That's not true. I share my day-to-day, nearly daily, with not one but two of my closest guy friends. My wife doesn't even live in the same country as me currently and I've successfully offset that (easily) with my friends. The partnership with a woman is nice but not a companionship irreplaceable with something else. To think it is as such is just to look at it over-optimistically.

I just read through the three posts you linked first and I gotta say, I wish we had more like you in /r/PurplePillDebate. This quote is gold because the biggest issue is that many have the wrong idea of TRP supposedly is or is not. TRP isn't about being an asshole or controlling to our wives. It is about having frame so we control ourselves and have vision about what is REALLY important to us. From that, wives feel safer and happier with us, and then, they are inspired to make us happier as well…

Do you write for a living? You should consider it if not. This is extremely well-written. Maybe it's just compared to the oft-atrocious writing style I see here but I'm not really inclined to believe so. All the better that the content is extremely spot on. Thanks for sharing!

Leaving during events is a surefire way to demonstrate that life can go in without her, if need be. Yes -- My wife kinda reminds me of yours, honestly, crazy/hysterical, seriously emotionally needy, and everything else. Before I ever discovered TRP or any of this theory, walking out was the beginning of me realizing how to control the situation.

Civilization seems to have fared OK under religious tomes advocating much worse (e.g stoning women for not screaming loud enough during rape) with exponentially more followers. That's a lofty analogy and this isn't a religion but you probably wouldn't judge every one of their followers based on those books, even though they decidedly ignore the "nasty bits" in their practice. It's up to the individuals to do what they will with what they read, especially drivel like that and no one with an ounce…

I didn't say you weren't opposed on logical grounds. I said if I was opposed on logical grounds, which was not to be read as, "contrary to what you think." It's not fundamentally an extremist ideology. However, I will largely agree that the mantles of preacher and follower have been taken up by a lot of immature people, especially on the internet where they are hyper-visible. I've only cringe reading a lot of posts on TRP because of how visible they've now made their immaturity. We have this sub…

You sound like an angry dog, foaming at the mouth at some injustice within TRP that doesn't even exist. If I was opposed to TRP on logical grounds, I would embarrassed to have you speak for me. This is a place for debate, not fuckery. Why not just stay in /r/TheBluePill?

You can also very factually disprove your own anecdote with fairly-commonly thrown around statistics about sexual activity in long-term relationships. The fact that it's essentially a meme, joked about among men, that you virtually stop having sex after marriage speaks to the notion that most men likely simply don't understand that there are other ways of going about their lives/relationships and just take what they're given at face value. Granted, there are probably men and women who do underst…

I have not seen a single person (non-marginal) advocate that nor have I seen anyone here post in favor of anything like that, as that's not at all what TRP is about. If you think that, I think you need to spend some more time familiarizing yourself with the fundamentals, if only just to make sure you're not fighting something that doesn't even exist.

Not disagreeing with you on that. That's part of the reason I separated Plate Theory in my above post -- depending on whether or not you apply the "virtuous man" attributes to TRP in your own beliefs, Plate Theory's effectiveness and potential gain towards the stated goal(s) can be called into question. PT reads like a bad excuse to fuck with reckless abandon despite having a pretty solid deductive reasoning ("spin as many women as possible to make sure you're getting the best of the best," esse…

This has actually happened to me. I took punches, scratches, slaps, and even inanimate objects to the head without ever touching her, with the exception of keeping her from hitting me further. The result? The police were called and I was asked to leave the apartment, which I agreed to do despite it being under my name. Suffice to say that was the end to that relationship. Earlier in my marriage, my wife physically assaulted me with our newborn in my arms. That was a little insane, as I was serio…

If you had bothered to check the article before posting... http://www.hawaii.edu/hivandaids/Gender_and_Erotic_Plasticity__Sociocultural_Influences_on_the_Sex_Drive.pdf You can use that as a platform to further studies about the female sexual plasticity, which the author talks about.

As TRP is made up of multiple theoretical ideas (like feminism), it's worth separating Plate Theory from the rest of TRP in this case. This is an important distinction because Plate Theory is arguably the most controversial of TRP "foundations" (if you consider it to be one). And just as feminism is adopted to varying degrees, as is TRP. Anywho, what about the women who don't have a choice in tolerating being plated, i.e. the ones that aren't even aware of it? From what I understand anecdotally,…

Actually, anecdotes are the only thing useful in proving something such a as claim that states RP only works on "damaged" or "damage-able" women. You'd be really hard-pressed to back up that claim with statistics (this is a cursory guess at best, if you find something, do share). In response to that study, reading any of the introductory material to TRP will tell you that, if you are not interested in a long-term relationship and a woman is coming at you to increase your (or both of your) invest…

This behavior can likely be adjusted using TRP honestly. If not, you maybe just shouldn't be married with that person. The guys in marriedredpill seem to have success with it.

Nice find! Just happened today. It's still illegal but no more jail time -- great. The government should honestly stay out of sexual affairs until it begins to infringe other laws.

Makes a lot of sense to me. You have many other things now to occupy your mind. You're not bored, sitting around with loads of time to jerk off or fuck or think about jerking off or fucking. RP is about being a better man. I think your experiences mirror that precisely.

Spot on. Do you live in Korea? I didn't see your post but hit on many of the same points in mine on this thread. What you said about the mistresses is funny because it's true, but also keep in mind that in Korea, adultery is illegal, and a good way to completely fuck yourself if you have an unhappy wife.

Korea: Be careful. It is astoundingly easy to get your fill as a very high majority of Korean men are at the very, very end of the BP spectrum due to the cruddy TV drama/pop culture going on that has eviscerated male masculinity for most of the country's male citizens. Korean girls can usually be split into two camps (material, plastic surgery, drama-like) and the rest (actually interesting, funny, normal). Both are clever, so don't be fooled by their illusions of innocence and playfulness, and …

I came to say I agree with your sentiment but your approach was not smart (quote + "Fucking idiot"? Really?) Women make great teachers for most grades but for post-secondary, I had much higher quality male teachers.

This is great advice. Quit that shit cold turkey. It will suck in the beginning but nothing takes that long to get over, especially if you're focusing on improving yourself.

You should probably clarify that this is not the Boy Scouts, but some other scouting organization.

Why was all that action taken before they even checked the CCTV footage or verified witnesses/friends? That's some bullshit. This is a major issue. Without undeniable evidence and/or a trial by jury, these men should be protected under the law, rapists or not.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
