Although this article points out things that we already know, it's still a nice reminder that we are allowed to feel what we feel. I think there are a lot of men out there that are only one step away from getting everything that they want and more and all they need to do is assert themselves. I feel this is the way I am and I know I can't be the only one.

The best possible way is just shaking it off and reminding yourself that it's her loss. Not exactly twitter worthy or somethin g you have to state to the public, you just continue being awesome and eventually you won't have to say anything for people to know that it's their loss. I think the real criticism is that he's kind of a public figure giving us every detail of his night which just shows that it's really affecting him in a negative manner.

I think that both of you have very valid points. I tend to agree more with /u/bluepmaknight on moving on but that's just my style and it suits my strengths better. A few friends of me take your approach as well and have great success, I think it just requires a certain set of strengths

You're in college, it's a different world. Popularity gets thrown out the window and you will meet a ton of new people throughout your years there. Unless you're like a star athlete for your school, nobody is going to know your presence right out the gate. As a freshman, just get involved in a frat or other organization, go to parties, continue meeting people. You'll have friends in no time and the women just come with the territory.

Sounds like a good way to keep her flirting with you. She's only going to try harder since you're responding half heartedly since she's getting mixed signals. Since she obviously likes you, she's justifying it as you just being shy/nervous which might even make her more giddy about it. I understand that you don't want to hurt her feelings but you're actually sparing her feelings if you let her off now rather than later. Just let her know you don't see her in a sexual way and if you want to be fr…

Lots of women WONT like you. Hell, just accept it now. Lots of women WILL like you. Hell, just accept it now. Have a plan but understand that nothing goes according to plan. It's about being flexible and confident in your decision making. Women are extremely flaky. Put a reasonable effort into scheduling something and if it doesn't happen, move on.

What I gathered is: "put in 100% of the work because this date is for me, not for you". I suddenly became flaccid, I wonder why.

Do you really feel like she missed the opportunity or did you do it out of spite? I've done this once out of spite and then quickly realized that I completely missed MY opportunity. Of course I was only 19 at the time but hey, you live and you learn right?

Gotcha brother, just wanted to make sure that you didn't actually take up the opportunity because you definitely know it's there! It's tough for something you can't control, especially for those quality women who are well aware of the stigma and make assumptions. If This kind of stigma is fixable, it's something that more than likely won't be resolved in our generation and you'll have to live with it for your entire lifetime. I don't have any good advice on this other than looking for someone wh…

It sounds odd because you haven't experienced it more than likely. I have periods of time when I get tons of easy hookups and after awhile, you start to notice the patterns and learn why these women are going for you. Easy sex is nice when you're not getting it all the time but just like anything, have enough of it you start seeking something of better quality. That's why you develop standards and become harder to get, quality over quantity. If you have both quality and quantity, you're living t…

So these girls are treating you like a novelty or a sex object? Do what women do, raise your standards. I don't know if you're actually sleeping with these women but if you are, you're simply giving them an ego boost that says "I have a vagina, I hold all of the power" because they didn't even have to work for it. Just like women, you always have the option to say no.

The problem you're having is the amount of time you've known her. Seduction is most effective in the short term where you can immediately build rapport and tension, that way she understands you are interested in her in a sexual way. What seduction means by giving her value is whether you are outcome dependent or outcome independent. You can still be acquaintances with her but in your mind, move on past her and talk to other women. Not just talk to women, become interested in other women. She wil…

To those that think this is creepy, maybe it just doesn't suit you? It's just a simple, cheesy game to get rid of anxiety. It's not meant to get you numbers and f-closes, that's not the point of the post.

