I feel the same way. I have no sense of camaraderie with other atheists. Meeting another atheist is like meeting another person who doesn't play golf. Atheism is a negative belief, not a positive one. The label doesn't give you any more information beyond "no belief in God(s)".

I guess I would respond to that by citing this lecture which goes into detail between the connection on gender identity and sex. The relevant information is in the final quarter of the video. Although I do agree with her that gender shouldn't be enforced, but I don't agree that we should be upset when we find out that the natural state of men and women isn't a genderless identity.

Here's the thing about "the Honeymooners". As far as I know Ralph never laid a hand on Alice, Alice almost always turned out to be completely right, and the episode ended with Ralph's tail between his legs and a hug from Alice. The reason it was funny was because Ralph was all bark and no bite. While the opposite seems to be true when it comes to wives hitting husbands, which usually results into some sort of slapstick comedy.

I think the reason Saints Row can get away with that is not because it was done in such a cartoony way, but because most women in society disagree with prostitution. That's why comics can get away with "dead hooker" jokes, but not, let's say, "dead housewife" jokes.

Having emotions outside of the small range that society deems acceptable is damaging to men in general. Imagine a full grown man that is constantly crying and looking for sympathy. Most people would tell him to "man up" and stop being weak. Not only did he fail in gaining sympathy, but he also gained everybody's disrespect. Just my little UPS rant. I remember being a package handler at UPS (preload shift). I was a skinny little dude constantly told to pick up a package that is twice my size and place it on the belt. In the genetic market, men are not that value. This is an unfortunate truth and a lot of this can be explained in game theory. We need to take into account, the difference between gay and straight marriages. It could be argued that its easier for gays to divorce because a lot of them don't have children.
