If I had to choose between a bear and someone who is so afraid of me they'd rather get eaten alive, I think I'll choose bear

A 2012 Ministry of Justice study estimated that only 3% of rape reports were “perceived to be malicious”. Covid also had a "only 3%" death rate too and look how seriously that was taken

I think we can arrest people at any time so it's better to take the time to make sure it's the right person and reson rather than create arrest records for whoever happened to be there at the time, innocent or not.

So do you guys try to always keep these important discussions happening or is it more of a reactionary thing? In the real world and most places online you cant really bring up mens rights without it being an argument instead of a debate. We don't like being labeled as creeps or incels and bringing it up leads to being insulted 90% of the time, so we don't, unless the topic is already opened up. I'm part of a few mens rights communities on smaller parts of the internet and behind closed doors tho…

I've read about a couple in a similar situation. Neither one wanted child support but the state forced him to pay. When she got the money she just gave it back.

I'm not celebrating it, I just don't care. The way I live my life means abortion already had no place in my life and now I'll just have to keep doing the same things but maybe a little more carefully. I always thought we could bring mens rights up to the same level but instead women's rights got dragged down. Either way we are more equal now. Maybe we have to take one step back to move two steps forward.

Men don't get pregnant though so this point is petty and moot. Cool. No further conversation with you can happen after saying that. You will continue to not recieve my support also.

Those things happen to men too. When a boy gets raped he can be forced to pay child support to his rapist. Condoms fail for BOTH sides like you said. That's why both sides need abortion, not just women, which would also let more men off the hook for support they can't afford and no one wants.

I'm really not feeling hurt by this at all as a single, childless, non-dating man. Maybe you could tell me why I should care at all?
/r/MensRights03/05/22 06:33 PM

They've ignored the men's side of abortion for so long that I just don't care anymore. I'm single and childless and haven't bothered dating in years. Womens abortion rights have zero impact on my life at this point. Your body, your choice, your problem.

They get canceled out by movies like wonder woman who paint all men as evil.

Also because women say they care about equality so let men take a step back and let the women prove it. Better question is why aren't more women discussing these topics?

I've been thinking about making a mgtow channel about this kind of thing. I haven't had a good set up for it but I'm moving right now and can do it soon. I was thinking of talking about practical things you can do to help gyow. Things like cooking tips, cleaning, hygiene, hobbies etc. I think there's enough people talking about news articles and why you should go your own but your right that there's no one talking about how to go your own way.

Been monk for over 5 years now. I focused on being the best version of me I could be and letting the results bring people to me instead of going to them. I've had women hit on me but I won't ask anyone out, even that has some risk now which I just don't want to take. That leaves it to the woman to ask me out which hasn't happened, but it is one of the things I think needs to change so I will stick to it. Sticking with your standards is something else I do a lot of and makes it easier to stay on …

Reddit is a poor place to build a castle. The idea is out there, and its not a hard idea to figure out today. We're the ones outside of any castles, trying to bring people out of the collapsing one everyone is in now. There can't be a gate in the way of the escape route. People either evacuate the castle or they don't, even if they think they did. There is nothing tieing any one of us to the name mgtow. You can be asexual, or a confirmed bachelor, or just plain unlucky. You can dress it however …

Mgtow doesn't have a castle to defend though. Its just the idea of doing what you want instead of whats expected of you. Its like leaving the castle we were living in and instead of building a new castle that needs gatekeepers we just roam the land free. If we attach ourselves to the online mgtow community that's the same as building another castle and playing the same games. The people that stay in the castle will hate you and try to bring you back but as long as we don't get too close they can…

You can't build a school. I've thought about it before too and I think starting a business and hiring men and teaching them a trade that way would be better. If you are successful you can fund your employees schooling or enable them to start their own business hopefully passing it along. Personally I want to build a greenhouse and grow weed. In my dream world I would only hire men and actually pay them a living wage with benefits and all that. I figure if I give the right people a chance they'll…

I was raised by a single dad. He was able to prove my mom was a severe addict (still is) after 2 years in court. He got full custody and she's been no contact but was not made to pay any child support at all. My dad worked a lot, back in 2008 he had to work 80 hours a week to keep us going. So even if your friends get full custody they shouldn't expect child support. I'm grateful my dad got custody, if he was still alive I'd thank him for everything. I understand women so I know that they will take advantage of anything they can. I know I will never let that happen to me so I just think its flattering when they think I'm worthy enough to be taken advantage of, if that makes sense. The insulting part is how they want to take advantage of you, being called husband material is still a compliment. In the end they need us, whether they know it or not. There really isnt much husband material left at all so when they say you are then they are just …
/r/MGTOW201/08/20 10:24 PM

I just take it as a compliment. They also mean you are responsible, can provide, know how to take care of yourself, which are all good things that you should know how to do regardless of relationship status. Being husband material is the same as being a decent person which you should always try to be anyways. It also gives you a bit of power because since there's some desire for good husbands you can say you wont do it until things change, and only with actual wife material.

