I'm sure that all things equal, such as height, muscle is a net positive in men regardless The point of this post is that this is NOT true, at least for this 1 particular case. I don't necessarily believe the study and with this like this polling people can have different results than the real world. Also could be some other correlations not considered, like short guys in general are more likely to get muscular because of their lack of dating success and maybe they have other problems as well.

The weird part is if women were around this group of guys they would have like 1-2 favorites and the others would get ignored. No idea which 1-2 but can probably eliminate a few that look under 6'

That's the solution everyone, not enough men are going for the average girls. Problem solved, I guess we can close this sub now.

This list actually mentions a few downsides that are not specific to body shaming. Personally I think weight is more correlated to hygiene than body type as its more how you maintain yourself rather than pure genetics you can't help. Like smell/body hair/teeth color, those are all related to your body but is it body shaming if you tell someone they smell bad, need a haircut/shave, or brush their teeth better?

And judging by her pics lots of men think they have a chance for sex so will go with the 10/10 compliment faster than they would with a woman who actually looks better than her, hence the inflated self image. When women go fishing for an ego boost they get it.

She's not fat and nothing horribly wrong with her so that makes her average at worst. But there isn't much else going on so I'd say average 5/10.

We call them shallow but would still date her if given the chance so nothing men do is a real threat. Lots of guys will reject women for being fat but there aren't even enough guys willing to hold strong on that one so we are pretty much at the mercy of women most of the time unfortunately. If women collectively don't like certain attributes in men then those guys will have a hard time dating unless they change.

Relationship, it's who you spend the most time with. Not everyone is into casual sex or hookups, if the answer is one night stands it excludes too many people from even having a league. Now that I think of it, context might matter. A guy looking for hookups at a bar has a league that night, but it might be a different one than when he's dating. It's 2 different games so maybe there are 2 leagues?

The line "I hardly find any men attractive" is a bit concerning. It sounds like the same unreasonable standards I'd hear from a 19yo male who has an addiction to porn. Agreed, would be interested to know what that means in percentages, are we talking like 20 or 1%. Also looks only vs personality, its one thing to be turned off once you get to know a lot of guys but another to simply say "hes unattractive" to almost all men you encounter.

I think this stuff applies to the real world. Every guy has a number that would scare him away. Also, if he doesn't want anything serious then the higher the number the better chance you are so of course he won't turn that down either. If she is looking to settle down and wants you to be that guy, the number matters. MOST dating is not for the person you settle down with which means MOST of the time N count doesn't matter, but there are times when it does.

Just curious, without any stipulations what other options does the wife have? I couldn't imaging having access to a billion dollars (even indirectly via my spouse) and working a normal 9-5 job for peanuts. A prenup with a minimum of 2x or more whatever you'd make at a lifetime of your alternate career seems reasonable here, that's like a few million for most people which is 1% rounded up of a billionaires worth. Basically a safety net in-case they divorce you when your 50 and missed all your car…

I think the "boy" is the issue with the "pretty boy" type. When men are young that can work for them because well, they are young and young people tend to look young lol. Eventually they get older and wtf is a 50 year old "pretty boy" supposed to look like?

I agree with this. Also the women who prefer a dad bod that is more considered fat are probably just fat themselves. When women on reddit state their preferences what they look like themselves is a consideration. Peoples preferences somewhat align with reality. I could say I don't like the fake Instagram model type girls, but if they were into me I might change my mind lol

This is a weird question because we don't really know the details of subtle human interactions 100+ years ago. Maybe it was closer to today than we think, women could have been uninterested in a guy for all sorts of reasons. Maybe these things were talked about less so there was less societal pressure to pick partners based on certain traits but people did it to some degree anyway because of basic human instinct. Really the main difference was less options, but some people have always had more o…

I think it can still matter when you are older, at minimum its just a sign of an incompatibility. Its not the count itself that is bad but rather everything it implies. Sex especially for a woman is more risky so high N count at least implies she is the type of person to take more risks and that alone could be a red flag for someone who likes to be more cautious.

