Once you realize when it is happening, you cannot deny the coincidence that every women you've ever met does it. What about the coincidence where the common factor in all of your unsatisfying relationships is you?

Just because this whole community is made up of men who have been emotionally abused by women in similar ways doesn't mean this emotional abuse happens to all or even most men. It's great that you guys found each other though. It'd be nice if you were helping each other heal, but what's actually happening is this echo chamber of hate quickly turns into indoctrination. Now you need to abuse all women because some women have abused you. Baggage much?

I think the most interesting bit is here in your post: "should I just give up on women and try to find happiness elsewhere in life?" It's not an either/or. Develop yourself and pursue happiness on all fronts. This pays off everywhere in life, including in the dating sphere. Always wanted to pick up an instrument and play in a band? Better now than never.

What you mean is women need to be married off like chattel as part of a business deal to forge bonds between dynastic families and brutally stoned to death if they falter even once and offend family honor. That's a woman who knows her place! Amirite bros?

Here, let me restate this in terms more familiar to theredpill swallowers. There are things she will do to him that she wouldn't do to you. Like make him pay for every meal, and constantly remind him that her birthday is coming up, picks fights with strangers and makes him defend her, reiterate how much she loves champagne when they go out, insist on taking cabs everywhere when it's perfectly walkable, and gee wouldn't it be nice to have a bottle in the VIP room instead of standing the whole tim…

Maybe TRP swallowers are trying to break out of this forum to shake the Firehouse Effect. The Firehouse Effect posits that firemen with a lot of idle time between calls often sit around talking with each other. Because they are like-minded in certain aspects, (they're all firemen) and because they only discuss a limited number of topics, over time they cease questioning each other and often converge on conclusions that an outside observer would find illogical or ridiculous.

And yet here in this thread an article that suggests that men should do 50% or more of the housework is dismissed as lunacy. You've contradicted the OP. Housework is simultaneously so trivial that women are being petty for complaining about the automatic obligation yet housework that's automatically assigned to men instead of women is an injustice They can't both be true. You've painted yourself into a corner. If you want to escape with a logical argument you can either admit obligations pinned …

The fact that you take a call for modernizing gender roles as a threat to your being is a great example of how entrenched gender biases are. Example: "do up to if not more than 50% of the housework? FUCKING DIE HITLER" Completely missing the point that women live in a world where they're normally expected to do 100% of it. Women doing 60% of it is fine, splitting it 50/50% is MAYBE okay, but a world where men are asked to do 60% of it sets off your HELP HELP I'M BEING OPPRESSED alarms. Not being…
