Guys do that all the time in HS. There this one dude that always sneak disses me to the group of the girl he likes. They laugh but from how I've seen them act around me they all like me. I'd say just ignore it, or AMOG the guy mate guarding. Most if the time it's simpler to just talk to other girls or wait till the dude is gone to approach.

Question. If he had insulted her back wouldn't that be a loss of frame? Making him seem even more low value? I've been in the same situation and I mostly ignore or A&A because normally when women insult you it's a shit test.

Sounds like your a beta orbiter, maybe with a slight tint of oneitis. I'd say slowly start ghosting her, and don't look back, Stay on TRP, read the sidebar and apply it to your life.

From what I've read once a girl believes your a beta, you might as well just go find another chick because it would take to much effort on your part to change her opinion of you.
