what do you mean about dating options? do you mean like in the general group of people you might date (age, gender, proximity, etc) feel like they don't need to put in any effort? while that absolutely sucks, there's probably a lot of reasons why that might be. classism for instance might convince people that they're like, above their partner and therefore don't have to put in any effort. even people that feel like the most attractive person in the world might think they're the perfect catch and…

fair enough then! the thing is i wouldn't ever want it to be 50/50 because not everyone identifies as either a man or a woman. but in general, the more voices and influence from all sorts of folks, and not just through the lens of gender, the more balanced our society might become. if any change happened suddenly though, there would probably be a ton of friction from a wide range of people, haha. i'm so interested in how things might change in this way if younger generations that are more identi…
