I may support this but only if women need to take an equal course about respecting men. Women are rarely held to any standards of politeness or kindness when interacting with men and rarely see consequences for behaviors that towards any other group of people would be seen as disgusting. They need to be taught that men are people and should be treated with respect and not targeted for their gender. In fact maybe we should just have empathy classes where kids are taught how to treat others with k…

It’s possible socialism as a political ideology could provide a good rallying point for male advocates. All men really want is gender equality and centering your movement around an ideology that strives for total equity in society is a good way to achieve that. Furthermore, any true socialist movement would be able to unite across gender lines while excluding modern feminists on the basis that they don’t advocate for equality. However most socialists I’ve met in America seem too far down the fem…

Pretty good for a mainstream leftist YouTuber, I watched it and was pleasantly surprised.

The only reason they can hold jobs is with special privileges, bosses aren’t nearly as hard on women and expect half as much, pretty privilege is a good word for it. Affirmative action for half the population.

We still shame women for sluttiness? No not really. Being promiscuous as a woman has actually become pretty socially acceptable. We seem to have mostly moved past the majority of stereotypes around women and a stereotyping women has become not socially acceptable, the same can’t be said for men though. This is the work of feminism that we need to do for our own gender.

I feel like a lot of this has to do with antiquated views on gender at large. Women are still seen as caregivers and domestic workers. While women who live in those roles are often disadvantaged, since that expectation is put on all women, women who don’t need external financial support to take on those responsibilities (so primarily younger, middle to upper class women) get to benefit from that perception without experiencing the downsides of having to actually take on that work, by not receivi…

So, the justification used for not punishing false accusers given in the article is that it makes real victims of sexual assault less likely to come forward, which, even if that made sense, you’re essentially saying that innocent men going to prison is a necessary evil so that victims can be less scared to come forward? So in order to protect victims you need to protect those who lied about being victims? The logic makes no sense and even if it did what in what world would that be an acceptable …

I see where you’re coming from, the main idea I was trying to express is it’s important to decrease the power women have over male sexuality, and that can only come from increasing the number of women willing to participate in sex work, which can only come through immigration.

Legalize sex work! create special visas so that women from around the world can come to rich countries and provide for their families back home. Doing this would not only eliminate sex trafficking (doing an actual tangible good for millions of women and young girls who get stuck in that type of horror) but also reduce rates of sexual violence and pull millions of men out of the incell pipeline. But Rich western women would never go for that because it would mean sex would no longer be rare and t…

Gen z women; millennial women are bad but most people become more realistic with age and life experience so they’re less likely to see things in black-and-white. GenZ women however, at least the college crowd I have interacted with, take narcissism and self-centeredness to a whole new level. Being coddled and fawned over by every man you meet plus being taken care of by your parents and having your lifestyle paid for is a dangerous combination. Bad/doting parents is one of the biggest parts of t…

There are two main paths to be becoming a CEO, be born into a rich family and get handed a company by your parents or work your way up through years of risk and dedication. Women aren’t close to being incentivized to take either of those paths in life. If you’re born rich as a woman your parents won’t expect you to work for your money unlike if you’re a man because of the whole “little princess” mentality, so why would you? Or if you want to make even more money why wouldn’t you just marry into …

Yeah, I should have specified I meant southern Europe, but also we’re talking in relative terms here, the whole world is shit for men.

It’s very much a murica thing I feel like. Europe for all it’s faults has fallen much less down the rabbit hole of demonizing men and trying to assert female supremacy.

There is a lot of reasons, attention being a big one, but the main one is power. Making a false allegation gives a woman power over a man, and a lot of women feel like they’re entitled to that. Also, there is a major problem with narcissism among women, essentially younger ones, and making a false allegation feeds into that. So yeah, they do it as a power trip basically, the combination of the attention they receive and the negative impact it causes on someone else’s life makes them feel strong.

You’ll make more than a man with a college degree nowadays. And they still demonize the male sexuality that they’re profiting from so much. Maybe it’s because if there wasn’t so much shame around male sexuality less people would be home alone watching porn.

For the record I also see no problem with it, I’m actually very pro sex and think human sexuality should be liberated rather than repressed. My problem is when women sexualize themselves and then play the victim and demonize men and their sexuality for objectifying women. Like, if you’re going to be sexually expressive then be sexually expressive, don’t sexualize yourself then call other people pigs for expressing their own sexuality in response, that’s a double standard. You made your choice, n…

I posted about this same topic in a similar sub a while ago with a more detailed proposal of how to fix this problem. Curious to see what you think <3 https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/s/7a2F2Qxrd0 Edit: re reading my post, I would probably make it so only one party needs to consent as long as the other is given ample notice that the documentation has been filed with the court.

Women sexualize themselves, feminists will be quick look talk down on men for expressing their sexuality whether their doing it in a healthy or unhealthy way, but very rarely will they police each other for sexualizing their own body’s for personal gain.

I feel like all of the language we have about this is centered around disparaging and blaming the men involved. No one talks about the women who actively foster and maintain these unbalanced relationships for their own gain. We need a word for them lol.

I looked it up, apparently orbiting is usually used to refer to men who are in this type of friendship. People don’t talk about the other side of women who actively try to create these types of dynamics and then turn that into their entire social circle.

I think this post fits under rule 1 as “discussion of issues that disproportionally affect men.” Incase the mods were wondering <3

Women have always been socialized to be picky but it’s gotten unsustainable in the past 10-20 years. The advent of social media has taught women to have unrealistically high standards for romantic partners both looks and personality wise. Also, while social media has almost universally been used to empower women of all shapes, sizes, appearances and personalities, it’s pretty much demonized men who don’t meet strict standards of masculinity and appearance. Not to mention the proliferation of “th…

Idk, I understand what your saying with it being suspicious, but I still think people should hold off on their conclusions until concrete evidence can be provided, and so far everything I’ve heard has either been circumstantial or unsubstantiated.

Wonderful statement, there’s a lot of anger on this sub, and it’s all extremely justified, but I feel like it’s worth acknowledging that we don’t have to be alone in this fight. All we’re asking for is common sense reforms, and basic human respect. That’s something people of any age, gender, and nationality can get behind.

Thank you for being willing to talk to people about this, I might catch flack for this, but I think we really need more women in this movement. It’s not like most women have a ton to gain by watching men get treated like shit, true gender equality is something that will first and foremost hurt the top 10% of people who benefit from driving a wedge between the rest of us. And with you speaking up for us at least we can’t be called a bunch of women hating incells. (Well, they’ll still call us that…

This, it’s the choice between someone who hates you, or someone who only cares about you to the extent they can extract wealth from your body. Neither side seems to really see men as people.