The only point you may have here is I can see a woman wanting a man who weighs more than her but not be overweight himself (at least as much as possible anyway). The taller the guy the more he will weigh so she can be a bit overweight and still be less than him. However, if tall guys are in as much demand as this sub says, why wouldn't they just ignore all fat women as a potential partner? In that case it doesn't matter what fat women want because they aren't going to get it.

I feel like 5'11 for a woman is no worse than a guy who is 5'11, hes not 6'+ but a lot of them do quite well for themselves, its not a negative thing even though you don't make some arbitrary cutoff, its not like your 6'4 or something crazy. Also as a tall guy myself its sort of a positive, tall women are the ones that catch my eye first and for good reasons, of course they need to be attractive as well. Its not that uncommon for people to blame a single trait like this on their lack of success,…

Some men certainly would if they get the opportunity but assuming the worst of people is no reason to try to hold them back. A lot of what is discussed here can be compared to wealth. "How do we solve male sexlessness?" "Well if they have access to sex they will take advantage of women so its probably better to keep them sexless" "How do we solve poverty?" "Well when people get money they get greedy/evil so we should let poor people stay poor".

The ones struggling are not the ones taking advantage. Men are at a disadvantage here so how exactly are they to take advantage of women, its like contradictory almost.

In this particular example isn't it just because AOC is like 15 years younger than MTG and men like younger women? This is a tough one because you can only compare 2 women with equal attractiveness and equal political extremes, I think if you found that there wouldn't be much of a noticeable difference. "Why is it that men love younger sexy women and not so much the older less sexy ones?", I know, it must be their politics!

Women don't actually hate the guy with options, at least until she finds out for sure she is not one of his options, then she gets bitter. Until then she can just pretend shes one of his options and have the fantasy it could work in the right circumstances. Maybe the guy is already taken but she tries to keep his interest a bit in-case one day they break up or he decides to stray. If he legit expresses disinterest in her, then hes just a typical asshole guy of course

100% agree with this, I think a lot of men would actually prefer women who might be into porn, much better than the alternative which is a woman with low sex drive. I've seen some surprising stuff on the marriage and relationship subs about women being anti-porn but never seen the reverse. I think the answer to OPs question is simply "no" and the fact they brought it up maybe they once dated a guy in the 1% who is anti-porn.

It's not necessarily the gym that's important but what you would otherwise do with your time if you didn't go to the gym. Are you sitting at home playing video games, are you out having an active social life? Obviously if it's the latter maybe the gym won't change much. Going to the gym is a safe reliable answer for most people struggling because there is a pretty good chance what they would otherwise spend that hour a day doing is much worse. You could even be doing 5 other things better than g…

What I meant by that comment is men judge a woman as a potential partner based on her N count which is exactly what you are saying. Judging them any other way I don't even know what that means unless you are religious and think people who have premarital sex are going to hell or something weird like that. Our opinions of people outside of dating/relationships are a subject for somewhere else besides this sub.

Women get used for sex a lot, I think this is partly intentional buy some guys and unintentional by others. Its easy to have high interest for a woman then after sex (not the first time but lets say a few times) start to lose interest. Its the realization that sex is suddenly less exciting since its been done and you feel obligated to hang out with her a bit which you dread just to get more sex so the trade off flips and its no longer worth it. So you move on to someone else or try to turn it in…

Sounds like an interesting idea in theory. How exactly are the matches made though? Lets say there are 100 male and 100 female profiles. Do you just get presented a random profile to match then swipe through X number of opposite gender profiles to try and match them, then repeat for another profile? Or did the 2 users already swipe on each other and the match makers are just voting yes or no on the result?

I think the reality of it is there is a high chance for sex and it very well could be headed that direction but my point was more of an extreme example of why it doesn't impact men quite as much compared to the opposite which is a sex only thing.

