfriend harm.

I have to disagree with you there. As someone that doesn't want children, it's definitely a major red flag, but only because I don't want kids. I think that whether or not you want kids is one of those polarizing topics that needs to be discussed if you plan to date someone. That's up there with religion and marriage.

Hey. The no kids thing works for me.

You're basing that on what? Initially I was basing it on my experience with women in the military. In my experience women simply cannot handle stress as well as men. The female soldiers I worked with were all in basic training since I was combat arms, but the females gave up quicker, broke down easier and required more emotional support than the males. This is the best and most relevant study I could find on the subject. I'd be happy to see studies that contradict it. No, we should just have 1 o…

I think it's pretty fucked up that you support killing people in their home countries I no longer agree with the Iraq and Afghan wars. I was 18 when I joined. As for being inherently wrong to kill people in their home country, how naive are you? You really can't think of a reason you would have to do that? and are inherently sexist Facts aren't sexist. Men are larger, stronger, faster and have better endurance than women. Life's not fair. Calling me sexist for saying that would be like calling m…

If you decide to help that person out, then that's on you, not on your gender, or who you're sexually attracted to. If your friend went down, I'm sure you would do the exact same thing, not because you're in love with them, but because that's basic human nature. You're right. It's the person that stops firing to help a friend that's at fault. What's your point? What you're saying, is that because someone is sexually attracted to someone else, they shouldn't be in the same MOS. That's like saying…

We aren't talking about volunteering to murder people like you do. I thankfully never had to kill anyone, but that's a fucked up thing to say. I agree that if we have a draft it should be equal. All I'm saying is that combat arms units should be segregated into male and female units.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/02/16 01:38 AM

Well, then that sounds like it's the men who are being ineffective I never claimed that the men weren't the main issue in the scenario. On that same note, do you honestly think that women are going to be better at handling watching their boyfriend or husband go down? I'd argue they'd probably handle it worse emotionally. I hate that reasoning for not allowing women into combat roles Where do you see me say that women shouldn't be allowed in combat roles. What I said was they should be segregated…

Former Army Field Artillery E-5 Sgt by the way. And yes, I've been shot at. Let me tell you why it can cause a problem. If you're attacked and your buddy goes down. What are you supposed to do? Counter-intuitively, you don't help them, at least not until the threat is neutralized. When do you think that's going to be harder to actually do; When you're friend goes down, or when your lover goes down? Both are difficult, but you're almost definitely going to try to help your girlfriend/wife(I proba…

Are you saying you've never noticed serious drama arise from that? It's not as big of a problem in the office as it is when you're being shot at.

Antifreeze tastes sweet. They should have been doing that all along. It's to keep kids/animals from drinking it accidentally.
/r/PussyPassDenied28/01/16 09:59 AM

That's probably true, but that doesn't make this an unfair sentence, it just means men are getting too harsh of a sentence.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/10/15 11:33 PM

If she actually spends that time in jail then i think that's more than a fair sentence. She raped this kid, but lets get some perspective. He was only one year away from the age of consent in a lot of places. Yes, he was underage and yes she was in a position of authority, but I think that 5 years would be more than fair. And before people start jumping on this bandwagon, yes I'd say the same for a high school teacher having sex with a female student as well. It was wrong, but I think the punish…

Agreed. These weren't white knights. White knights would have attacked him regardless of if he continued his assault. These guys were just going to make sure nobody died.

If this were me I'd fight for sole custody then give the kid up for adoption(preferably to a family in another country) at the first opportunity.

He's clearly talking about her violent reaction. It's just a saying, no reason to get your panties in a bunch.

I think you'll find that most Christians disagree with his interpretation. Source: Ex-Christian raised Baptist, father is an ordained minister with a PhD in Christian teaching and believes in the virgin birth.

Once a woman gets pregnant, she has the right to abort the fetus. This essentially gives her the ability to prevent the burden of a child before it happens. If the mother has the right and ability to abort the child, then the father should have the right to say he either wants her to get an abortion/give the child up for adoption, or give up all rights and responsibilities to the child to be. This would basically give the male abortion rights, without forcing the mother to do so. If the mother d…

From what I can gather, she punched him in the face before the camera started rolling. She then says something to the effect of "I'll do it again." That is when he leans down and gives her a clean shot. After she hits him for the second time he throws a really weak punch to teach her a lesson about hitting people. She should count herself lucky, someone is going to lay her out one day.

This might be unpopular on this subreddit, but I don't think a guy would have gotten sexual harassment charges from this very easily either. I've seen very similar "pranks" done by guys, and the girls usually just laugh or look uncomfortable as they walk away.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
