What should your reaction be when you meet someone you used to date? When you are with your SO too? Last night we ran into one of my high school boyfriends and he came up to our table to say hi. Yes, they’re not working nonstop, he has a normal 8 hour shift then he’s on call. He can get a few hours of sleep at night which he doesn’t because he usually can’t fall asleep, but in a big city and on the weekend it’s not really a boring night. There are regulations but they don’t always stay within the time limits. But his hospital isn’t that bad, my twin’s is a lot worse at keeping it legal.

There’s nothing that sucks as much as my man having a nightshift on a Saturday night except when he has a 24h on a Saturday which happened yesterday… We couldn’t go out on Friday. Then I spent Saturday at my brother’s house which was fine. Then went out for a bit with my friends. But now I’ll have to be bored the whole day while I watch him sleep, the whole weekend is gone and we barely even spent time together. At least he’s a cute sleeper :)

I’ve made plenty of mistakes but it was never my goal to manipulate him. I have problems managing my anger sometimes (not physically God forbid, it never got to that point) and I’m working on that but it can lead to me saying and doing things that I regret soon after. Ah for me what you said is true given I am already physically attracted to the man. I took that as a given. However if we look at men and women straight out of the shower then the average of their looks are on the same level. The first time I met my man I was actually FaceTiming my brother while doing my gap year abroad. He was with his new friends, including him, and introduced them to me. Too big can be painful if he doesn’t care whether he hurts you or not and in that case smaller is better, but it can also be used in different ways.
