I think you're being unjustifiably hard on the age of the data, you can't make any kind of conclusion if you limit yourself to the last 5-10 years of data. Positive paternal role models are also strongly linked to financial success across all races. I don't doubt that it is. But none of the links six inches to my right are helping me find a plausible link between judaism and strong paternal role models, and that it makes enough of a difference to entirely or even significantly explain the overrepresentation of jewish people in high status positions.

No, that's not my point. 1: there are more poor white neighborhoods, in raw numbers 2: there are more total crimes in poor black neighborhoods, in raw numbers. There is no one overall conclusive study or set of data that gives a direct answer. That's a huge copout because it's not that hard to determine in this particular case. You're making conclusions your dataset is not equipped to make and justifying that however you like. Well similarly, a person born in a wealthy family with a low IQ will on average be less rich at 40 years old than a high IQ person born in a poor family. Unless that same data indicates that people with higher IQ's are less likely to be convicted of crimes, be homeless or less likely to suffer mental health issues and addiction/alcoholism, I'm not sure of the relevance. On a per arrest basis a white person has a higher probability of getting killed than a black person. Black people however get arrested a lot more than white people, but the arrest rates are consistent with the rates at which people claim to have been victimized by a black person. ie: there's no reason to think black people are getting killed because of discrimination. They're getting killed because they get arrested more because they commit more crimes
