"based on all the possible things you could have done with that 30 seconds" is ludicrous way to reach a conclusion on anything, but especially one's life's work. also sad: that you assume I would want to alleviate your (numerous) brain glitches. worry not about vote karma, it's of little value. and i look forward to a time when you respond with anything approaching humour!

for you to conclude that correcting one's english is a driving force in my life based on a post that took maybe 30 seconds to type only serves to further reinforce the notion that you aren't very good at reaching conclusions. better still means better, btw. and "better equality" still makes you sound dumb. as does your insistence on capitalization in this informal forum, where a lack of caps affects neither meaning nor comprehension. good luck tracking down that "better equality" you seek!

what's the difference between "getting equality" and "getting BETTER equality"? if equality is a driving force in your life, maybe you should start with understanding how to use it in a sentence.

society will be sexist as long as there is more than one sex, yes.

Can we not do the semantic b.s., and at least agree that Canada has its share of murderers and rapists and other felony-level crimes? Jeez! I like your last point -- that prisoners would be better if ex-cons could vote.

ignoring the difference between a prisoner and a felon for just a minute, how would granting ex-cons the right to vote REDUCE the number of people in jail for non-violent crimes?

The law should treat everyone fairly. Meaning: Toddlers can't drive. Felons can't vote. 13-year-olds can't buy liquor. Etc. That said, I agree that teenage girls and teenage boys should be treated equally in the scenarios above... But society is always going to be more protective of girls. [shrugs]

no no i was simply commiserating over your hatred of female stand-up comics, no criticizing of word choice was (intentionally) expressed or implied!

women judge things by comparison ("the mens subreddit is better than ours, we must quash it") whereas men are more [whatever the word for non-comparison-based is, i know such a word exists, i jsut can't think of it].

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
