A similar thing happened to me. I met this girl some time ago and we decided to take a vacation. I booked the flights and the hotel. Paid for everything. No problem. I was really excited to show her around as she has never seen this town before. Once we arrived - one of the first things I hear is: "I think I would be happier alone" I left her alone for the rest of the vacation and stopped talking to her. All she did was cry.
