I don't know what these guys are saying. Career fairs can easily land you interviews. Be charming and enthusiastic when you talk to company reps. Get them to remember you. Exchange contact info. If that company ever has a position available, reach out to that rep asking about the position and nine times out of then, they can put in a good word and usually secure you an interview. Of course, this is assuming you didn't fuck it up at the career fair and you have a decent resume

I went through the same thing. You might have 'jumpers knee', look it up. I took a few months break from heavy squatting and focused on stretching and strengthening my glutes. worked wonders

When I was in high school, I was invited to a lot of parties. Honestly, just be charismatic and outgoing. Be funny and talk to people. Be aware of the tone and atmosphere of the party and your plate. Someone offers you a drink? Take it and say thanks. No one will be mad if you nurse that drink for the rest of the night. Come Monday, when you're back in class and people are talking about the party last weekend, you want to be someone that was involved in the fun and interesting things that happen…

I see. I still wouldn't even stoop to that level. I would continue to be the captain, remain stoic and tell her how that was disrespectful and will not continue in this household. It sounds like she's being childish, so treat her like a child

Wouldn't the screaming loudly back at her put you in her frame? I also think like this could come back to bite you in the ass. I feel like she will always remember this. Would like your two cents on this

Why not? I follow a lot of men's fashion IG accounts for ideas

This advice may not work for everyone, but I enjoy following these accounts on instagram: menwithstreetstyle (favourite) mensstyle.co modernstyleofmen these accounts opened my mind to how well guys can dress even with only jeans and a shirt. the driving home point is to find clothes that fit your body properly (and to be fit, which is what you should be doing anyways). I've been dressing more like the guys from menwithstreetstyle and my SMV has increased substantially.

You want to be a man.. Ditch the safety razors! Using a straight razor doesn't make you more of a man.

I had no idea... I've never had to deal with a serious loss. Good luck /u/bmer92 through this tough time.

I didn't shoot the guy down in any way; I'm making sure his priorities are straight. If she died today, I'm sure there are 1000 things he should be doing to get things in order or deal with grief. If this is his vehicle of dealing with it, then it's fine. I'm just looking out for him.

that sucks man, but shouldn't you be busy dealing with this stuff rather than posting on reddit?

lol, it was a joke, but I appreciate the info. She says I'm actually really good at planning things to do, just not when it comes to buying actual gifts. I like the no pajamas thing though, definitely going to try that asap.

It's weird that's its a joke meant to sort of put me down, which is why I wanted to post to this sub and see what people think. But you're right, she's just giving me material to work with

If that's what you think, then you haven't read the material. I suggest you sort this subreddit by top posts and read some other entries. You may find some people are in a similar situation. Then go read the material again.

You're a beta pussy in her eyes. You're a beta pussy in my eyes. If you've read the literature and it doesn't pertain to you, then move on and continue this lifestyle.

Sex only 3 times since they got married, which is last year. Still not a lot of sex though

That's kind of a flawed system if you ace every course but fail one and you have to redo everything

why do you need to do 3 years of uni again for failing one test?
/r/askTRP24/10/16 08:06 PM

or maybe she had plans already? and because you told her two days in advance to go do something that takes up an entire afternoon? maybe she just wanted to hang out with you, and not you and your sister?

I'm not gonna repeat what everyone has already said in this thread. It sounds like you know you were being too arrogant and dickish with her family members and now you know how to fix it. Thanks for the update and good luck

honestly, man, I think you're me. Same kind of conservative girl, doesn't go out, etc. Hold out and keep frame. This is the only way. She will realize how much she misses/needs you, and she has to be the first one to make contact. If you contact her first, then trust me, you lose all of your power. She has to know she's in the wrong or she'll get worse and worse.

so if you want better friends stop being a loser first wtf do you think he's trying to do? he's trying to find better people to hang out with and his interests are very different from his friends.

If you don't know how to control yourself around your friends, then I don't think you're ready for TRP.
