I actually don't have a huge amount of time, and sort of unfortunately, I see there could be lots of potential problems waiting in the wings for me if something "goes wrong" in the eyes of the parents. I had male role models when I was his age, but they were my martial arts instructors/buddies, my brother, my dad, and my stepdad (in no particular order). At this point I think I'm more tempted to direct him towards my old martial arts school, or maybe the boy scouts.
