Nah, a good life goal is approachable but innately unachievable. You never want your ultimate life purpose to be complete, or else you'll finish it and find yourself lost. "Well now what?" Enlightenment isn't something you achieve, it's something you pursue and approach, and in the process, you become a better person. A person more in unison with the Universe. That's why having kids is a bad life purpose. Well now that you had them, is your life over? They're all grown up, but you're still there…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 09:12 PM

It can be a good thing but it's not the end-all be-all of good things. As I mentioned, that would be achieving enlightenment. I've been watching documentaries on the third world and there are a lot of people out there who make barely enough to feed themselves, and also have like 3 children. According to your logic, that person is doing better than a childless PhD holder who discovers new medicines and does charity work.

Haha that reminds me of a conclusion I came to a while ago. "The best politicians are the ones who are too moral to get into politics." Perhaps the best parents are the ones who are too responsible to create children.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 08:40 PM

Meaning is meaningless. Anything can be meaning. Kids, sure. Also a pet, a career, a hobby, a relationship. Enlightenment > meaning. Enlightenment is acquiring as much knowledge, understanding, empathy, objectivity, introspection, etc. about the universe as humanly possible. Kids can play a role in englightment but generally they hurt it because your life becomes far more limited. You can no longer have as many diverse experiences and focuses because your fulltime job is to take care of these ti…

For sure, I feel a natural pull towards animals that I don't experience with children. But, I always assumed children would "grow on me" as I got older.

Having my own dog has made me want children less. I love my doggie to death but first, it's so expensive. I'm spending money on him that I think three times before spending on myself. Second, it's time consuming but at least i genuinely enjoy training and spending time with dogs. The same cannot be said for children, who talk back, hold grudges, and you can't do much to reprimand them without it being deemed abusive. And third, any little thing happens to him and I get so stressed and worried. L…

I've literally had that exact debate with a guy here, who claimed teen girls are more fertile than mid twenties women. It's not "under my skin" ... i AM a young woman, there's nothing you can even claim that I am bitter about.

"On the other end of the spectrum, the researchers also found that children born to young parents (20 years old and younger) also had an increased risk of bipolar disorder - 23 per cent higher odds for women and 29 per cent for men." sauce This post is dedicated to the weird PPD men who claim teen girls are when women are at their most fertile

It doesn't matter that is was rare, it matters that you first saw it in the context of sexy adult women. I didn't. Plus, I'm talking about the aesthetic and you're talking about the functionality. I'm not into oral sex so that's a nonfactor.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/22 02:33 PM

I'm not saying you're pedo-ish lol. As a male, you probably first encountered hairless puss in porn so you associated it with sexiness. As a female, I first encountered it in being a child, so I associate it with children. My ideal man likes hair, although they are hard to find lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/22 02:20 PM

Assuming we are talking about bikini, for all of my teenagehood, and the start of my adulthood, I didn't shave unless I was going to the beach. Recently, I've been shaving the edges and trimming the center. But I don't like hairless puss. I've shaved it clean a handful of times and gives me prepubescent child vibes.

Q4A Which one do you have a greater natural affinity for: kids, animals, or neither? By natural affinity, I mean something that feels innately emotional to you, it's not derived from logical reasoning. For example, "I like kids because they will carry on my genes and culture" is logic based, while "aw I like kids because they are so cute and fun" is emotion based. Or, "I like animals because they are less work and less expensive" is logical and "aww I love puppies, so cute and precious" is emoti…

Dating apps are draining. Most people are boring to talk to and low class. Lots of people flake. Many guys are unclear with their motives and could be trying to manipulate you. Wanting a SAHM mom isn't sexist (as long as she want it too and you're not forcing her). This is sexist: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/xmde3c/daily_community_chat_megathread/ippxdv4?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3 Similarly, wanting a masculine working husband isn't sexist (as long he wants to do it and you're not forcing him). /r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 02:25 PM
2

Then why are you still upset at women? You're making the choice to go against gender roles just like them, and you're free to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 02:20 PM
2

Every SAHM I know cooks dinner and takes care of the kids. It's women who aren't SAHMs that don't wanna put up with social contract, and it's well within their right since they are now the breadwinner. Women realized having a job is more secure and rewarding than depending on men.

I would agree with only if being a part of society was a choice. You shouldn't be able to join an optional club then sabotage it. But, society is not a choice, you're forced to participate and you can't escape it. There's not one piece of land that's "society free" If they're gonna force you to join a club you don't wanna be in, then sabotage is your only option.

