My original post was removed for some reason. this is what it contained. I can see it but I don't understand it. I could maybe understand why if there were fewer of them than men, but the opposite is true. In my experiences, they are a vile, conniving part of human relations. I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm gay (because hormones my wont allow it) but what's wrong with guys?

That's actually pretty unfortunate. Police really had to shoot her to death?

Good point. The type of guy(s) they've been around really dictates their behavior.

Just a side note, but I've found that women who have grown up with brothers are usually better and more understanding.

I really think that many very good men are loners/adventurers at heart. In order to realize their true potential, they need to get out of the "comfort" zone.

It's not the wrong motivation anyway. What do we need to be extra buff for anyway these days? We don't hunt. We don't use our physical prowess in order to stay alive. After a certain modest point in physicality, you are going to live longer than the guy who goes all out anyway, statistically. Think about it man, it's mostly for sex.

I'm cool with the no more responses from you part. :) I was just pointing out that you were being pedantic.

Well no, you're just making a false comparison, and I'm calling you out on it. He didn't actually mean literally "white men don't cat call." He meant it like a comparison and general statement - kinda like saying "dude, chicks don't dig fat dudes."

Well then the question is if black frat guys catcall with the same frequency, isn't it?

Not to mention, why would in the world would the director edit out white men, period? It was supposed to be a video of a woman walking around town for 10 hours, right? Believe me, they filmed every chance they could of someone hitting on that girl.

There are a lot of variables, and just like for many subjects, not enough research has been done. Nowadays, researchers wouldn't want to touch this study with a 10 foot pole. For social issues like this and especially for relationship and love studies, it's going to be nearly impossible. a lot of people don't say what they think, if they even volunteer that information in the first place. I mean, we can continue dancing around trying to explain off or substantiate these inequalities... For insta…

I found the actual statistic and source here. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interracial_marriage_in_the_United_States More than twice as many marriages are white woman black man, than white man black woman. More than 100% variance, and we're just talking marriages here, not relationships.

Well no, I'm not sure you can make that call that it is definitely confirmation bias. I study couples indiscriminately in the sense that I take note of when I see a black man, white female couple, and also when I see a black female, white male couple, and also when I see a black male black female couple, and they are simply not all the same proportion of each.

You may be right. It could be all my own observation bias, but I will at least say that I swear I see more white women with black men, than white men with black women. Sometimes when I go to the club I see several black males surrounding, dancing with, hitting on the very few white girls even when there are black girls all over the place. It's just an observation. Not one that I make in passing either. I've actually made it a point to count the people and who they're with. It's hard to comment o…

They typically have been loud and obnoxious with me, but my sexual preference is white girls and I've only actually dated like 3 black girls, so I may be biased, and my opinions on the matter are obviously anecdotal. My question is, why do a lot of black males prefer white women to black women?

I think we may be coming to the same conclusion. Women(indeed people) who work less earn less. The opportunities for women in the workplace and in general are more favorable now, and increasingly favorable as time moves on. They are downright unfavorable for educated white men with the same credentials, no matter how you cut it.

No I mean what you are projecting is still a myth. What I say is patently true for all working women. It is also true for non-working women. They simply get more in government help. Moreover, they now make considerably more for equal work, if they do work. Period. I actually researched this quite a bit and will have to dig up some of my old articles I guess.

It has been this way for some time now. I started reading articles about it many years ago. Of course it is not this way in many countries and across the board. But in first world countries? You betcha. I did some research and found that the main factor driving down the average income of women is black, single, unemployed mothers, by far. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129584041

The wage gap is a myth. Women now earn more than guys, and are generally more highly educated. This doesn't even count the externality supplements of being a woman, such as guys buying you dinner and a movie, a ring, a house, or etc. Men are being disenfranchised and they have no one to blame but themselves. Also the swinging pendulum of "equality." I guess there's that too.