It's pretty safe to say that these girls are into you when they say that, you should immediately start escalating, you're pretty much in bro! It's one of the easiest shit tests to pass out there but I feel every shit test has one common theme, a tone and non-verbals. She'll say it and either smile, look away, withdraw, or all of the above. My experience has been all of the above. They withdraw and I immediately press on and be open to whatever is on their mind. It's almost always something along…

My biggest question would be are you forming a real connection with these women? You closed these women and everything but are you doing what you WANT to do or are you following guidelines? Once you get to this point you probably want to put your own twist on pickup, make things more interesting than conventional "Hey, I think you're cute, want to go out for drinks sometime?". What kind of situation can you put yourself in that allows you to grow as a person? If you want challenge, practice day …

THIS. The problem I get is that my wingman tries to overcompensate and propel me through. NO NO NO NO NO, it's up to ME to do that, you're actually making it worse by talking me up like that. People think it's common sense bullet points but people also overcomplicate things that are seemingly simple!

Just try to set up a date if you've already met her. If she says yes, great. No, no worries. Just make sure you're still moving forward and meeting more women.

Hey man, we all live and learn. It's funny because that "white knight syndrome" is just a sign that in the past you put your ego ahead of everything else, which most of us do. Freeing yourself from your ego is IMO the most important step to both success and happiness, FAR easier said than done though.

I feel that many women are well aware when someone is faking confidence and when someone is truly confident. In a woman's perspective, as I am only speculating, I could see fake confidence as an attraction builder and driving a curiosity to find out what you're all about. It is worthy to consider as they are aware that the man is at least trying and is on the right path. Think about someone you've met that is truly confident in themselves. It's a completely different aura. You are drawn in to th…

I feel like confidence isn't something that you intentionally exhibit. The reason you fake confidence is to become confident and with confidence comes change. I believe confidence to be a life-style, a journey to explore the limitless possibilities and connect with like-minded people. If you stop and think about connection with people, it usually takes only one thing in common to establish that connection. Confidence is something you live and you breathe and is the reason you're awesome.

This is probably where you want to go OP. Call yourself a technician or an analyst. If they ask what you analyze, go into a tad more detail. Hell, I'd probably use the term analyst to start sexual tension, just don't make it a damn computer joke.

I work in IT and most of the responses I get are "you must be like super smart then!". If the conversation lulls, you don't have to talk about your job, there's a million other topics to talk about. This honestly sounds like negative anticipation leading to a negative response. There's nothing sexier than someone who loves their job and women that like you will find their own reasons to like what you consider a negative aspect if you exude confidence and continue to have fun.

Great analogy man, this is how I like to game. You give a little, she gives back. I think where a lot of people mess up is they want to be validated as to why to give her a little i.e they wait for her to look interested(give a little) first. By you making the first move and giving first, you set the pace. Did I say I love your analogy?

Right here OP. Once this is done, he pretty much has three choices: wing, shut up, or continue to make himself look like more of an asshole.

You've got the first step down: Go out! What I personally do when I see an attractive woman is first and foremost, what is it about her that makes her attractive? Sometimes it's obvious but sometimes I notice that I really like the cut of her dress, the way she carries herself, her hair, etc. Once you start dissecting what you really like about a particular woman, you are able to be more genuine in your approach. Once you have found a reason to talk to her, go for it. Only a rare breed of woman …

Of course not. PUA is an open mindset, it is merely a tool for you to create your perfect inner self. Once you realize how awesome you are, you're going to find that others will naturally gravitate towards you. Doesn't it feel different to be the one choosing instead of being the one impressing?

Always nice to see OP who's starting to understand what seduction is all about. You can get sex at any bar if you just walk around and ask random people until one says yes but what did you really accomplish? Continue improving and start implementing it into your daily life and you'll soon find yourself on top of the world.

The chances seem pretty slim when they're working but you never know. I've gotten a few dates just chatting to the barista in the morning or talking to the sales associate. They were all very similar, casual chatting with a few playful gestures and asking when they get off work and wanting to grab a drink. Maybe not as exciting as regular day game but still accomplished the same thing.