This is a hard one because I think it depends on the situation more than anything and most cases. Answering on reddit, lets say a relationship sub I treat both genders equal. In real life there are other factors at play. If its a man it probably doesn't effect me, is he my friend? If I like him I'd still be friends with him unless I was on the fence and it was the final straw in the "this guys character sucks and I don't want to be associated anymore". On average, the same as men. I guess if there is a tie breaker it's whatever is more popular between MFM and FMF threesomes. And of course if you count gay men then men overall have more sex.

The guy you are describing in this scenario might be less desirable later in life but there are plenty of women versions of him and he will at least be popular with those ladies still. The Chad we think of in this sub is something all guys want to be, but there are still some guys able to get women we may not necessarily want to be because those women have issues we don't want to deal with.

They are unashamed because thirsty guys still swipe on them so their likes/matches are not low which inflates their ego. There are still more subtle things going on after that which they probably don't realize though. So you're not actually advocating for 50/50 but an equitable division. I think everyone means that but most relationships tend to be between similar social/financial classes so 50/50 is almost the same thing. Personally I'm not really compatible with a woman without a least a middle class paying job so 50/50 is going to be very close most of the time anyway.

Why are men so afraid of being taken advantage of? Why do you say men here? Are women okay being taken advantage of or something? I figured this is one both sexes can agree on so mens reason is the same as yours would be What is their fair share? Well if its money then 50/50 sounds fair to me, or at least 50/50 of disposable income. If the woman makes more then maybe she pays more than half on average or vise versa.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 04:28 AM
3

I think for the purposes of answering this question for the OP it really comes down to how long you made guys wait in the past vs how long you make them wait now. More importantly, did a more attractive guy have to wait less time because he would lose interest if you didn't? Men hate this because it comes down to "I value this guy more so will give him what he wants".
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 01:00 AM
1

I think the rule is its not exclusive if there is no sex, if I like her I might stick around but still try to get sex elsewhere. So really this waiting thing should have no impact on men at all, I don't know why this sub makes it a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 12:42 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 12:40 AM

Women complain about not being able to find a relationship but honestly its very similar on the mens side. The only real difference is some men are so desperate they will settle for a relationship they really shouldn't be in while women know better and will just stay single. This mainly happens because while it sucks, they can at least get the occasional FWB or sex to make the single life not as horrible, while the men don't have this option.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 12:17 AM

This sub is mostly about hookup/dating culture and sex, overweight married people with no sex life are not much worth discussing here.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 02:49 AM
3

You are right and this rarely comes up in this sub. Being in the top 20% of men doesn't get you the 80% of women, if your in the lower part of that 20 then you get the lower end of the women. Top 20-10% men get the top 80-50% of women which is still the bottom half which means all fatties
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 05:00 PM
14

Yeah that was my thought too, its mostly middle age folks but the dating market at least how we talk in this sub seems to apply mostly to 20-30 year olds. Basically if your young and don't have kids being healthy weight becomes just average and almost expected when your dating, its the time of your life when you need to be at your best. People let themselves go AFTER getting into a relationship usually.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 04:57 PM
1

American weight is skewed up a bit so I think the low end of the overweight category is rarely a dealbreaker. Obese is probably yes but I'd say at least half the overweight men are in a position to overtake normal weight guys in the dating market if they satisfy other requirements. I'm technically overweight based on BMI but think I'm at least in the 20%. Its a pretty easy observation if you go anywhere in public and look at people over age 30 or so, check out the not fat but not slim guys with …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 04:54 PM

That is sort of my conclusion from this, if being healthy weight puts you in top 30% so you just gotta beat the 1/3 of those men to be in top 20% then maybe some assumption is wrong because its not that easy.

What is a way it can hurt you? I mean obviously there is but if you wanted a somewhat neutral bio there has to be something safe you can put. Lets put it in numbers 80% of women don't care about bio 20% of women do So a blank bio is hurting you against 20%, not all will like what you say so maybe you can win over 10% of them by putting something. So the math here works in your advantage as long as you don't put something to lose much of the other 80%, but they don't care much about bio anyway so…

Too muscular pretty much requires steroids, most guys can try as hard as they can to get big and not be too muscular naturally, same with women. I sort of challenge any women to find pics of a natural guy they find too muscular.

