What's interesting about this is it's accompanied by fabricating a complete backstory about why the marriage failed: not making enough money, not sexually satisfied, abuse, etc. The story rarely mentions they've found someone better. If you're in a sexless marriage, and your wife suddenly wants to have sex without using birth control, you should be suspicious that she might be trying to hide that she's pregnant from another man. As a young man you ignore the warnings the older generation, believing you are different and it won't happen to you.
