It's not about them being 20, there were loads of old women in there and I didn't approach them either. Its about fear of rejection, not being good enough. Almost verbatim what I'm reading in NMMNG. My thoughts on what to do involves getting into shape and actually speaking to women is part of the way through it, the rest is for me to unpick why I think this way and find reasons why it is not true/is irrational.

Not well, letting my fear/hamster inform my decisions instead of rational thinking.

There's more to this. I wobbled over the weekend knowing the ex was out with the new guy. I picked up weed, then munchies, and that went on for a few days. Still doesn't negate progress overall, 6 week's following d-day and things could be much worse.

Agreed, I'll burn it off. I am quick to call disaster when I fuck up and wallow in it instead of acknowledging a slip and moving on.

Good point, I can do most of the foundational work without registering the company, pushing for a quick separation which seems to be agreed so I might have everything separated before the company launch. RE Smoking, today is the last day. I know its weak but I have some major stressful shit to do today.

OYS # 1 39yrs, 5’9”, 172lb, Separating. 2 kids 6 + 9yo. Ive been lurking for a while, have read some of the books. Been a typical drunk captain with multiple addictions and unhappy in my relationship, dead bedroom etc. I have spent a year breaking myself down and rebuilding myself sober. Increasing my income and trying to get into shape. I started to believe there was some hope for the marriage, strangely I seem to have developed onitis where there was none over the last 12 years. I think this i…