If you say age how would you judge attractiveness on women in the 18-30 range? For example a 25 year old guy pretty much his entire dating pool is good on age, so how would he determine whats unattractive.

Khloe isn't that bad, there are some unflattering older pictures of her but but she was never unattractive. She's being compared to celebrities, just put her at her worst with some regular folks and she would still be eye catching on the looks scale.

I think the overly simplistic case is wrong but its only because of a high correlation of what I say next, there are obviously exceptions but in general... - A high count women implies nothing for her worth, she doesn't even have to be that attractive or likeable. She just has to go with the flow and not say "no" much. - A high count man, has repeated enough times what most men fail at, so there is some demonstration of value there, may not be much but its something. So simply put, if a person f…

Why does it matter if she thinks your creepy? She isn't a dating option for you at that point so it doesn't matter. If you were on an app she would have left swiped. If you never talked to her she would probably still think the same thing, that creepy guy over there who doesn't talk to anyone lol. Yeah its a lose lose situation but you do it for the rare chance she doesn't find you creepy.

This is the real answer, a woman can use the app for a couple days and have some FWBs lined up for the next 6 months. A guy needs to use it for weeks to get a first date that may or may not lead to anything.

Of course they still have power, it's so imbalanced a slight advantage for the men isn't even noticed by them. The dating apps might have a 1 to 8 ratio instead of 1 to 9, certainly the women won't be hurting from that change lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/22 02:04 AM

I still think they could hide a lot especially if they were interested in you. Every attractive woman is a potential girlfriend and guys are different around "friends" vs their real male only friends. If they are that comfortable with you then at least one side got friendzoned.

You are totally right but who cares what other people think? If you are a 40 year old guy who can pull a 20 year old go for it, most judging are just jealous anyways. Your dating results (for better or worse) are much more important than peoples dating opinions, the person you are dating is the only opinion that matters and obviously its a positive one if they are dating you.

I have a good explanation for this based on what we hear in this sub, like most things it comes back to the 80/20 rule. If 80% of the women are trying to get sex from 20% of the men there obviously is not enough to go around so the women will not quite get enough and the guys will be burned out from sex so his new woman will accuse him of having a lower libido when really he is just tired from all the women he had sex with before her.

The repercussions are only when it comes to having serious LTRs. Riley Reid will likely be divorced some day and even you said the Kardashians will go through a slew of rich guys. This sort of thing is fine for celebrities but for normal people a couple divorces will negatively effect their quality of life later.

I think there are 2 factors here and vary a lot per person. One is generally how well someone takes care of themselves, I feel like many women could make it to almost 50 without hitting wall if they really focused on looks/fitness most of their life. The other is general age, take some attractive female celebrities who even look good after 50. Somehow, they look good until one day they don't. That one is pure age and seems more like a wall than anything else, but its much older than the numbers …

I think the term is sort of relative to who is giving the label. Personally I consider a woman a gold digger if she spends MY money on things I would not otherwise approve of, and for that reason I would never date her. Most guys may do the same, but what they approve of may vary. I might label some other woman that but if her guy doesn't think so then to him maybe she is not. Some of it is social class based, like wealthy people grow up seeing money spent on material things so when their woman …

I think guys who get a lot of tinder matches can at least filter out non-uglies. Just the fact they get a lot of matches they are probably at least in the top 20% and according to this sub that means 80% of women want them. Lots of matches means lots of 7+

Interesting theory. I know its a completely made up example but any explanation for the +1 attractive guy approaching? The only flaw with this is with OLD attractive guys don't even need to approach anymore, in fact they probably get better results just creating a dating profile and letting the women come to them. Why would you approach in real life if your online is full of matches and you have to turn some down?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 07:56 PM

Men like variety so a physical preference doesn't always mean they don't enjoy other things even regularly. Also as a small boob guy that one is sort of an odd one. There isn't always a lot there to compliment, also they are just less noticed in general. Like a ridiculously big pair of boobs it's hard not to notice and even be tempted to say something, even if it's not your preference. So just because one thing is more noticable doesn't mean it's what we prefer.

