These discrepancies have often been shown to have many causes, such as: Men working longer hours Men seeking positions with higher pay at the expense of more favourable jobs, better benefits and time off, etc. Men taking less time out of the workforce to care for children And so on. Shouldn't they REWARD universities that have fewer or no rapes?This is what irks me. Even if we decided that "regret sex" was immoral and should be made illegal, why would we lump it with "rape"? It doesn't make people take it more seriously, it just trivializes violent rapes which SHOULD carry a harsher punishment.
