As a middle class white father(32) of a 2 year old boy I actually dread it for him. This world hates us.

My wife vehemently dislikes the feminist movement and the life it took away from her.

Growing up I tried to babysit for families to earn some money but it was incredible just how much people do not want a male babysitter. I really loved younger kids and the few families I did sit for (only very close family friends) were amazing. It was just sad to see how people reacted when I told them I was available anytime they needed me. Anyways I have my own kids and family to take care of now. I get looks taking them to the park or out in public without their mother with us. It's really d…

She is very pretty despite what y'all think. Y'all are deluded to say she's not pretty. She is. But her personality is atrocious. And that's the ugly in her

It was NOT marketed as a Feminist hit piece. It was marketed as a feel good Barbie move and my Wife was really excited for that kind of nostalgic movie. We didn't watch it knowing what it would be. Where did I say that at all?

My wife and I went to see it last night and after the movie she said if she'd have known how much of a feminist propaganda/women empowerment movie it was going to be she'd have never gone to see it. It made her really uncomfortable and it wasn't what she came to see the movie for at all.

I'm sure plenty here can relate but you really need to talk to a therapist if these are your feelings about it. In the end all you can do about it is not to carry it forward in terms of your future child's well-being and in terms of your own mental health.

While I disagree with your last statement, this man certainly has a point. His whole argument is logically sound. In the end, some men just don't find positive utility in having a real flesh and blood woman. To that I say "to each his own" But for myself, I do want the emotional connection with a woman. The woman having autonomy and agency is a positive in my opinion.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