We are talking about LTRs here, a guy with a count of 10 has no problem sleeping with a woman whos been with 50 guys. However, when that guy later wants an LTR why can't he say a woman with over 15 is unreasonable? He would still be lower (11 in this case) and not a hypocrite and even allowing the woman to have a few extra because hes a reasonable person.

Waiting to marriage is not realistic in this scenario. You don't go from hoe phase to waiting to marriage, even the 3 months here seems a bit long. A reasonable question would be like you went on ~5 or so dates with a guy in a short period of time, want to have sex but he wants to wait til its been about 3 months which is roughly 10 more dates at your current pace.

The top tier guys still have a big advantage, but if they are not thinking with their dicks the less women will be able to share them so hypergamy goes away a bit, …

I think it's pretty similar to how women feel about other women. Maybe a combo of jealousy + I wish I looked like them. Depends on the details of the hoe phase, like 50 guys in a single year probably not going to be wife material no matter how much time goes by. I don't really follow RP that much but from what I've seen there is an emphasis on practicing dating which sort of implies increasing your N count. My interpretation of RP is a strategy to become desirable to women. When you finally want to settle down that's the easy part, you just find someone who is LRR material and commit to them. My take from this sub is that dating apps have ruined dating by giving women easy access to men who would normally be out of their league. This has changed standards for attraction as a result. While you shouldn't change your dating preferences, it's really an unfortunate symptom of another problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 03:03 AM

I honestly don't think 1 and 2 contradict each other that much. If a guy is actually interested in a relationship with you, waiting for sex but still showing him high levels of interest is a good way to show you aren't the type to have a high N count but still value him. If he really dumps you for no sex so soon then it's his loss and he's being unrealistic and that shouldn't be your problem as he wasn't good anyway.

The same as RP advice mostly. Except a small difference is date but don't have sex too easily, make them wait a bit and work on keeping guys with your personality. Keep N count low-ish but can still go up 2-3 people per year at most. It's easy to have a high libido when you're not having sex. So no I don't think this is the problem at all. Also first time I've heard HLW complain outside of a relationship, if a woman wants sex she gets it and can find some guys to get it regularly from.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 03:27 AM
1

I meant that the woman was the one less likely to want it. There is a big grey area, people want the best of both which is not realistic. The men who prefer stable relationship only did so because then pros outweigh the cons by at least 51%. I think society's expectations are a big factor as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 08:43 PM

That sort of thing is the exception not the rule. What percentage of relationships are even open?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 08:07 PM

There are a few factors but the one that comes up in this sub the most is men seek sex and women seek relationships. Ignore the ethics here I'm speaking from biological standpoint. If a man cheats he is just doing what is natural, getting the sex he always wanted. If a woman cheats she is betraying the relationship that was HER idea. Basically if the rules were up to men there would be less relationships, more casual sex and less cheating as a result. But we follow women's rules for relationship…

I only know this from porn lol, they have a huge dick but never go more than half way in, seems like a waste. The blowjobs can be even worse, some can go deep but occasionally they will barely get more than the head especially if it's thick
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:50 PM

Basically you can't go balls deep so you have to cut all your thrusts short which is probably annoying.

It does matter though and comes up on this sub a lot. The exact number isn't important, you don't know yours but I'm sure if you know it's closer to 10, 50 or 100+

I have a feeling there is a bit of a disconnect men have about what actually happens vs what they think happens. They hear these crazy sex stories (from reddit or their friends) and just assume every girl they are with was once like that and is holding back on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:20 PM
29

It will weed out the impatient guys though, weeding out some is better than letting everyone up your N count which is apparently important for women to keep low. Also it has the side effect of spreading out your new partners, waiting a month is at most 12 guys a year, what happens if you add one per week?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 04:01 AM

Standards ultimately come down to the balance of happiness being single vs happiness with the best partner you can obtain + effort to get that partner. It is possible you could be happier being single than whatever partner you could obtain. For most people a partner they would be happy with seems just out of reach, but some self improvement can tip the scales in your favor. Unrealistic standards is when your happiness is LOWER when your single but you remain single anyway because your standards …

Maybe the guys are just attractive? When men here complain about stuff I assume they are unattractive so the women commenters can make other assumptions on why they wouldn't date them because their rose tinted glasses are not on.