This is why I don't take men seriously when they talk about stopping dick shaming. Whenever they get the chance to actually treat the topic with some maturity, they blow it. So...? Again, it's not a structural bias that's gonna affect your ability to maintain yourself. It's just gossip. "oh, my ex had BDE" or "oh, my ex had a small dick." Give me a break. misattribution of arousal It's not a useful concept. "Stupid and boring" is dishonest phasing on your part. I was never…

You say that as if every liberal isn't on a personal crusade against racial and gender biases. If they see someone being discriminatory, they'll call it out hard and fast. Are you gonna do that when you hear bias against small dick thanks to this new insight? Do you think studying all psychological biases is a waste of time? Genital biases are a waste of time. If someone was studying labia and personality, I would find it just as much of a sign of a degenerate, sex-obsessed society with nothing …

So you're gonna use this information to educate women and men about dick bias? Because I have a strong feeling you're never gonna talk about this to anyone ever again, especially not real life women.

A lock that can be opened by many keys is a bad lock because the purpose of a lock is to keep your shit safe. A woman that can be opened by many dick does not have your shit inside her to keep safe. The fact it is bad that she was unlocked is purely psychological fluff.

It's a lot like n count. Affects pair-bonding, affects how they treat/view you now vs how they treated/viewed women in the past, creates bitterness and anxiety, less trust, less romance, too much emphasis on sex, controlling and obsessive behavior, insecurity, etc. Pretty much all the red flags you pick up on when men here post about their views on women. Women are silly bandit, you ought to know that. Although I will say, women's dating benefits only apply to a somewhat free dating market. That is, post feminism and pre agricultural revolution. When patriarchal, military, and religious laws are in place, men have the upper hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:54 PM

Yep. Males need to meet a higher standard than females in order to be deemed a good quality mate. Consequence of our reproductive design.

If you wanna convince me of something, you need to provide convincing evidence. I'm not gonna go out to the world wide web to make a case for your arguments.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:43 PM
3

Yeah I believe it. There's 5 inches between the average woman and the average man. That means women are looking for a man at least a 5 inch taller than her for her to feel like she got a good deal. The 5'6 guy is only adequately tall for women 5'1 and shorter. Which make up 12% of the population. Implying he is too short for 88% of women.... I was giving the kinder numbers with 45% lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:39 PM
4

Women largely refuse to date anyone shorter than them. 30% of women are taller than our 5'6 guy. That's already 3 in 10 women out of the game. Women largely don't like to date someone the same height as them. That's an additional 15% of women in iffy territory for our 5'6 guy. There are very few variables that will instantly hurt or knock out 45% of your dating prospects. Heigh is a very big variable. Obviously there are others, but you're underplaying the importance of height here.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:29 PM
5

Other people don't say it, but we all notice it. 5'6 guy will be rejected by more women than the 5'8 guy on the basis of his height.

Tldr is parents (especially women) who make their kid's lives and stories about them. Essentially think female toxicity applied to motherhood. /r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:49 AM

You're saying two different things here. One, that it is meaningless Two, that it is not spiritual Not all meaning is spiritual so these are not equivalent concepts. I'm arguing against number one. I don't believe in "spirits and souls" so obviously I think number two is bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:48 AM
3

Link to examples?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:45 AM
2

But why do you care? It's not your problem, it's not your choice, not your life. The fact other people get outraged is just another episode of sexual control. People love to judge the sex lives of others and demand they meet their personal standards. If that guy wants to whine that his girl is getting dicked but not do anything about it, be my guest.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:43 AM
1

It is meaning. Sex has a purpose, create new life. We have sex, lizards have sex, insects have sex, plants have sex. Sexual reproduction is billions of years old. To call it meaningless pleasure is a rather silly and new concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:39 AM

I've never heard of any of those lol Ruby Tuesdays was another one that we would go to a lot, I loved their mashed potatoes. And Corner Bakery that had an amazing carbonara. I do feel like I remember restaurants being better when I was a kid than today too lol.

You're thinking of Meganeura, which is not a dragonfly. But size isn't a big deal anyways, genetically. We go from Standard poodles to toy poodles in what, a few hundred years?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 06:53 PM

Dragonflies because they are perfect creations, just like me. Nature's most accurate predator, practically unchanged since they evolved 200 million years ago, and one of the first organisms to fly

Yes and yes. I don't like skyscraper cities. I looked at all the poor chaps moving to NYC after we graduated and felt nothing but pity for their years to be wasted in Piss & Percs central. My ideal living place is a smaller city with an "antique" feel which is surrounded by deep wilderness, like Portland, Maine or somewhere in Colorado. And in a house, touching grass.

