1	Going bowling later today, any tips for a beginner? Yeah, I know it all, I did youth leagues, and also worked at the bowling alley. My top game is a 269, a gutterball on my first shot, spared it, strikes all the way to my second ball of the tenth frame and then I left the 5-pin up. With lane balls there is no way you are actually going to get any hook, but the spin does help the ball follow-through the pins. 3	Going bowling later today, any tips for a beginner? The best game in bowling you can get without a strike will only get you 190 points. Even throwing alternating strikes and spares in each frame will only get you 200 points (called a dutch 200). Even for experienced players, the most important thing you can do is pick up your spares, as it gives you the potential to score a larger amount in subsequent frames, thus inflating your score. 1	Just realized something about myself, also an interesting day You say you are naturally sarcastic and have a shocking sense of humor. Don't avoid using this when you are meeting new people. I tend to use sarcasm a ton, and love shocking people with what I say. Whenever I behave like this around anyone I just met, I usually get great reactions. 3	I've taken to the practice of asking women, who I know that I've bombed on a date with, how I bombed... Yeah, I will not throw a game if I am going bowling because if it is a girl I actually end up in a relationship with, she will find out eventually that I'm really good. I for one am really good (far too many years in leagues). This poses the question, should you still do that type of date if you are really good at it? I think it looks somewhat bad if I'm bowling a 200 game and she is struggling to get half that score. 1	Seddit, how many of you study the material not because you want to be a PUA, but because you want the partner of your dreams? For me, I study the material purely to become a better person. It has helped me in all areas of my social life. I am much better at recognizing how people are behaving and am able to build more rapport with nearly everyone I talk to. If you had you would be able to see how many similarities there are between what is described in The Game and what they do.
