Yup. I got into a first relationship at the age of 27. It’s been hard for me to adjust after being alone for so long and not having to adapt.

In the same breath women will complain how objectified they feel.

Exactly. I’ve no problem talking about my or other men’s issues. However, I can see people infer it as an insecurity. Especially women since it’s a projection of how they themselves function. For example, I hit my toe today just where it hurts the most. I grunted for a while and my family already started telling me how sensitive I am. There’s not a single thing I could say to communicate how much pain I was actually in. Because anything other than “shut up and suffer” would make them think I’m i…

It might not be a real person with human thoughts but in the end does it matter? If it can mimics a person well enough it can be anyone. You could just teach a model similar to chatGPT to interact like a person you want.

There’s two things that come to my mind. First one is the amount of energy the average man has to invest today to find someone. You can’t be just doing your own thing and hope a woman will fall into your lap. There’s more hobbies than just yachting and partying around or starting crypto businesses. Most of them won’t passively attract women so you have to actually go out and find one. Second one is that it’s very easy for someone who’s been in a relationship to be telling someone who’s not been …

It kind of proves your point because mostly what I see is women (or some men) making it out to be white or black. As if SAHM or 402 is the only type men know. That’s why we are where we are. Can’t say that you want a wife who does laundry because then you’re automatically misogynistic. When reality (for me personally) would be she does laundry and I cook for example. But because we aren’t allowed to communicate this and because some men are morons there’s a growing number of women like the one i…

They won’t agree because that would mean that they’re not in control of their emotions. However, men might not control their emotions but it certainly affects us. If she’s not in a good mood, you better be very careful. I can also say that I did not realize the extent to which it affects us until I got into a romantic relationship. Despite having mostly female friends my entire life.

I’m glad we agree on both.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 10:57 AM

He did say “most” not “all” women. I agree with you that what OP said applies mainly to romantic relationships. Women may not realize it but once you’re in a romantic relationship the man is responsible for her emotions.

From the other perspective. I find it absolutely disgusting that men are just resources for the female gaze and exploitation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 10:40 AM

Since your comment is in good faith and actually well written I’ll add another common theme I’ve noticed. This one is also more personality specific and limited to household. If the man took on half the workload, the women would just raise the bar. Like a competition. “You vacuumed the floor? Well I scrubbed the floor with a toothbrush.” Though men probably do similar stuff in other areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 10:35 AM

Another aspect that everyone fails to notice is the practical aspect of living as a couple. Modern women complain how much housework they do for men. Reality is that if they were alone, they would still have to do most of that housework… without the benefit of another pay check. What also seems to be happening is brainwashing. Yes, there are cases where the man does not contribute equally. But this has been turned into such a circlejerk that women believe this as the absolute truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/23 10:27 PM

A very common theme I’ve noticed is women taking on responsibility that no one ever asked them to and then complain about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/23 10:02 PM

I fully agree. Sometimes it even feels like it’s better to be an asshole than a genuinely good man. Simply because when you do slip up, as we all do sometimes, women will go “aha! I knew it. He’s just as bad as the rest of them.” Also on the privilege part. Women aren’t aware how liberating it is to always have a safety net to fall back on, if you ever fail. They can, almost on demand, find a mediocre man willing to take care of them.

In the context of relationships I think men are just more straight forward. If I want or need something, I’ll just say it. While with women half of the value is lost, if they have to say that they want something. That is if they know at all what they want. In the end it all comes down to attention, food, sex and face/status.

Figuratively speaking… who knows what went on in their heads but some people just don’t get the hint.

This sounds so sad. If I could, I would slap all of those men for you just to wake them up to reality. My story is kind of similar except different role. My entire life I wanted one of my many crushes to go “f*** it, I’ll let him impress me”. Not a single one of them went even the slightest bit out of their way to give me an actual chance.