To me, my empathy depends on the individual. Some guys have an entitled take on relationships (especially the ones who are obsessed with passing down their genes and having a white picket fence, and see the woman as a byproduct of their true desire). Some guys are genuinely good fellas who just want love and I feel they do " deserve " a good lady by their side.

Not quite, I think people deserve what they get. If you're weak so you got exploited, you deserved it. If you're strong so you get to exploit others, you deserved it. These are, to me, logical statements. Now, to the topic at hand, the logical statement says that to advocate for complacency is to deserve to get exploited. My response was, why someone would advocate for that. Do you want to be weak? You're supposed to want to climb up into strength. OP was essentially saying, women should be comp…

I disagree with your perspective of what it means to be dragged down. You're playing tennis with an opponent. Your opponent practices and improves. That's fair, they pulled themselves up. Your opponent releases a scandal about you to take away your funding. That's unfair, that's dragging you down.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 03:07 PM
1

You are basically forcing husain bolt to finish in the same position with the worst runner. This is an awful analogy lol You dont pull women up by hiring women even though there are guys who are more qualified but you have a diversity quota to fill. Women are as qualified. Women are excelling and outperforming men in school, we are as qualified to work office jobs as men. Instead of crying that women are getting scholarship, why don't you and your fellow men go make a scholarship for disadvantag…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 03:05 PM

Providing better information and advice to young men is a great way to improve their situation without dragging down women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 02:57 PM

That is pulling women up. Anything less than about 50% women in education or non-physical / non-gendered careers means women have been historically dragged down If equality feels like men being dragged down, that's only because your perspectives of fairness is twisted because you've grown accustomed to privilege. There have been studied that show something like, when there are less that 50% women in an area, men think it's normal. When there are 50% women, they think there's too many women. How …

But it's not gonna happen because men never make an organized effort to pull up men. Too much pride. They only ever make an organized effort to drag down women. Which, women have built up an excellent defense against in the 21st.

I need to cut my hair every month, which is stressful, not fun because I could mess it up. And I still need to brush and shampoo. When I hate long hair, it was maybe an extra few minutes of brushing a week. Those few minutes probably add up to the time I spend cutting it. Plus getting your haircut is usually an enjoyable social experience No, I don't like it. It's expensive and they often get it wrong, which is why I do it myself now.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/22 10:26 PM

Long hair isn't more work than short hair. Yes, it takes longer to brush and you need to spend more money on shampoo, but you also rarely need to worry about cutting it and/or spend money to have it cut. Meanwhile, the shorter the hair, the more routine cutting is needed.

And that letter is R / L which actually are somewhat related letters as they have been switched over linguistic evolution. I think silver is the most boring car color lol. I do love dark grey though. And I think black gets dirty too easily. Black is also really shiny/mirrored so it can be difficult to see the inner contour lines of the car, which are a shame to hide in such a beautiful vehicle. That being said, matte black doesn't have either of those issues so I find it quite beautiful. But they never make original paints in matte so...

I don't care what men on here scream, and I do not care that they feel they aren't getting enough sex. I see that as pure entitlement. I also strongly feel governments should not instill a 1 child policy. The most they should do is make BC widely available to those who want it, and educate people on reproduction. I am just sharing my disgust on women with many kids. I am not demanding change.

Human life happens after childhood, human FORMATION happens largely during childhood. The way you raises your child, the environment they are exposed to along with your genes, will dictate almost everything about the rest of their existence. The weight and gravity of that does not seem to land on people, especially not those who have many kids. Those types tend to see it as a fun, happy, natural little thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 09:17 PM

Thank you! I agree, Aussies are very, very beautiful animals. Second only to huskies and malamutes, imo. But I specifically love their personalities. /r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 09:15 PM

No, lot of people like children. I like children, they are cute and fun to talk to. Few people want to be pregnant for 27 months plus, than raise a total of 54 years plus between all the new humans you created. And saying you're doing all of that to have a lot of people serve you in old age is extra weird, you're not helping your case lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 09:12 PM
2

You do know that a pregnancy fetish is where people talk about how much they wanna be pregnant and how much they love it? The association is right there, you can't act like I'm crazy for making it
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 09:08 PM

