Well, yes, you would need to have some type of feature they find attractive, but women are often willing to overlook an imperfect physique if other attributes make up for it. Like a confident, funny guy with a nice haircut and pretty eyes, even if he is a bit chubby, so in this case, being nice would help that person' chances as long as there is some base level of attraction. Attraction is hard to quantify because it means something different for everyone and in different contexts like whether s…

You bring up an interesting point. It may be best to look at what women want specifically from the opposite sex in order to feel satisfied, which is largely, and I am generalizing here, to feel desired and/or loved by someone they consider an ideal partner. Maybe it's not just literotica, but romance movies or books with unrealistic ideals in general that would be an equivalent?

I don't have the resources or background knowledge myself to know whether that is true or not, but if it is, then the 10% geared towards women is very popular. We could probably go ahead and throw in R-rated romance movies into that mix because they still give an unrealistic expectation for perfect men that are also perfect sexual partners. And also fanfiction, because tons of women LOVE reading and writing it, and many aren't written by experienced authors that construct realistic characters wi…

You have a point. More effort is not necessarily going to get you a better outcome with every woman if she isn't interested to begin with, but it is definitely going to improve the outcome with women that are open to giving you a chance. If less effort worked, it's because she was already a yes from the start and was looking for what you were offering. More effort only matters if a women is undecided, which is probably the scenario most women are referring to when they say to put more effort in.

I mean, sure, to some people. But not to everyone.

Recommend therapy to fix his self-defeating attitude, and probably look inward to see if my relationship with him, attitude towards other women, or lessons I've tried to teach him about socializing, self-care, hygiene, work ethic, communication, respect, empathy, confidence, and the female experience have assisted in this defeatist view.

I think it is much more of a difference in how we communicate our interests than a matter of men not being interesting. Many men are interesting. That doesn't make them all interesting to talk to. It depends on how easily (and neutrally) you can talk about your interests with another person without undermining or passing judgement on their different interests.

Sexual needs are important for women too, and its important that both partners have the ability to have sexual needs met. I would expect him to come to a compromise and find a solution where each of our needs are met. If he was unwilling to compromise for my needs, that is a bigger issue entirely that needs to be addressed.

You have a great point. I come from a copywriting background so I have seen it. Before big data, marketing was outbound, casting a wide net and hoping someone would see it. We were bombarded with ads daily, but most of them weren't relevant. The industry has changed so now everything is targeted, and the most ruthless companies target "pain points" and insecurities more than anything. The purpose of marketing is to make you unhappy with what you currently have. In the past, when most ads weren't…

I think a better comparison would be a more neutral take: social media is to social needs as porn is to sexual needs. If we want to do more of a male vs female comparisons, I would say erotic literature is probably closer, though maybe not as popular. Women tend to be more mentally stimulated than visually. Comparisons: Both are dopamine hits. Literotica can definitely make a partner feel insecure if the woman is idolizing the male lead more than her partner. Literotica can make women feel insec…

If you want her to respond, say something interesting that she will want to respond to. If it bothers you enough that you don't want to try harder, just accept the results you get.

Of course success is completely random. Different women are looking for different things. When you fail, it's because a woman wasn't looking for what you were offering. Try again with someone else.

Its the photos that determine whether or not she will give someone an opportunity, but it's the opening message that determines whether or not she will respond.

Personally, I think that, ever since the internet became the main way to socialize, we have built a world where it is much more difficult to go out and meet people organically, and people with deep social anxiety will usually choose the easiest option and continue to socialize online instead. The problem with this is that dating online is really hard. In person, when you meet someone for the first time, it's usually at a low-pressure social event, and you get a lot more information about whether…

I would say both are immoral. Shitty people are going to do it but it's still immoral.

One that doesn't need to repress her feminine OR masculine traits in order to approve of and respect herself by the end of her character development arc.

Depends on whether you want to practice your sex skills or your seduction skills. If it' just sex yeah, that' probably a good way to do it. For seduction, it takes more to seduce a woman that is confident in her attractiveness than a woman who isn't, so you will have to practice on the same caliber of woman you are reaching for. Try approaching the women you are attracted to with the expectation that you will fail, but you will gain valuable data on what works and what doesn't. After each encoun…

There are a lot of things women want and "being nice" to them is just one of those factors. Many men often make the mistake of being "nice" or being "rich" or "strong" and only focusing on one area but neglecting other factors. Different women look for different things. We all want a combination of attractive qualities because we like multi-faceted people. Some women want nice, tall, emotionally-intelligent partners. Some want rich, confident, short guys. So yes, being nice, if that is all you a…

Because they are annoying or whiny or otherwise not fun to be around. Honestly? Just be fun to spend time with. Have a sense of humor and a personality. Don't say a bunch of controversial shit for shock value. Be playful and not overly emotionally taxing or whiny. If you are fun and relaxed and easy to be around, women will want you. Women will overlook and put up with quite a bit, but the one thing no woman will want to tolerate is someone who is annoying.

Easy. Because a victim complex is unnattractive and annoying. Women are annoyed by misogynists, but the confident ones are usually good at rough, impersonal one night stands. Guy doesn't respect me? Cool. I feel no guilt using his body for my own pleasure, and I'm sure he doesn't feel guilty using mine so let's fuck and never call each other. When it comes to incels, they usually have such a victim complex and are much whinier. They are also usually pretty insecure, and don't seem like much fun …

Late to this but I think the problem is with the conclusion that was drawn because it ignores context. In the context of this study, women evaluated torsos and rated their attractiveness. The results weren't surprising. There are many attractive qualities about fit men that aren't just aesthetics: 1.) Someone with a better build demonstrates an ongoing, habitual commitment to self-improvement, because you can't look like that if you give up on yourself. 2.) Better physique is a sign of a healthi…