Zoomers are a weird generation and I say this as one of the youngest millenials. Weird in terms of social norms. I think approaching IRL has something to do with the rise of social media platforms. Women are bombarded with male attention and reject men sooner. Which turned dating for men into a pure numbers game. So if approaching IRL was normal that would mean women being approached IRL several times daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 08:07 AM

I’d say that majority of women want almost full control without being dominant.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 07:49 AM

However dumb you think it is it’s still something compared to what women creators make. Sitting in half naked in front of a camera is just selling your body for money. There are some but very few exceptions among women that create amazing content.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 07:24 AM

Because the 25-34 women can just find an older man that can make it possible for them to move out. Simple as that.

If we start playing this game… men could start wearing platform shoes, clothes that make them buff, wigs and maybe someone can come up with other ideas. It would just have to become socially acceptable. The problem is that it’s all just a lie.

In simple terms. Men do a lot of stuff for women. You can see this by just looking at spending. Men are very happy with very little. Even many billionaires live frugal lives. On the other hand, you have most women spending as much as they can for things they don’t need.

It’s fully on her what man she wants to accept into her life. I’m sure she could easily find a man desperate enough to make her the center of his universe. The question is whether she would be with such a guy.

Hooking up with a doctor or a psychiatrist tells us absolutely nothing other than it corroborates a mainstream consensus among men that women overvalue themselves based on the men that would sleep with them. OP should have given a description of the 5 lowest rated men that she’s slept with. I do wonder if there’s any heavily overweight short blue collar workers.

Yes, you’re right. There’s people who can’t just lose weight. Either way, both discipline or genetics signal something is wrong with that person.

The problem is that they can’t take the truth themselves. There’s enough double standards as it is. If they start telling the truth, then they also have to allow us to tell them the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 08:07 PM

But a lot of women judge recklessly. It’s also a positive feedback loop. Of course the guy getting a hookup everyday is going to be more confident than the guy who got rejected a 100 times. Drawing confidence from your self-assuredness is one of the most difficult things to achieve. But it’s a fine line between being cocky.

Yup, I think everyone is too much focused on the destination while forgetting about enjoying the journey. On all fronts. You often see mentality “you should try to get the best you can”. Yes exactly. Context matters. A lot. 90% of about hundred amazing women I got to know personally through work or hobbies were in a stable relationship. I also only brought it up because the question was asked about past relationships. I can not think of a single way to answer this question without raising a red flag, if you’ve had no relationship experience as a man in his 20s. I haven’t found the right one yet? Picky. Why? I can tell you that I’ve genuinely been chronically unlucky. I didn’t do cold approaches or been a huge party goer. I’ve tried meeting new people through several extracurricular activities. All it got me is way too many female acquaintances who are in a relationship. There were a few (5-7) who I did feel they could be attracted to me but I wasn’t attracted to them. “The wall” is a realization that simply existing isn’t enough anymore. One reason is female youth, the second one is male maturity. A woman in her 20s can go on a dating app and get herself into a decent relationship of her own pick without lifting a finger. If you want, you’ll find simps who will worship you as a goddess. In your 30s relationships become much more practical rather than just pure romance. Even most simps mature out of it. For women this means they actually have to start putting …

Well I don't have any experience in that department. Mainly because I either surrounded by women or men who respect women. One thing I would disagree with is that women are more objectified than ever. I say that since women in the past couldn't even vote or have other freedoms.

Except he literally said the biggest casualties of the obesity epidemic are dudes who can't fuck as many thin women as they want. But good job trying to deflect from OPs egregious remarks. I'll repeat myself again. Nowhere does he mention "fuck" which is a massive difference to "date". And again "biggest casualty" in respect to dating because this is a dating/relationship sub. First of all. Men 99.99% aren’t accepting… They’re the one’s asking. Secondly, your statement only really works for women. As a man you’re kind of forced to approach first and you already reveal your hand with that.