The psychology on this is complex but it pretty much boils down to this: If you project yourself with confidence, women will find reasons to like the things that they don't like about you. For example: her ex boyfriend has big ears and you have big ears. She HATED that about her ex but you are confident and seem to have fun when you go out. Now those big ears are "fucking sexy because whatever reason". This isn't only associated with women, men do this too. The problem could be how you respond t…

IMO you already messed up. It's not irreparable though. I think you should already be on a date with her at this point. I would personally hold off on the texting for a few days as the thread suggest. BUT, after a few days, I would CALL her. Set up a date with her, take charge. She gave you her number, I believe she wanted you to set up the date, not make friendly talk.

I bet the other girl knows her cousin wants to bang you and is trying to help make that happen. You should probably find time to go out with the other girl without her cousin around. You could also just bang the cousin if she's attractive to you and then try to bang the other girl but that's a bit more risky.

This one is directed at /u/readonlyuser: I don't agree with your first disagreement(I'm a meta hipster). It's a coffee date, puts her on the spot where she has to make a decision. She's more than likely going to say yes unless she finds she doesn't like you in a two minute window. Completely agree with second point. This has been my experience as well, it's way more connection building and leads to relationships/friendships(I guess it depends on what your goals are really). 100% bingo. For the s…

Yeah i was under the assumption that you haven't set up a date yet. Well you got the date, at the very least there's some attraction and curiosity. I think someone in this thread already hit the nail on the head, if you do end up getting a few flowers for her, play it cool and act as you normally act around her. The whole point is to make sure that you don't come off as asking for a favor(sex) in return so if you are confident you can pull it off, by all means do it!

Hey man, everyone here is here to help. These instructions are general because sooner or later, you're going to find out that life isn't scripted, things go wrong, someone makes fun of you, you get rejected, you get successes, you date boring people, you date crazy people, and at the end of the day, you pick yourself back up and keep going. You really need to get the" do this and then do this" out of your head right now, this is not how seduction/general conversation works. We understand that yo…

This is a subreddit for self-improvement, not how to make friends. Leaving the house is a great first step for making new friends. Talking to ANYONE about ANYTHING is a good first step to making friends. If talking to a person is being compared to being a CEO of a company, I'm going to take an educated guess that you are doing something wrong(probably not talking to people). When meeting someone, you could take the scientifically proven approach of "Hi, I'm ItWasAllAnIllusion".

Hey OP, i've done the flowers thing a few times throughout the past few years and I will say this from my experience. It has very mixed results. You will probably come across as desperate/needy. She will appreciate the gesture but you are more prone to lose her attraction to you. In other words, it's very high risk/high reward. You'd have a better chance at just flat out asking her on a date than to accompany it with flowers. Either way, that choice is up to you OP, you better have something to …

you'd get better responses if you change the wording a little. Even "You should give me your number" already significantly improves your chances at a positive response. You're encouraging it, not demanding it. She would feel much better giving her digits is she feels she's making the choice to give you her number, not that you forced it from her.

This is definitely the best advice you can get. This will happen with anything when you're striving to improve an aspect in your life, not just within /r/seduction. It's a tough mental block but once you get past it it's almost like you opened a new door and carved out a whole new path of endless possibilities. I like this post. One thing I personally do in these scenarios is when in a make out session or really anything intimate start to tease a little. She's built up, she's going to want to work for it a little. Let her know YOU'RE not that easy. Keep that flirtatious banter going until she just can't take it anymore and you've got yourself a really nice passionate evening. If sex doesn't happen, if you've hinted at it enough and kept the sexual tension high, 99% of the time she'll be thinking about …

THIS. I had a bad case of not living in the moment. My Dad was/still is convinced that I am in an existential crisis over my career path because I constantly wonder if i'm doing things the right way. Also to relate to OP, I was very much wondering if my time was better spent doing something else than with the girl I was talking/hanging out with. Then I picked up kickboxing. If she knows you from parties, invite her to a party. "Hey i'm going out to wherever, let's go." something that conveys that it doesn't matter her response, you're going to go anyways and she's either with you or without you. If she shows up, great. If not, meet other women and don't sweat it. And if she says no and ends up showing up anyways, good for her, she'll see you meeting other women, you'll get your answer pretty fast ;)