Not necessarily, long term relationship = long term income stream. Although might get a little awkward when she starts asking for more due to inflation.

No, single mothers get a bad reputation because there are so many childless women the same age in the younger dating pool that are better options. After a certain age expecting to find a childless partner is less practical and its probably an added bonus they are out of the primary childcare years when their children are more self sufficient, even middle/high school isn't comparable to dating a woman with a toddler. There are certainly different degrees of single mothers across the range. Worst …

The urban thing makes sense, trucks are useful in the suburbs too so it doesn't necessarily need to be rural.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 06:16 PM

It is weird a subset of the population ruined driving a truck lol. They are very practical and limited alternatives if you need to do truck stuff. Just curious since you mentioned SUV, I have a 4runner so is that like a deal breaker for some reason?

It's important because women make it important. A woman who is 5'0" may not be attracted to the 5'5" guy so then what? Its not a solution to make women date someone they are not attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 04:52 PM

I meant relatively low effort, as in enough to get initial interest in guys but for whatever reason your content gets boring fast because keeping people interested is hard. Guys get bored, new is always more interesting. Eventually your new runs out and if your just mediocre what keeps guys paying month after month? It's the continued effort beyond the minimum (all the photo aspects you mentioned) entry point
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 07:02 AM

The ego boost thing makes sense, I have a feeling a lot of women can get some customers fairly easily but don't actually care to put in the effort to keep them long term. They get the short term ego boost, then get bored and move to something else. Even if they were lucky and got like $500 in a month it may not be sustainable, just a bunch of simps who subscribed before realizing her content sucks compared to others. The successful women need to enjoy it somewhat, kind of like going to a strip c…

Yeah I don't know what work actually goes into that $123 a month. Just taking random pictures of yourself even once a day is potentially low effort, never used the site so not sure what the expected content looks like or if you are required to interact with subscribers to keep them interested. As with everything that is supply and demand if its easy money someone willing to work slightly harder (or simply more attractive) will swoop in and take your customers away. So anyone making decent money …

There has got to be stories from the perspective of an average woman on OF and her experience, maybe reddit even? I imaging for most women trying to make money on OF is the same difficulty as guys trying to get dates on tinder LOL. Results will determine what is reasonable. It's difficult for most men to get women so some work in pursuing them is required. It comes down to is that use of time better spent going to the gym if strictly pursuing is not getting the results you need. Them having to deal with how poorly men take rejection. I think it's the main reason they do shitty things like lie and ghost rather than a real conversation or constructive criticism. Sort of creates an endless cycle of men being frustrated not knowing how to improve which leads them to stuff like TRP which causes new problems for women to deal with. Also all the low effort guys who just want sex, easy enough to ignore but apparently there are a lot and it adds up over time. I suppose guys who …

They are not telling us directly most of the time. Just as an example might be any relationship related subs on reddits, there are also women oriented ones which men don't really get to participate in.

I think they just want a chance. And maybe to stop complaining about bad experiences with the guys women did pick but didn't work out for various reasons. Guy cheated on her, any sort of abuse, low effort... mostly her fault because of all the options women have she picked him over everyone else.

I imagine having sex with a really hot person who isn't horrible in bed is pretty awesome and if your an attractive person that probably isn't hard to accomplish. Also we are generalizing here which means averages, many commenters said some not so hot people are great at sex, but there are a lot more who are not. So given that on average…

It's best to get a feel on her comfort level before asking. I agree earlier is better but not all will like that, I think there is a natural progression before asking to meet so do at the correct time whenever that may be. Arbitrary time rules are dumb since people are different. The bad part of this is it's hard to give more specific advice for. Social cues are important and not always easy for people to learn.