I would argue everything that follows is 100% human manufacturing. I believe that there are few things more fundamental to a human being than their experience in childhood

/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:48 PM

I legitimately feel a sort of disgust when women have more than 2 kids. The first time time, ok, you wanted a kid. The second time, ok, kids do well with a sibling. But the third time, wtf, do you like being pregnant? Why would you consent to that 3 times?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:40 PM
6

A little positivity about growing up since I've been so whinny. One of the best part of being an adult: You can buy and do the shit you've dreamed of as a kid. I got my dream dog, dream car, and I can travel wherever I want, whenever I want. You can match with a stranger and go hang out the next day. Honestly, worth the additional existential dread and responsibilities
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:19 PM

Being less attractive does not necessarily make you kinder, smarter, more interesting, a better partner, etc. While y'all men seem to understand this when it comes to women, the mental gymnastics start when it comes to men. Let's stop pretending that hot men are all dumb jerks and shitty boyfriends.

If gravity is just a theory, why don't you just float away? -Tim Minchin Edit actually this is his quote "But evolution is only a theory!” Which is true. I mean, it is only a theory, it’s good that they say that. I think, it gives you hope, doesn’t it? That… that maybe they feel the same way about the theory of gravity, and they might just float the fuck away.

It's not about your "place" in the dating market, it's about your moral inconsistency (hypocrisy). You men judge woman for being too appearance oriented and having high standards, when really you do the exact same shit
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 04:34 PM
2

Yeppo, the irony and hypocrisy could not be greater. Give them long enough and the dudes who cry "I just want an average-looking woman, but their standards are too high" and "I just want a kind woman, but there are none left" ... will eventually expose themselves in this way.

I use bmi as a guideline. Like, you can't know my muscle composition from my BMI of 23.5, but you can at least have an idea that I'm not a whale and I'm not a skeletor I agree that for the medical industry, they should have a better measure. At the same time, I see those giant obese people complain about BMI and I'm like, dude, no matter how you measure it, you're fat lol. For myself, there's not much reason to measure my body composition via machine because my eyeballs can see that I have extra…

Badness and sadness are by definition, conventionally undesirable. "Bad guys" die at the end, "good guys" marry the princess. The fact that there's a population that women who like that just means that it's a worthwhile niche. It's kinda funny that you're trying to invalidate the niche I presented just because you know it is indeed successful, and there's probably less supply than demand. Tbh this led me to a little theory that women have more diverse tastes in male personalities, while men have…

Infinite niches. Every famous male character out of movies, books, even songs exploits a niche, writers are very good at creating those sorts of enticing beings.

What advice was it?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 03:12 PM

Nah that's my point. She's a fat outlier but not any kind of personality or behavior outlier. In those regards, she's an average woman BUT, she exploited the fat niche by being a fat outlier, and so she's getting attention she wouldn't be getting otherwise by people who like that niche

Generalizations are useful for the society, not for the individual in the market
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 02:27 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 02:21 PM

It doesn't even have to be more than enough for most. It can be for just some, a few. It doesn't matter, since you're only looking for one other individual, not to maximize your harem

generalized conclusions about the dating market arent actually that helpful for individuals, since the individual can operate context of outliers and extremes just as they can operate in the context of the average. as long as individuals exploit a niche while also being part of (the same or a different niche), you can eventually find what you want. the issue arises when someone is part of no niche. They allow themselves to be undistinguishable from the average in every possible meaningful way. S…

For sure. You should watch Cidade de Deus, Central do Brasil, and maybe Tropa de Elite. The first one is the most famous movie of Brazilian theatre. But Central do Brasil is my favorite. I feel myself tearing up just thinking about it. Don't even read the movie summaries, just dive right in. I promise you won't regret it. Tropa de Elite is more of an action movie. Still very good, but the things you'll learn from it are similar to Cidade de Deus. As for books, I'm not a big reader but I did read…

You're asking why people don't wanna work hard. It's because our corporate slave jobs suck. You're asking why we don't start our own businesses. It's because we don't have the financial means. No one wants to live like kings. We want to own a home and a car, be able to afford a hobby we enjoy, and have days off. Which is asking for too much nowadays even though our parents and grandparents had it.

the person in a successful LTR might not know how to get a successful LTR at 30, but at least they know how to get a successful relationship The other person doesn't even know how to get a successful relationship. So their advice is entirely useless for someone looking for a successful LTR. The former understands the principles of success, you need to fine tune them to your situation. The latter knows nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 08:32 PM