Each gender SHOULD choose better. That’s not to say there can’t be differences. Every average man who has tried OLD can tell you that he had to go through tens of women before he found one willing to be in a relationship. Now imagine you meet 30 women. Then 31st comes around who has some red flags but wants a relationship. You have the option of taking the deal or repeating the entire process. Then reverse the role. Depends what is important to you in life. I think satisfaction and being happy is quite a big priority. Western women wouldn’t be happy there because they’ve been brainwashed (same for men) that they can go to Mars, if they wish so and work enough. People in the west have this insatiable need for more. Meanwhile saudi women are happy because they’re fulfilling their purpose very successfully while also being taken care of properly. The trade off is certain freedoms.

Sure let’s meet up, fuck and have a child after the first date… not. The entire point of starting in early 20s is that you have several years of time to vet a man before you actually have a child with him. Women say themselves that men pretend then turn out to be horrible. Then why do they have a child with them after a year of being with them…

I wouldn’t call myself any pill. I have mostly female friends and have trouble communicating with men. Some female friends I would agree to sleep with, some I wouldn’t because I’m not attracted to them. I would never suggest it though and don’t even feel the need to suggest it. But I would never be just friends with someone I initially had a romantic interest in.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 10:00 PM

I think your 6th paragraph has an extremely important point. If you’re expecting your husband to have equal responsibilities taking care of the child, then you have to let him make his own decisions. Just one example that I think is quite common. The husband leaves the child to cry, while making sure it’s nothing serious. The mom gets upset for the child, starts soothing him/her and scolds her husband for it.

I don’t think anyone (or at least most men) shame women for depending on a man for stability. If you provide something of value besides yourself. What a woman should do in her early to mid 20s is find a man who is willing to share the burden of raising a child. Except many women overlook such men because they’re usually of average build, average salary, not selfish, have not mastered the art of seduction and dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 07:44 PM

This sounds more like something women would do. Men are way more direct. Men compete by trying to impress the woman or through simping as the previous commenter said.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 09:48 AM

That’s because both of them are exploiting each other in such a relationship. It’s not an equal partnership. She has him for money and status. He has her for screwing around and looks. Neither of them are getting anything of actual value.

I do work in a high school. I worked in an elementary school for a year with 13-14 y.o. students. It’s a small sample (about 8) but those girls were amazing to work with. I did not notice much difference between how girls and boys interacted with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:48 PM

I asked specifically because of the first part of your reply. I’ve been alone well into my mid 20s despite wanting a partner my entire life. It’s been a struggle adapting to having a first relationship after years of not having to answer to anyone.

I doubt any female students thinking process is “I’ll wear this red shirt so the teacher will give me one grade higher.” But I used that example because it’s much easier to convey my point through text than trying to explain the tone they sometimes try to use to talk to me. Especially when I know how they normally talk and sound. Later I did remember that hair flicks could also have been a good example.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 08:02 AM

See, the word “harassed”. I could also say that my female students “harass” me when they’re using their sexuality to extort better grades or other favors from me. It’s not as direct as when men hit on someone but it is not pleasant to the receiver. Furthermore, I can not point it out to my female students that their behavior is inappropriate since it’s so subtle they could easily play dumb and deny it. Not only that but maybe even turn it around to portray me as the culprit.

How are women better communicators when not a single one could communicate a single annoying behavior? Also, how is it less drama when women are the main consumers of drama and the best entertainment in reality shows? Yup, exactly. How are you supposed to compete when there's thousands of men throwing money, attention and whatever else at women just so they recognize their existance for a mere second. Abortion and birth control isn’t about avoiding responsibility it’s about acknowledging when bringing a child into the world isn’t the right choice for you and choosing not to raise a child that wouldn’t be tended to in the way children need. I’d argue this is one of the most responsible decisions an adult can make. This doesn't help at all. No one is saying women shouldn't be allowed to have abortions. Well extremes are definitely pushed by men. Most women want a fit tall guy. But the phenomenon of having to be a 6’7 tower of muscle is propagated by men. Similarly, most men want a woman who takes care of herself so she has a nice skin and is well dressed. But caking on makeup to the point where they’re unrecognizable is pushed by women themselves. Looks do matter a lot. I would say 80% is looks. Rest is money and personality. Simply because being good looking completely alters your reality sin…

