My question, when the cops knew she was lying when they found no evidence of the alley story, why did they believe the second story? Or was it just procedure? She is scum for what she did to him. Hopefully now that her name is out there, other people will stay away from her.

You didn't need the threat of violence, you used the threat of removing the child to another state.Maybe she doesn't have transport, maybe she wouldn't be able to get time off work. And really? There's no law against you taking the child across state lines against the wishes of the mother? You are a nasty piece of work. The worst part is believing that you've done nothing wrong.