It's not about women and men being good or bad. It's about a system that gives power to one person over another. The laws about kids and marriage have become damaging to many men and affects a lot more than you think. It needs to stop and the only way to help do that is not participate.

Its important to remember that BOTH genders suck right now. A lot of men have become porn addicts, incels, douchy Chad's, nice guys, simps, all those type of things. Women have their own problems going on as well. Right now everyone, man or woman, is having the same problem of finding a decent partner, just in different ways. So really were all screwed.

I managed to get on disability from the canadian military. 45k a year for the rest of my life or until I get fixed which is not going to happen with the mental health care up here right now. I felt like another waste of life until I realized I dont actually care about contributing to society as it is now. Now I just grow weed and shrooms and do whatever the hell I want. Unfortunately I made some bad financial moves in the past like an idiot but I get enough so I'll recover soon.

This sub is about bettering yourself. The skills you are jealous of dont make you a better person. The guys who get laid every day aren't the type of people I want to be and learning to do what they do would mean I'm not being myself. You have a couple problems to deal with before you would be a good partner as well, your depression and trauma. Focusing on those would help you figure out why you are having these troubles in the first place. It's hard to see the benefits of being single sometimes…

Travelling, working out, dieting, and growing weed is what I'm into. Getting in shape is my biggest thing, it doesn't have to be about looking better, it just feels good after a while. Finding hobbies can be difficult so it's important to just try a lot of different things until you find something that works for you. I started out just going for walks and that turned into hiking in the mountains and getting back to the gym. Learning to enjoy simple things on your own helps a lot.

It's important to realize that it's not their fault they are like that. They evolved to be this way, it's just their nature. With men not being able to control their wives or daughters this is what we end up with. If you think of them as giant children it becomes pretty easy to understand them.

You are right. A lot of what we know about being a man is no longer relevant in the modern age. We don't fight wars like we used to, jobs aren't the same, schooling is different and a lot of the traits that men used to value like chivalry have no purpose today. Mgtow is about self actualization, defining what type of man you want to be to survive these days. Things like stoicism and virtue still have value though. Success isnt the amount of money you have, or the car you drive, it's how happy you are with your life. Accept that you have faults, and think about the type of person you want to be. That alone puts you above the average person. Make a change, just one at a time, in the direction you want to go and even a little bit of progress will make you happier. Enjoy the journey and don't stare at the final goal. The fact you are on the right path should give you confidence. Think of it like losing weight…

Mgtow is about self actualization. Becoming the best man you can be on your own. When you realize that 90% of what you used to do was to impress women then a lot of things become pointless. You don't need a fancy car, expensive clothes, some hobbies were just to spend time around women. When you stop caring what other people think then a lot of things will become pointless. When that happens it becomes more clear what is actually good for you. Diet and exercise are probably the most important th…

We don't really take care of the veterans either, something I am personally experiencing right now. There has been little change in the proportion of male and female shelter users over the study period (2005 to 2016). In 2016, 69.5% of shelter users were male and 29.7% were female, while 0.8% of people in shelter reported a gender other than male or female. Mgtow has let me get my shit together. That makes people jealous but they don't want to accept that women just suck now. I've been meeting a lot of people recently and they are all blown away by what I've done in the last few years. Every argument they throw at me I just respond with "I'm doing just fine on my own". I'm 2 years (aug 8) sober from my addiction. 6 months really is amazing. I hope you keep it up. Going back to drugs now would just make everything far worse than it already may be. I found that the longer I was sober the better I was able to handle shit situations. I'm currently living on the road with nowhere to go back to but since I was at such a low place in my addiction, I know what I can survive through.