Why don’t we just extract semen from Elon Musk, or similar alpha males, and use it to impregnate all women who want a child? The reality is that historically most men died or were enslaved before they could procreate. The reality is that social factor in mankind plays a much more important role in raising a child than people attribute it. I’m not saying every man should have a wife. But before you start talking about a solution you have to recognize there is a problem.

You don’t even have to read a history book. There’s a lot of cases where a man kills their own partner, if they’re trying to leave them. This doesn’t happen because the man was mentally stable and happy.

There's a lot of factors. For one, just look at the amount of socially accepted, if not even required, options women have to improve their looks. While I do agree with you, as most people will, I do not understand why this discussion is needed. The bigger problem is that most men are average. Many of them are good men who don’t even get an opportunity to develop socially. There’s too much talk of compensating when we should be talking about investment.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 12:06 PM

A bit of a different take. There’s more to life than just sex. While we really do want sex most men aren’t willing to shape their entire life around this activity. Building a good stable relationship takes effort as a regular dude. So any man with a brain will recognize it’s not worth the additional hassle and risk. When it comes to men with options. It’s easy for them to switch women on a regular because they don’t invest anything in them.

Now substitute this 52 year old woman with a 30 year old man. There would be hordes of women mocking this man for living at home in his 30s. There is no shortage of women on reddit who would be calling him a child for not doing chores or knowing how to cook.

That’s very ignorant. Firstly, nothing implies that she’s happy. Also, you can be happy but unfulfilled. Secondly, it’s easy for women (or men) to make themselves happy or at least convince themselves. It’s much more difficult for someone else to make you happy.

Well it’s very simple actually. RP is offering a solution to men in the form of an idiot proof recipe. You put effort into yourself, which is fully under your control, and you’ll have more success. If nothing else, it boosts your confidence due to “I got this now” mentality. It’s just a self-fulfilling prophecy after that. RP just sprinkles some primitivism and toxicity on top.

“The wall” isn’t that much about men’s perception of women. It’s more about women coming to a realization that life is about to become real for them. There’s no magic that turns someone ugly the moment they hit 30. But that first wrinkle you notice… it’s not going away. A smile might not get you anything you want all the time and there is barely anything you can do to reverse that. Women at that age are still attractive but you know that time is ticking fast.

Regarding point 4., I would say many man secretly wish their partner was ambitious, educated, respectable job, etc. We just don’t talk about it much because it’s hard to explain… too ambitious is bad (we don’t want a boss babe) as it comes with risks. For example more educated women are more likely to divorce at some point. Also we are more open about wanting attractive partners but that doesn’t mean the standard is a super model. Attractiveness also comes with health, body care and genetics. Th…

A friend of mine showed me her tinder. She received about 1k right swipes within 2 weeks. She’s average looking at best. That’s in a city of about 200k people. Now make a decision who to give your time. However, in the end they (women) still have almost full control over who they match with and continue interaction. Not much luck involved. As a man it’s almost all luck based.

Not really. While men often comment and talk about celebrities, models and other attractive women, we don't really imagine ourselves being in a relationship with them. We don't really approach them either.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 11:41 AM

I've been saying women have overvalued themselves while men are undervalued. Like it or not but we live and work to reproduce or to leave a legacy of some form. So decoupling "sexual market" value from labour market is absurd. If men can't exchange their money for sex at a fair rate, then why participate in the economy? (money/sex in a more abstract sense)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 11:28 AM

My point is that it seeps into the real world anyway. Women are equipped with all the ammo to label a most passive statement made by a man as misogyny. For example “I don’t need no man. Internet told me single women are the happiest.” It’s not something you discuss casually. It’s something that comes out as a propellant to accelerate mild conflicts into raging fires. I’m sure you could identify similar phenomena with men.

