You're approaching this from the wrong angle: people are having trouble being in committed relationships. Partially due to a failure of our society to foster genuine healthy relationships. These get stressed by financial concerns which is the reason why a majority of divorces actually occur. Good suggestion. First thing they should recommend is an inventory of time she spends on chores. Not stuff like "running the washing machine: 1.5 hours" but "sorted laundry: 20 min, loaded and starting washing machine: 5 minutes.". Funny how quickly people change their attitude when they have to account. If they don't approach it fairly then that is a whole other issue.

Supreme Court decisions are law. Judges make laws for their jurisdiction all the time. There are ways for Supreme Court decisions to be overturned by Congress, usually with the President but not always. This is true for most controversies. There is a strange loop between the Supreme Court and Congress on overriding laws. Supreme Court can prevent laws from Congress, however Congress can modify the framework which the Supreme Court relies on to make decisions.

Boards of 5 require 2 women and 6 or more require at least three. Effectively this mandates near a 50-50 split, especially when your consider they gave a 100K fine for the first violating & 300K for each additional violation. Would be great having more qualified people being apart of any board, however quotas don't bring about equality. This is direct discrimination against men.

A "board" refers to the "Board of Directors" for a company. Think of them as the CEOs boss. Generally has significant legal structure behind it. They control the companies long term strategy and are only responsible to the share holders.