Hm, not sure how that logic would make sense considering their definitions "Pansexuality is sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others." "Bisexual - sexually attracted not exclusively to people of one particular gender; attracted to both men and women."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 08:26 PM
2

Youre making a false comparison. It would be a 30yo who had a ton of jobs, or a 30yo who's only had one job, which he got at 18. By making one of the options 12 years younger, you're artificially making him the worse option by design. They both need to be the same age, but one had a ton of jobs he couldn't hold down, and the other had one successful job. And yes, I'd rather take advice from the latter.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 08:14 PM
2

If my goal is to apply for 10 jobs then leave all of them, the first person. If my goal is to find one job for life, then the second person. When it comes to dating, I believe fewer, high-quality partners is better.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 08:06 PM

Pansexual just assumes gender isn't binary. Men, women, and others. Bi is just men and women. So pan automatically includes bi.

So, the genes of people stuck in poverty for multiple generations has nothing to do with their poverty? What? And the studies showing a racial correlation with intelligence test/IQ performance are all bad science? It's actually an ethnic correlation. Ethnicities are packages of genes, found throughout all the chromosomes. Race is just skin color, determined by 150 genes that have nothing to do with G-factor genes.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 05:43 PM
1

It doesn't matter if it does, because each person is an individual. There is no genetic linkage between skin color and violent tendencies. Skin color is determined by over 150 genes. Aggression is determined by 40 genes (complex trait, probably a lot more involved). These genes are not all right next to each other on the chromosome (like, say, freckles and red hair, which are linked genes), so they can easily be separated. Claiming that an individual who has 150 genes that make their skin dark m…

Racism is stereotyping people. Unfounded prejudice against someone solely based on their color. If someone is failing at life and happens to be black, then I think they are likely a genetic inferior. If someone is succeeding at life and happens to be black, then I think they are a genetic superior. You can try your hardest to phrase that as racism but that is the opposite of unfounded prejudice. That is simply seeing people for what they are, regardless of their race Remember when MLK said "judg…

For a simple example, the difference between "I do exercise. I go to the gym, I go several times a week. I like to do cardio because it helps me when I play soccer." And "I do exercise. I've noticed it helps my mental state, I can direct the frustration I feel into the exercise and benefit from it" One is fact-based, something you could find out if you just observed the person. The other is refection-based, you could only find out that information by talking to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:57 PM

Have you considered that maybe he is a broken person because of his "original thoughts"? For sure. I think it goes both ways. The more you think about life, the more it fucks you up. The more it fucks you up, the more you think about about life. Thus ignorance is bliss. So are you looking for an "original" man, or a good man? I'm looking for an interesting person to burn some time with

I'm saying we obsess over (discuss at length) the importance of good looks, but they are more common / easier to find in a man. It's not a big achievement for a woman to get an attractive partner. Meanwhile, getting a rich man is far less common and thus a big achievement for a woman. It's like seeing everyone scramble over a pile of silver coins and leave the gold coins untouched

Men can also be used, just like sex toys. But you're not gonna say a virgin man is the most desirable, because to you that analogy doesn't make sense. And why not compare women with a horse? A horse that has never been broken is worth a lot less than a tame horse that's been ridden many times. These analogies are all worthless. You can pick any two options and just compare them to pretend you're making a good argument that really just confirms your existing biases.

Why are they "pretending not to care" if they genuinely care? If they cared, they'd realize that knowing or not knowing does not change the reality. If an obese lady never steps on the scale to find out her weight, is she really 300lb? Fucking yes, yes she is. Not knowing your partner's n-count means you're okay with the possibility that it's high, as long as that possibly is less than 100% (i.e. she tells you truth) A person who genuinely cared would need there to be an 100% chance that it's no…

You made an analogy. Analogies require there to be sufficient similarities between the two subjects in question - in this case, women and sex toys - for the common line of logic - in this case, "you wouldn't want them second hand" - to make sense I'm saying, there are not sufficient similarities. Women are nothing like sex toys. So your common line of logic does not apply.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 04:33 PM
3

It's the difference between a shallow display of caring and genuine caring. If you want to be ignorant about something you claim to care about, you're more concerned with the display. Like virtue signaling. "I care so much about fighting against racism" "Oh great, are you doing anything about it?" "No. I don't even want to learn about it."
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/22 04:25 PM