Because most of the dating age women are online. Because a lot of it is in women’s mainstream circles - just today there was a full front page misandrist post in the women’s sub. Because a lot of it is leaking into the real world.

But she is in full control. I would even argue that every single woman without a serious deformity could find a decent man within a week on OLD. Reading through all the celebrity names here I fully agree with you. Firstly because we don’t know them, as you said. Secondly because these men don’t have to lift a finger to get a dozen women within a day. Almost all men won’t be in such a situation ever.

You’re coming from a wrong perspective. As a woman you can just exist and some man will see value in you. It’s different as a man. You can be a billionaire and no one will see value in you, if you can’t project it. It very much depends what social media is used for. If the woman has to post a story every day, that’s a huge red flag to me. It signals that the motivation behind her actions, needs or wants isn’t self fulfilling. Then you’re just competing with yourself for the next big thing to show. For example I have a friend who posts having breakfasts in the forest… why can’t you just enjoy the nature?

Even for those women it’s mostly on them how they handle the relationship. If they’re not too demanding of their partner, then the man will usually stay with them. I think that the amount of nagging a partner is willing to take is correlated with the woman’s attractiveness. For example, if you’re unattractive the man probably won’t feel like listening to your drama every day.

It’s also become so much more pervasive throughout our culture with the rise of social media. Some gen Z girl told me that they used “submissive and breed-able” as a compliment in high school. It’s also very noticeable among women on forums such as this one. The main consensus among women seems to be “men want women just for sex” which plays right into your statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 12:47 AM

Yep. Casual sex was present before and it’s not going away no matter how much women cheer on “no more sex until men better themselves”. What’s really happening is no more sex until an experienced narcissist or abuser tricks them into hooking up. On the other hand good guys are stuck trying to navigate a minefield. It’s so frustrating when women try to turn every statement into an attack on them. So it’s just a matter of time before you’re classified as misogynist.

Since you clearly did not understand my point and backed up the misandrist I was replying to I'll double up. Women are a burden on themselves. Men really are the clowns. Women have full control over their own dating experience. As a man you’re affected by masses of desperate men showering women with too much attention. Because the average woman constantly has tens of orbiters who court tens of other women your only option is to adapt the same strategy.

Except many women are recklessly jumping into bed with random players but will reject a guy for lack of experience. The tolerance I’m talking about is to actually do what you’re preaching - vet the guy before fucking him. I can tell you from experience that at some point I wasn’t even sure how to hug anymore. My confidence sky rocketed when I started dating my girlfriend. The only reason for that is that she just went with our first typical interactions (kissing, touching, etc) despite a bit of …

It’s not all about sex. Men want to feel wanted and needed more than having sex. If it was just that, it is easy to get off by yourself. What we want is a little bit more tolerance from women and actually be open to pair-bonding. Rather than reject men because you don’t feel fireworks the moment you see them.

To think that humans aren’t driven by a biological desire to reproduce is a delusion. Society constantly rewards people for useless things. The main goal of these useless things is to appease society. Musk publicly bragging about his success is a completely selfish act. I think a lot of it also has to do with our instant gratification culture. Women with hundreds of options shoved down their throat aren't really willing to invest more than a few text lines of effort into a single person. Is this an idea propagated mainly by men or women? I believe that if a woman wants to have sex, she will sleep with any man she finds sexually very attractive regardless of other qualities. You completely missed the point. Which is... having masses of sexually frustrated men is a very dangerous thing for women. What you're not allowing men to do is exactly what many women are saying they want. "I want an emotionally available man", "I want my man to be changing diapers", etc. The reality is that most of those women are really repulsed by men willing to do that for them. Men feel that they're being misled and deprived of their needs. This can (or rather is) lead down a very dark pat…

A friend of mine broke up with a good partner of almost 10 years. She started dating a literal red flag. She almost unfriended me when I warned her about it - very early on. He dumped her quite fast after. You can't expect the same from all humans. Some are just assholes.

