they have a fear of being perceived as "beta", so they overcompensate by acting like an asshole, which they perceive as "alpha"

I think the reason they don't give you an answer is because they don't have one themselves. They just cover ignorance with passive aggressive and sarcastic responses. I've been thinking about it, and here is the real reason to deal with women, when taking TRP to its logical conclusions: happy healthy and successful children. While children may be the farthest thing from your mind right now, ultimately this is the outcome of our time with women. You want to produce children with the highest quali…

funny how noone will give you a straight answer to your question, most just tell you to fuck off, as if the answer is so obvious. the closest thing to an answer is grrrms response, which isnt very satisfying. he says essentially that we should bother with women because we need them. i think your question is actually quite deep, even if the way you express it is a tad combative. unfortunately, i dont have a good answer for you.

i think the worst advice is to suppress and ignore your feelings. its counter productive and clouds your thought process further. what i would suggest is start exploring in your mind how you would react if you did lose her. think about the things you would do to keep busy, the new girls you would meet, and generally how your life would go on and keep improving. of course it would be disappointing and a bit sad perhaps, but you have your mission in life independent of her, and this is what you fo…

i would of started talking to the friends that approached me. asked what her deal was, if she wanted to dance why did she keep running away. i would genuinely be curious. then i would probably just ask if they wanted to dance instead.

it seems like you want them to bring value to your life. try bringing some value to theirs first.

rejection has always been something very difficult for me to handle. i guess im just sensitive. what probably helps the most is just getting rejected a lot. you build up a tolerance. you realize they arent really rejecting who you are, they dont even know you. something that mark manson talks about in models is something that rings true to me as well. if you approach with honesty, confidence and vulnerability and you still get rejected, its actually a good thing. saves time and filters women. th…

Regardless of when monogamy became the norm in human history, the fact is that humans eventually converged on this child rearing strategy to produce the most 'fit' offspring, beating out other strategies. The offspring of these arrangements have carried out this behavior up to present day. You are right, I may be technically incorrect with my wording or knowledge of history, but my point is that it makes sense when entering such a long term relationship, that both mates be selective about the ot…

you suggest i disprove myself by reading an entire book? would you like to provide a tldr?

id guess because through out human history, when actual breeding happens, it happens mainly in a monogamous relationships. these types of relationships tend to produce the most successful individuals. because of monogamy and the innate desire to produce successful offspring, men have some standards in women.

a lot of lifting for me has been a mental process of learning how to amp myself up to put as much as i can into it on a consistent basis. you hit the nail on the head, my motivation is the same as yours. i think of women, rejections, girls i think are out of my league, goals i fail to achieve, and i just try to get pissed off and then lift hard.

its usually pretty easy to fuck a girl without a condom, but that should tell you right there that you probably should use one. i feel like if you put one on though without really asking or saying much about it, the woman will be more willing to have sex. that said ive fucked plenty without a condom, but its risky behavior that i want to stop.

oh i can basically last forever with a condom on. i wish i could finish in like 5-10 minutes, that would be a dream for me. but its like having a novacaine shot in the cock. it also affects performance in other ways, but i digress. im doing longer nofaps now, which might help.

good tips, its something i really need to work on. i feel like im not passionate enough. wearing a condom also really sucks and i dont get much pleasure out of it, and that also affects how into it i am.

hey, i went through a similar dry spell. rather than a year, it was more like over 6 years. it was a time where i really took a long hard look at myself and really worked on self improvement, finding interests and taking action to go from depressed and lazy to relatively happy and motivated. some might call this a monk mode, but it was also involuntary celibacy. I knew I had so much to do with myself first and put women as my lowest priority. It seems like this is a great opportunity for you to …

this could be a funny thread, there are so many. the one that really sticks out for me is "don't" by ed sheeran. its about a guy who falls for a girl after a hookup. she later ends up banging another guy, and he gets really upset even though he "wasnt looking for promise or commitment"

