I can't agree more with the fist part of that. As to the other that is why I was thinking that a lawyer would be best for helping with getting assets separated in her or my name just hoping that we could use one lawyer that we both meet with together to advise us and avoid paying two to fight each other, double the cost and I assume their cost would come out of the combined assets so less for both of us. of course I could be completely wrong on how they get paid as this is new to me.
