OP is a guy masquerading as a woman as pointed out by another comment. Let's pack it up and leave, no point trying to get him to understand when he willfully is choosing to ignore women sharing their perspectives.

If this is true, which it must be because you can't make this shit up, that definitely puts all of OP's comments into context lol.

I asked if the person being approached politely and firmly said they weren't interested, do you consider that being rude? How is politely but firmly saying you're not interested = very rude?

I was just chiming in on u/RedstarHeineken1's comment. That men are equally standoffish to women they don't find attractive. Like you just said yourself, it's not just one group of people. It's not just women who can be standoffish. Anybody can be of the same way to someone they don't want to entertain advances from.

The person approaching is asking the other party for their time, attention, and space. The person being approached was just sitting there minding their own business. If the person being approached politely and firmly said they weren't interested, do you consider that being rude?

That's kind of different. Queer men and straight men are different. Straight guys can be pretty dismissive of any woman they don't find attractive.

What kind of a comment is this? That's the point they were trying to make about OP try to insinuate that being at a bar means that you should expect that people approach you.

Generally is it unfair to say the overwhelming majority of people are not going to harm you? Even racists these days dont go around buring crosses and lynching people. The level of violence especially in western countries has decreased and continues to decrease every year. Women are more empowered then ever, have access to force multipliers, and have had decades of men being taught to be extra careful. On the topic of racism, the racially-charged murders of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd in the …

Im a big guy, i have a big frame and under my fat is a decent amount of muscle. Why does that mean im somehow immune from getting beaten? Im not a fighter, and in a physical alteration i will freeze even with some smaller than me. This is even with combat sports experience, a sparing match is not a street fight after all. Is my fear unreasonable becuse of my size? Would a male little person be allowed to be fearful? I think it is fair to say size and gender are not actual factors when trying to …

Female sex workers are equivalent to hitmen or individuals who break others' legs for money. Sex work is not comparable to murder. Like someone else said, it takes two to willingly participate in sex. The sex work industry exists because there are people willing to supply (the women, in this case) and there are people creating the demand (the men). The supply does nothing without the demand. A perspective that you've completely overlooked, too, is how the sex work industry has historically been …

I’m not talking about hypotheticals either. I’m sorry that that has been your experience but frankly, a sample size of four women is not an accurate representation of the mindset of the entire female population. I understand that we all extrapolate based on the limited sphere of our own lived experiences though and that this is a natural, human thing to do. I myself am extrapolating information based on my own experiences that contrast yours. There are obviously a lot of nuances and layers to wh…

I read your comment, and my immediate response was what the heck is this... but then I saw your flair. Checks out. Do NOT EVER tell a woman that you think you're autistic or if you've been diagnosed. EVER. If you actually want to set up your brother, DO NOT EVER USE THAT TERM AGAIN. If you want to describe him You can talk about anything else, but let women draw their own conclusions. I think you underestimate just how progressive many people are these days. This will vary depending on your loca…