Such an amazing take. The last part encapsulates the reality so well. Society changed 50 years ago when women made their revolution and refused traditional gender norms. It's about time for men to do the same. Women refused traditional gender norms but are not allowing men to do the same. At some point something or someone will come up that will rally all the lonely men to take what they want.

You are refusing to recognize that all the women had experienced 10+ years of life in their prime before deciding to finally settle down in their subprime. All of this accumulated experience negatively impacts her future relationships. Already just the comparison of her life before and now. Used to travel, party, not care or anything else fun she might've done. Now she's stuck with a child and this man she barely shares any memories with.

Yeah, exactly this. I’m not there yet. I still have hope for a fulfilling relationship with a woman. If I ever get to a point, where a woman can’t improve my life anymore, I’ll be contacting you I guess. We can go skiing, gaming or whatever hobbies we share :p

That is my life goal that I have been and am working towards. But the longer I’m left alone on this journey less I’m willing to let someone hop on just before the finish line. If I’m fully self-sufficient with a moderate amount of wealth in my mid 30s then I don’t really need to introduce someone new in my life anymore. Especially not someone who’s been screwing around in her 20s, now wants to settle down and only bring me responsibilities. Possibly even trouble and a high chance of heartbreak. …

It’s a really sad state of affairs and I think you’ve captured it amazingly. I’ve been alone my entire life despite my life goal being creating a family. I’ve almost done all the side quests (great job, stability, education, personality, etc.). A house is the only thing missing. My family is the only support I ever got. Now, if I’ve managed to achieve all of that by the age of around 35 all by myself. Why would I be wanting to commit to a single woman, who contributed nothing, when I’m in one of…

I've almost no male friends and a lot of female friends. Some purely platonic (even attractive ones), some I wouldn't mind romantic if they showed little interest and some I keep at a distance. I've also joined many groups and wasted a lot of time where 90% of women were taken. I'm not a party guy so I defaulted to Tinder. I've had some moderate success over text. I've had some nice dates after that but even the women that seemed to make a connection ultimately put me in the friend category. Now…

Conservative women have no concept of alpha fucks beta bucks, as they give the stable guy full sexualization as well as romanticization. They seem to understand better that sometimes we have to play roles that are for mutual benefit not just one's own benefit. How about the spark? Plenty of men will complain about how women don't want to build attraction over time anymore and dispose of men if there's no initial attraction. I'll be one of the plenty. It's like women refuse to acknowledge needs of the average man. While simultaneously being fully aware what men, including nice guys, want. Except many women deny sex or other needs to guys who genuinely try to care about them as well. But they will crawl for a guy who treats them bad until he wants something. Personally, the amount of times I've had women (both friends and romantic interests) complain to me how bad they've been treated but at the same time they still entertain those guys while …

Yeah, exactly. I'm not denying standard masculine characteristics. Men (and women) should be active and stay as fit as possible. But as you say. Western culture takes these characteristics to an extreme. As if this is the only thing we live for... to go to the gym every day and do 2 hours of repetitive moves just to satisfy our primitive urges. This is constantly being advertised to all men and all women as if that's the only pinnacle of human achievement.

"Rarely make good partners" is a poor choice of words. I would say that whatever went on in people's childhood manifests in how they handle romantic relationships. Specifically because your family is your only point of reference how a family functions. You only know how your mom reacted in a heated argument with your dad. You’re right. There’s nothing unique because this “toxic masculinity” has always been present. It will continue being present because there’s nothing to gain for men NOT exhibiting masculine behavior and it’s better to go into the toxic extreme than show less masculinity. This is not me or men deciding. This is women collectively voting for this by disproportionately rewarding toxic men.