Its not a cop out of anything, its an observation. You can try to strawman me and misconstrue my original statement, but I feel it stands. If you want easy sex, you will attract easy girls and learn to accept the low quality behavior that comes with them. Once in this cycle you succumb to confirmation bias, seeing the cold truth about women in every relationship. TRP is all about educating, understanding, accepting and profiting from this behavior, behavior that a bluepiller would consider highl…

its nice to get a womans perspective. you bring up a good point about a sort of self fullfilling prophecy, something which I have also been thinking about, and i think you could be right. you want easy sex, so you attract easy girls and the type of low quality behavior that comes with them. while it would be great to meet high quality "conservative" women, there is no sure fire way of doing this outside church perhaps. but even within church, one must be wary, because the repression of sexuality…

your friends reaction is kind of shitty. ive been in his shoes, the "ugly" freind, and it is frustrating for sure, but you cant take it out on your bros. thats just how girls are. it sounds like he should have a better understanding of that considering what you say about his experience.

in certain situations, silence builds tension, sexual tension in this case. we all know the feeling, it feels uncomfortable, like we need to say or do something, almost like an awkwardess. women love this for some reason. similar to holding eyecontact and allowing her to break first, when she breaks the tension rather that you, its like a dominance thing. im sure others here could explain it better that me, but it really works.

i like the direct approach, its reassuring to see that you are having success with that. but its not just directness, its being direct in an interesting way. you have any experience using this in a non online meet up?

Really funny comebacks to this girl, I wish I had such creativity and humor in situations like that. Personally though I would of just let her comments go in the beginning, considering my friends one-itis and how toying with a girl like that will just amp up attraction for you.

Yea it was contradictory in that she claimed its easy to go talk to a girl, yet all these guys were acting as if they took her advice by talking to her, only to get continually rejected.

I dont understand, are you disagreeing with what people on TRP are saying, or are you agreeing and saying that the reality is quite awful?

pre-selection gone wrong i guess. i did enjoy the story though, thanks for sharing it. I did find it disturbing though that you made a pact with your friend to not bang any girls that night, then you banged three.

an example of female advice: im out at a bar with friends. a friends hot girlfreind is giving me advice on approaching women, saying "just go up and talk to them, its really easy". which in itself is not bad advice. 5 minutes later she goes and comes back from the bathroom and complains to me about all the guys that hit on her and how she rejected them. i laughed and pointed out her contradicting advice.

i agree, but i dont think people are by default irrational, these are adaptations to society and learned behavior. dont discount irrationality though, give it the respect it deserves as a tool to further goals. you will find that accepting some controlled irrationality into your life is actually quite rational.

the belief that women find me attractive and want to sleep with me is irrational if i have no empiricle evidence to support it. yet i will be more successful with women if i hold this belief vs the rationally supported belief that women dont find me sexually attractive. irrational beliefs are very powerful when used in a way to further your goals, this is probably why we have the capability to hold them.

Well everything I learned about dance floor game I learned on my own, and I never experienced anything close to that. This isn't about fingering or groping girls on the dance floor, its all very wholesome.

i think the main thing is to just feel comfortable while you are out there. This takes experience. Dont scan the room constantly. Look like you are enjoying yourself. It helps if you like the music and have attractive friends with you. I go out with guys who are better looking than me. Engage with your friends, talk to them while on the dance floor. Even if you dont dance with any girls make it fun for yourself and your friends. You dont need to know any fancy dance moves, just learn the two ste…

I consider myself very introverted. I had the same reaction to clubs and bars as you had, fortunately for you, you had a guide and are already familiar with RP. It took me many years to learn to bear going out, then to not mind it, then to enjoy it. It took a lot of forcing myself to go when I hated it, but you do something enough and you learn. Something that noone talks about in pickup or here, but something that I experimented with and got "good" at is dance floor game. People always say to s…

im half asian as well, and have the same problems with american women. im fit, intelligent and have a good job, but im short, soft spoken and look about 10 years younger than i really am. ive been to thailand many times on family vacations, but never to meet women. i never found thai women attractive unfortunately. as a foreigner in thailand though you do feel like a celebrity, and it is a big let down to lose that feeling in america. the down side is that these thai women are all trying to get …