I disagree. It doesn't exist between people, except maybe a mother and baby, but it certainly exists in dogs and other pets. The bond we have between animals is far stronger than anything we can get between adult humans. For me mgtow is about figuring out what a man actually is now. I know it's not what I've been raised to believe a man is and I've realized there's no examples of masculinity that I would want to follow myself. Men used to have standards and wouldn't tolerate being shamed or having to settle for a thot. I am maintaining my standards by going mgtow. I'm 27 now and when I was 16 I predicted that I would live as a hermit without a need or want for a wife. My dad saved the essay I wrote that in so it might be laying around somewhere but i cant get it now. I am now traveling around canada completely alone and I definitely do not want anything to do with women anymore. Something didn't feel quite right about dating even before 2010. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3880087/ this is a study about the relationship between cortisol and testosterone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3pvO3HH2Xk short explanation

Do you lift? You sound like you need to start lifting. You need to get your mind off sex. Drill it into your head that sex is not worth it. From what I know having a high sex drive means high testosterone. Weightlifting makes your body produce cortisol. Cortisol and testosterone basically cancel each other out. So if you work out your cortisol goes up, testosterone goes down, sex drive goes down, it's easier to be mgtow.

You can't control their feelings, but you can simply avoid any time with his wife. If you refuse to be anywhere near her it will reduce your time with him, but he will have to put her over you if he wants to stay with her. That CHOICE he will make will tell you if he wants to be saved or not.

I've made the same observation. I don't think mgtow have realized they are doing that to some extent. Applying the sound principles of TRP to other areas of life (aswell) is key. Abundance mentality, not being attached, clinging to, imo solves the problem of the cope I follow stoicism. The bottom line for me is that if you don't want to be a better man then that makes you weak. If mgtow is not going to promote becoming a better person then I will not support (or go against) it. I'd wager that someone capable and intent of destroying someone else out of spite, greed or 'just because they can' would not become a different/better person when taking the laws out of the picture women just do whats easiest for them to survive. Right now it's false accusations, but if the laws changed to where the better option was monogamy then they would do that. They are followers not leaders. I understand women just fine. Also I never said I would marry, at most all I would have is a casu…

You don't know what I look like, or how much I make. Mgtow is very judgemental, always calling people they don't agree with incels just like feminists. It's pathetic and why I think mgtow needs to change.

I think you are close minded and selfish and attack anyone that criticizes what you believe. in your story the indian man refuses to acknowledge the possibilty that he could be wrong. none of them gave any other skin colour any thought. im here saying maybe we are all wrong but you just want to paint me as another guy coming up to the indian man saying "no hes this colour". I want the best for mgtow and I think it is going nowhere the way it currently is.

Mgtow gets so triggered when they face criticism, just like the leftists, it's sad. I'm not an incel, I've been living a mgtow lifestyle for years now after being in relationships and think that you guys are arrogant for thinking just being single on it's own makes you a better person. It doesn't. I supported mgtow until I realized it's a bunch of assholes circle jerking about being single.

I think if we want peace we will have to take it for ourselves. I think its foolish to think you can keep living this lifestyle forever. Eventually they will come after us or everything will collapse and we will be forced to fix the problem or we will simply be wiped out. I have let go of the way society currently is and think we need to prepare for the future. strong men will win in the end and I don't think mgtow is a place that reinforces a strong mindset to build a better future off of.

As I said I am perfectly fine on my own, having a casual gf is not something i would chase but not something I would say no to. I think it would be nice if we didn't have to go to SE Asia to get laid. We should fix our own problems. and don't tell me to take that advice like an ass. i am already working on my own problems.

The left stole credit and gave it to a woman, mgtow stole credit from the woman and gave it to a man. She was a team leader so she should not be expected to do most of the work, she should be organizing…

You need to become self sufficient. You need to start doing everything on your own with no ones help. What you do is up to you to decide, no one will tell you what to do. It will take experimentation and failure to figure out what works and what doesn't. But those failures will build character and will help you figure out what type of man you are and what you want or don't want in your life. Start by taking care of your own business first. Clean your room, take care of what needs to be done now …

They are kind of like simps in a way. Doing all that work to look good for women is still putting them on a pedestal imo. Looking good because it feels good is the way to go

Similar story with my dad. Mom left 3 kids for my dad to raise alone but died 4 years ago at 49 from brain cancer. I told him he did his job as a dad and that we would be fine with what he gave us. He passed away about 5 minutes after.

Men are the ones usually arrested in domestic violence calls. Don't really need evidence for that here. It's probable that this cop did wrongly arrest a man in a domestic violence case.

My mother left when I was 2 as well. Realizing at 26 that that was probably a good thing. The women my dad dated after were abusive though so I've never believed that women were all that caring.