What I meant was that. Category 1 (fuckboys) could have Emma Watson ask them for marriage and they'll decline. Like Leo di Caprio - new girl every few years. There's just no way of tying them down. Category 2 (relationship guy) could have a street worker ask them for marriage and they'll actually consider it. Obviously it's not that black and white. Most men are in the gray area in between. having both If you're a side chick, that's just your fault.

You're misinterpreting me. I'm mad precisely because of that. Pleads for help from lonely men are being dismissed after society has disarmed them. Especially in favor of women. With this I'm not saying we should go back. Merely that women should make a step towards these men. Because you see, it's very difficult to feel loneliness while simultaneously paying for welfare of women who cannot make it on their own. There would be much less of that, if the women actually addressed this.

A female friend of mine made tinder after breaking up with her bf. She had more than a 1000 potential matches within a span of like 3 weeks. Barely had to lift a finger to get anything. She's great but at first sight she barely makes it into the average category (depends very much on preferences).

We don't take care of each other only on a personal level but also on a societal level. If there's any danger, I'm expected to sacrifice myself. At the very least I'm expected to pay for social services that disproportionately benefit reckless women. Would be nice if women carry some societal responsiblity as well. Not only for my personal gain but theirs as well. For one personalities like Andrew Tate probably wouldn't be as popular, if there weren't hordes of lonely men.

If you isolated three of the attributes: personality, looks and family-oriented. Personality would be the least important attribute to me and probably most men. Unfortunately. Do you have any male friends? What do they offer you? With friends expecations are usually quite clear. You enjoy each others company but it only works if both parties are investing somewhat equally. For example one round on me, on round on you. Same with romantic relationships or rather partnerships (since casual encounters aren't the same). We shouldn’t be even using the term “nice guy”. It plants this stereotypical idea into our minds that all men who act nice and respectful towards a woman will eventually lash out when rejected. Some men just want to play the long game but get dismissed because of the “nice guy” stereotype. Also, context is very important with emotions. Thank you for a wholesome reply. I think the only positive comment from the female perspective that I received. These are the qualities I would hope a woman has when meeting someone new. You know why pickup artists exist and are successful? Because their life revolves around swindling women at their own game. How many times have you said “I’m fine” to a guy while expecting him to give you his full attention? This is just a simple example. Most times it’s much more complex. What he’s trying to say is that it would be easier for women to be less punishing towards average men. Maybe even help them understand and in the future get a genuine desired behaviour. Average Anna is constantly being conditioned that getting plowed by studs is in her interest and will make her feel fulfilled in life. Specifically by posts like from this OP. Can I demand emotional support? I risk her leaving me at my weakest. I’ve had that happen to me. Can I demand from her to be more traditional? I’m sexist. Can I demand her submission? Makes me a jerk. I could demand splitting financial responsibilities. It’s not supposed to be a demand though because then I’m already altering her. It’s supposed to be an offering or a mutual agreement. I know that they can bring a lot. They just offer very little unless already well committed.

Obviously there are nuances to every person. However, talking about a generic man or a generic woman since that’s what I can expect when meeting someone new. What resources can I expect from a woman? Besides sex obviously. I could just pay for that. On the security part. Women highly undervalue that. Sure, I might not be beating someone up to protect her. Nowadays it’s more covert otherwise you wouldn’t have so many women complaining about being harassed or them having to make up imaginary men.

That’s the equality of modern women that bothers me. Yes women have jobs now, as many pointed out. What a surprise. At what point in a relationship do I find out, if it’s “our” money or I’m just an asset to her. Paying for food, housing, travel, etc.

Yes!!! I don’t expect to be worshipped. But if I make a step towards the opposite gender, as in allow them to explore the more masculine side, one would expect that they would at least let it balance out. Exactly! That’s what the point of my question was. It’s a sad reality of “modern” women, and women are aware of that. I know that relationship dynamics change over time. But at the beginning of a relationship I have no way of knowing, if I’m ever getting anything more than what you listed.
