When the cops did show up, she tried to tell them I was violent by showing them the bruises on her wrists. She often had bruised wrists from me restraining her when she was punching into me.. the cops aren't stupid.

My ex wife was a bit of a psycho. I had 3 black eyes in the last 3 years. I was always protecting the kids from her. She had told me several times that if I left, she would make sure I never saw the kids. Long story short, one night she gets drunk, gets in the mood for a fight, I don't react, she ups the stakes and chases me with a knife. Our daughter calls the cops, she tries to fight with them when they turn up. They take her away. That was 2 years ago. I have only spoken to her a few times in…

My wife was taken away by the police for trying to stab me, (after a long abusive relationship). I was left with 3 kids that wanted nothing to do with her, she wasn't allowed back to the family home. When things went to court, she threw so much shit. I had to do supervised urine screening because she alleged I was using meth

I agree, I don't use violence, threats or intimidation against anyone. And I have been in a long abusive relationship, and have had a few black eyes. At any time , while I was being physically abused, I could've snapped & caused her heaps more injury than what she was dishing out to me, but that would've made me just as bad as her.

Nobody gave her the reaction she wanted, so she kept upping the stakes. This ended in her chasing me with a knife. My 16 yo daughter called cops, who turned up at the right time. It's been 2 years now. My youngest daughter (who was 6 at the time), spends every second weekend with her mum. She has asked me why she can't have a week with m…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
