It will only cause problems, with the potential to be used against you in the future.

Well, My ex wife started having multiple affairs 6 months into our marriage. I ended the marriage, but still had to give her a bunch of money & other stuff to make her go away. I have a significantly greater salary than her (~3x), so even though her actions ruined everything, I ended up getting screwed out of several 10's of thousands of $. It didn't matter what she did, I was the one that had to pay. But hey, at the end of the day, my personal well being and sanity were worth it. Still sucked t…

Try some Jack Kerouac, like On the Road or The Dharma Bums. The books are great, they tell an awesome story, and the main characters are the personification of the IDGAF attitude and not caring what anyone else things. You can't go wrong with classics. Also, reading is one of the last remaining forms of entertainment where you actually have to use your own imagination to create the scene of what you are reading. Movies are great, but you are witnessing the story from the director's point of view…

I am 5'6" and frankly I could care less about how tall any guy or girl is around me. I will talk to girls taller tha me, no problem. As long as you are comfortable with your height, anyone who has a problem with it can piss off.

Dude live music is one of my favorite things in the world, but maybe playing guitar for most of life makes me biased. If the groups you see sound crappy live, I suggest you get into different/better music. There is nothing quite like watching my favorite guitarists rip through solos live onstage, and watching a band nail my favorite tunes.

Got married to a girl (not diagnosed, but strong BPD tendencies) who turned on me, cheated repeatedly, and tried to destroy me. I did what I thought was right in that relationship, I gave her everything she ever wanted and treated her very well. And she turned on me like a switch, she didn't have the courtesy to stab me in the back, she just did it right in front of my face. For the record, after discovering all this, and after truly following my own path and taking full responsibility and contr…

You pedestalized her before you even met her by characterizing her as a "good girl", which colored your every move beyond that point Damn man I didn't even realize this, but this is exactly 150% what I did, thanks for helping to open my eyes. Cockblocked myself right from the start, I let myself cater to what I thought this girl would want instead of pulling her into my frame and leading her. I did not assume attraction, even though it was clearly there from the beginning (wanting to see me, her…

Now that you see her for who/what she really is, I think you will start having some startling revelations. I know I did when I went through something similar....like I can't even believe who/what my STBXW is. My advice (what I did) is to cut her off cold and hard, emotionally and financially as much as you can. But then put on your armor get ready for her to try and suck you back in. This is where you will be able to see her true colors, with what she says and what she does. I'm so sorry that yo…

Been here. The true litmus test for whether she is serious about wanting to work on your relationship is to ignore everything she says concerning this and simply watch her actions. Make sure they 100% match up. Either way, you will have your answer about how genuine she actually is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
