There will always be that one female name that always makes my mouth taste funny saying it or makes my heart kick when I hear it. Funny thing is it's a relatively common name and the name of one of my best friends as well, but it will ALWAYS carry that extra weight.

I don't think most women are terrible- a vast majority, certainly, but not most, and definitely not all. They're only humans at the end of the day, and they can't help their nature, but I've met plenty who are good people. It's a hit-or-miss kind of thing I guess.

I still keep female friends, but only if they act like they give a shit. The second they start pretending like they're better than me and stop putting effort in, they're as good as gone.

When BMW announced there wasn't going to be a manual option on the newest M5 I considered it pretty much the end for "purists" cars on a mass-market level. I don't have anything against autos but a manual allows for more connection with a car. They even offered one on the V10 M5 even though they were trying to sell everyone on that awful SMG fuckery. If even BMW is giving up on the manual, I take it as the end of an era.

I love the 2J honestly, I wish more auto manufacturers stuck with I6 engines. There's plenty of good V6s out there but they always struck me as kinda "bleh" in comparison.

Typically rear-wheel drive cars that make a lot of power and torque have LSDs. BMW's been putting them in their M-cars for a while now, I know the newer Lexus IS-Fs had one, and even my buddy's old 5 speed IS300 has one too even though the stock 2JZ-GTE is not exactly a frame-bender. Useful tech that can help put power down... or help pull off wild slides if you're looking to cause trouble ;)

I love how it specifies that she did this after they financially backed the production of the perfume. Even important business partners are reduced to Beta Bucks at the end of the day.

I like jeans and clean looking button-downs myself, but I never pay too much attention to brand. My favorite couple pairs of jeans were Goodwill finds, and the shirts were usually products of back-to-school shopping a few years back since I tend to make things last. I wear is a vintage pair of cowboy boots (maintained impeccably, of course), which is admittedly a fairly distinct way to dress, but I like having my own style. I admire your simple and functional way of dress, I must admit, and it's…

I kind of enjoyed Gossip Girl because I could look at it as the exact sort of show women love- a bunch of senseless drama centered around a bunch of spoiled bratty children living dream lives.

I know of literally two exceptions to the rule, and, well, they're just that- exceptions. One of them even regrets joining. All of the other girls I associate with are either just not in a sorority or are past that, they're actually anti-sorority. Usually the latter. As it happens, those girls actually have distinct, individual personalities and aren't just cookie-cutter people.

Sorority girls are the worst type of females. Not only do they think they're entitled to be sought after and treated like princesses, they're all basically the same person. They dress the same, they talk the same, they make the same social media posts and do the same things. They follow dumb frat guys who can take them to parties where they get wasted and they ignore you if you can't do that for them. And god forbid you do something wrong to one of them because they'll blacklist you from their w…

Avoiding them is the best option I've found. I'll stick to improving myself. I'm not fully redpilled but I see more and more evidence every day as to why I should take it. Disheartening, but the truth is rarely easy to grasp.

I was told by a former roommate of hers that she does this sort of thing often. I'd be more pissed about it if it wasn't so sad.

A friend of mine who was accused of rape in a text convo with a girl with whom literally nothing happened (I was there) typed and printed out sexual consent forms after the fact. It was mostly a joke but it's sad that we almost have to take it seriously. The girl backtracked completely and tried to claim it was a "joke" after she realized how dumb she sounded, but she has been subsequently blocked, avoided, and altogether removed from all of our lives. Still, it's something to think about.

This gave me stage 3 autism. Not only does she basically use the same point worded marginally differently 3 or 4 times, she fails to back up anything she says with actual evidence. You're right, hon, marriage is on the decline- but not for the reasons you keep telling yourself.

I agree 100%! I can't justify spending upwards of $20k on a car that's older than me, but I'd love an R32 Skyline GTR. Kinda into the weird tiny cars (I dunno how broad "K car" is as a term) like the Autozam AZ-1 and the Suzuki Cappuccino.

I consider the satisfaction of working on a car and being capable and knowledgeable enough to maintain a vehicle valuable, but of course I understand what you mean. It'd be profitable to get into the BMW M-car market if I could play my cars right. E46 M3s and E39 M5s have skyrocketed in value, and I'm curious to see if E60 M5s and E90 M3s follow the same route, especially since both of them have unique power plants and are comparatively inexpensive right now. I also just want to have an E60 M5. …

Old offroaders are definitely neat, I saw an old Bronco for sale around here the other weekend.

I already browse /r/cars a ton, just thought it'd be interesting to see if anyone here shared an interest. Being into cars is one of those traits a lot of men have and a lot of women don't so I figured I'd get some hits. That being said, working on cars with dad is what got me into the mechanical side as well. We restored an old Benz turbodiesel, the 5 cylinder kind that blows smoke when you first start it. We still have it and it runs like a top.

I'd love one of those '59 Cadillac Eldorados. Gigantic American cars are some of the neatest things out there and they're really the exception to the rule when it comes to my interests.

"Mass produced" is the best way I've heard it described. It's especially true with sorority girls here on campus, and I've ranted elsewhere about more of their mannerisms, but they're all literally almost identical. My female friends that are actually cool, individual, different people with actual separate personalities are either not in a sorority or are actually anti-sorority.

Cars > women. I'd rather put my time and money into buying, operating and maintaining the 6 speed manual 2008 BMW M5 I've had my eye on than into maintaining a marriage. Even a high-strung performance sedan like that is cheaper than a woman. It's certainly more practical, and at the end of the day I could rest easier knowing it won't leave me and take my money and children with it. I made the argument to a friend before and he didn't buy it, but the car of my dreams, a thirsty, high-maintenance,…

The main thing I've noticed about most sorority girls is that if you're not in a fraternity, don't even try talking to one. If you can't get them into wild parties where they can get shitfaced, or take them to formal, or introduce them to more (potentially more attractive) douchey horny guys, you're useless to them, so don't even bother. A lot of this is just generalization, but stereotypes exist for a reason. I've seen fuck ugly guys with attractive girls just because they can get the girl what…

So put the mug in a cabinet? The owner doesn't have to display it. My dad's Thin Blue Line mug might offend someone depending on how they view law enforcement, but it's not out unless it's being used.

Working out. Nothing feels better than a good pump. Working on cars. I love feeling accomplished once I've replaced something or gotten some necessary maintenance taken care of. Shopping for cars. Autotrader is my favorite but I fuck with Cargurus too. I consider myself an amateur car enthusiast and even though I'm usually just browsing for shits and giggles I'd love to own something fast some day. I desperately want to daily a manual. Video games. Keeping with the vehicular theme again here, as…
