| 46 | Again. Single dads will use younger women for childcare.Lawd this resonates so much for me. I was the 22 year old dating a 33 year old widow with a special needs 3 year old. Took five years for me to leave that abusive relationship and was verbally abused by that very angry kid too. Then it was 3 years of therapy to unwind for the gaslighting and trauma bonding. I lost a lot of friends who felt like I abandoned the kid or “gave up” too soon but I’m thankful for the strength I found to leave.
