And honestly, what if they do? The pickmeisha ends up looking just like a fool, like this one did. No skin off of your back, she takes up your ex's time and energy so he doesn't have any left to bother you, and you find out who the real friends are in your life. That's almost a favor.

He's probably posting on his walk from the hospital to the car. And by the looks of his username, he's already been trolling Reddit for replacements.

I think it's a helpful list, though, for women like me, who are still trying to recover from our previously pickmeisha ways, to keep in mind the things that we should be looking for, and the questions that we should be asking. It would be perfectly feasible to pick a handful of these to slip into conversation on each date.

Yes! I was going to post this! I had a guy tell me a month in that he was still dealing with his issues stemming from his divorce, and he wanted to move slowly. A few months later, that changed to, "I don't know if I'll ever be able to have another serious relationship again, but I really like you and I don't want to date anyone else." Of course, he tells me this immediately after we'd just had sex, and at this point it was 4 months in so I was invested. After A YEAR (literally 2 - 3 days before…

Oh man, WAY back in the day I met a dude on Craigslist, and he signed his emails with one name, so I just assumed that was his name as you do. We went on SEVERAL dates before he came to brunch with my bestie and I. At the end of brunch, he left his card face up on the bill, and got up to use the restroom. I happened to glance at his card and his name was COMPLETELY different. Like, Luke vs. Chad different.
