I was referring more about the context of the article when the wife decided it was ok to gain massive amounts of weight in a short time. We all age, that's a given, but completely neglecting your appearance is not the same as growing old naturally.

I think you're doing a good thing by starting this reddit category, but misogyny is just counter-productive and this becomes "revenge against women", instead of equality, which is a topic you just posted yourself.

A lot of these items have to do with societal or cultural norms and the validity of those points can certainly be debated. However there are some good points that reflect the legal bias against men, particularly in the divorce and criminal courts. There's a lot of fairly unknown statistics that clearly favor women, but I won't get into that here.

Yes and no. This is a unique and isolated event, but you also have to notice the pattern of discrimination against men when it comes to marital law. A large reason things like this happen is because women in large do not face the same legal consequences men do.
