Not so much, I think. Unless you have a knife or are directly hitting them, the police in Belgium is quite soft. This is a drunk Spaniard in a van being a dick. There you can have a feeling of how harsh the situation could be.

That number 10, dammit. Only that one is enough to convince me about not doing dating single mothers. I'm sure I'll miss the kids. That's the way I'm, I cannot help it.

I completely agree. They can put more women on film if they want, at the end we will watch what we want. For instance, Kill Bill has a bunch of strong women, with katanas, on it, and in my opinion is a good movie.

Just this sentence: Of course, there are male mentors. However, there is something special about having a woman as a guide. Can you imagine if someone writes something like: "Of course, there are female mentors. However, there is something special about having a man as guide. Damn, the shit will hit the fan in matter of seconds.

I think that the situation with the laws now is a mix between old and new laws. There's a complete state secretary, "Ministerio de Igualdad", dedicated to feminism and that crap, but is more related with the abnormal amount of bureaucracy in Spain. In general Judges, and the judicial system in general, are not biased in favor of Women. Disclaimer: I'm talking from personal experiences, I don't have data to support this. Yep, the government figures in this are too fucked up to being taken into ac…

I'm living in Spain, and I can tell you that we don't have that specific problem over here. This advice is specially useful for guys who are single who want to avoid the "Oh, It seems like I'm pregnant" trap.

This is why I'm in favor of the vasectomy plus storing sperm combo. In that case you'll certainly know that the baby is yours and it will come at the time that you desire. Period.

...top schools that offered me full scholarships. i'm talking Oxford, Hardvard, Yale... Yeah, sure, Oxford and Harvard both noticed you. Didn't the MIT show up at your house with a suitcase full of money?

Sure, musicians run the risk of poverty, but the reward of monetary and emotional success outweigh that risk. Man, did you understood the original post at all? Your college major should be based on what is going to give you job security, not on what feels good or seems interesting. If your major isn't based on a sober appraisal of supply and demand in the job market, get a new major. Now. Just like med school, music is a long-term commitment. With the difference that in music your chances are mu…

the outcome relies solely on the individual's talent and motivation. That's simply, plainly wrong. ...art careers are no different than any other high salary careers in that the artist has to work hard for years similiarly a med student has to work hard for years... Wrong. The outputs are different. Do the math, seriously, how many musicians make more than $100 per year? How many physicians make more than $100K per year? Remember, numbers are everything, anecdotic experiences is that, an anecdot…

Success, for me and in this context, will be doing enough money to support yourself. I'm not saying that it impossible to live from music, I'm saying that it is a very good example of a field with huge disparities in income. Just do the math, number of musicians that can live completely on their music over total number of musicians that at some point tried/want to do it. You'll see what I'm talking about. No, I'm not saying that you're not special, but for sure not everybody can be special, it d…

...most people who are pursuing something like an art, are really shitty at what they do, have awful taste, no business sense, and they have no idea how shitty they are. This has to be remarked more often. People is not good as they believe. When someone sucks at something, and are trying to make a life from it, the best thing to do is letting them know.

The problem there would be then, how good you are? People is not good at judging their abilities (everybody days that they drive better than average, for christsake). A musician can be content living under the poverty line while working on his masterpiece because he knows he will get a fat paycheck when the work is complete. Lol. Come on, be realistic, which is the rate of success for musicians? It is a game of the winner takes everything, and a very biased by randomness.

That's why he is asking for an 8/10, because 9/10-10/10 are normally not quite good in other aspects of life.

If you're thinking of being a father at old age you should think about froze your sperm. Every year the quality of the sperm diminish because in its replication it have error every time. There's an inverse relationship between paternal age and IQ in the offspring. So, froze that juice now, go for the vasectomy and when you think it is time, just go for the in vitro procedure.

For me, the main message of the article is that a girl will not accept someone who has much less, or more, education that she has. Maybe they want someone with a status, but they don't want to be outsmarted neither.
