You can watch a docu-series called 'Doomsday World War I' (it's in Curiosity Stream) in the second episode 'Purgatory' they read a letter from a city-based wife to her front-line husband soldier, who was one among many men fighting and dying in front lines of war, while many other women were receiving letter of their husband's deaths. The letter reads, and I quote: "When you come you will be able to see for yourself how WE WOMEN ARE EXPLOITED" AWALT. Throughout all of history

The only reason everyone understands that you only chase one OR the other is because everyone knows one gender spends it all. Otherwise it would be advantageous for partners to chase money together

Hey, lack of driver's license keeps away the bottom feeders of the hypergamous women. It is smart strategy, and one that I practice myself (in an european country where you can actually get anywhere with decent public transportation)

What's credible about a woman inviting someone over from the market, someone she never met before, to "share that extra piece I bought." I've never even been asked my number by women I technically don't know yet but are very close over social media for years. For someone like me, being invited to come over just a few sentences later is plain impossible if not a honeypot (and I'm not falling for one of those)

She is not a nawalt, she is a honeypot of some kind You got me. I knew it was impossible for it to ever happen for a woman to invite you at her place 'to share that extra piece I bought', but was too naive to suspect April's fools here

That they are the gatekeepers and they f#€&ing suck at being it. If you are hypergamous and you control the mating game, at least initiate the process so that you don't make anyone lose their time and money that you wouldn't date with. It should be a rule.

She's unlikely to end up working a career with her university degree either way.

Nothing bad in wanting recognition if you accomplish double the work compared to peers getting less work done. On my example I was talking about that person in a team that connects on weekends and is pseudo-committed to the company, but accomplishes way less work than normal, or even doesn't have anything at all to show. Those people later want recognition for working on their off days, when they didn't reach normal productivity not even that way. You can be slow, nothing bad with that, but not …

Don't get me wrong, you sound like It isn't your case at all, but I've known people who take 24/7 to accomplish what should have been doable in half a workweek. And they then want recognition beyond normal, even get obnoxious and arrogant.

There is POV that would also circumvent the issue OP brings. The whole no-fap is just conservativism prudish religious theory, wanting to redeem through suffering and self-control to earn joy in the afterlife and wanting people to have incentive for seeking women even though men are on average being taken advantage of financially. It is very little beyond that, very little science especially.

No, she DOES want to achieve that, but it won't make her happy. Instead she will be bored and look for another independent man to 'fix'

I feel pretty much the same. I have never offered anything interesting to women, I didn't have a flat for myself at University, nor a car to offer rides, nor money to spend. And I thought there was an issue with myself. Now that I have those, some of the same women ask me for my number. I make it pretty clear that they are not getting any of it and they still lose interest.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
