I don't know what side I land on for the whole drink thing. I think seddit offers a lot of good arguments, but honestly I just don't think it's that big a deal. Keep it casual - if you want to buy someone a drink do it, if you don't don't and on the other side don't treat it like a big deal, but as far spending money / time on oneself as an argument for buying her a drink I have to disagree.