The problem is women benefit from the tinder model because they don't pay anyway. Because it's the best for them tinder will have the most women users which guarantees men keep using despite their disadvantage, and a percentage will always pay to get a slight advantage. And to make it worse, not only does the company take advantage of men there are a bunch of women on there trying to do the same. Keep your wallets closed guys!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 11:01 PM

Guys have to be more picky, women get less likes so they are more likely to pay attention to the ones they do get. A common complaint women have is men swipe on everything so a match doesn't imply they are interested (even in sex for that matter).

I'm pretty sure most guys who are against this don't even know how to talk to women, shes hot and I'd probably be nervous to talk to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 02:02 AM

Having a pic doesn't really matter, there is a much greater chance of you being attractive than a guy getting a match from any 1 swipe. No pic may even get more swipes than an ugly pic because those have a 0% chance of being attractive.

It's a big country, not everyone thinks the same. Just as an example, you think everyone watches the superbowl but it has like 100 million viewers (quite impressive) but that is less than 1/3 of the country so a majority do not watch it and that is the most popular sporting event we have, so everything else is much less popular.

I think the goal is just self improvement to raise your SMV to level the playing field with women who naturally have higher SMV. At a given time a woman may not be looking for an LTR and be able to get men as she pleases. A guy on the other hand can't do that easily so he turns to advice on this like RP, best case he is successful and does exactly what a woman would do yet for some reason criticized for it. Then later in life men/woman may be ready to start a family and their higher SMV helps wi…

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the beta female, it doesn't have the same implication it does for men. If a womans goal is to hookup and have sex then yeah I suppose a beta female is not great but based on what women post on this sub and others their dating goals are to NOT do that. Men want sex and women want commitment, so what's so bad about a woman who is able to get commitment? It just means she is valued which is what everyone wants and few yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 02:01 AM
3

As a guy, I don't think this is the way other men think at all. Most of the other responses and what I've gathered from other posts in this sub is that women are the ones who settle for a loyal guy. Men can be flaky with relationships and the times they do want to commit is when they actually found someone more desirable than their usuals, assuming she likes him back obviously. Maybe in religious communities there is an exception here.

yes its a specific number for each person judging you on it. 15 itself is meaningless, 15 to you personally is all that matters. This is why we say high/low, everyone interprets that the way they want, saying someone over 30 is a slut is just a personal opinion and nobody else cares.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 04:18 PM
1

That is actually a good way of putting it, N count is not a deal breaker but a lowering of value. Most guys will not let N count ruin an otherwise perfect partner but in reality most guys won't get perfect. So if she is barely at your dating threshold the N count might make or break it, if she seems like a good catch then probably won't be as harsh on N count since she makes up for it with other qualities. Pretty much the same for any trait you care about including looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 04:16 PM

Probably something wrong with the screening process if 95-99% of the guys are flagged as "risk or gamble with my life".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/22 05:28 AM

If you 1) Do a bit of pre-screening for red flags 2) Leave at the first sign of trouble then the risk is negligibly low. Sure it may be many times greater the risk a man has which is near zero but still safer than most things in life.

also men dont care about your career/finances. especially high earning men Correct, that was just part of her insecurity which is often irrational anyway. There is risk in any potential LTR partner, why are men so much more riskier than women? Women could be a snake in disguise as well. The way I see it is as follows. Woman has 100 men interested in her, maybe 20 meet her looks criteria and 5 out of that are good men so shes gotta use some un-perfect process to find 1 guy out of the 20 who happens to be one of the 5 good ones and she may get it wrong. Whatever men's standards are they quickly change when a girl actually talks and shows interest in him. That doesn't happen to women because they essentially get the opposite and are tired of all the attention.

This is more of a stereotype than reality, the plot of TV shows or movies. I've never met a married guy who goes to the bar to check out women after work. If you look at the divorce rate, the guys who do this stuff are a small percentage of those pre-divorced people and women are not innocent here either.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:30 PM

This is true, the women will always have more advantages with looks but at the high end its not always things you want and there are diminishing returns as well as disadvantages. The range of social value of men is much greater, you can be at the top of society or very bottom. If the question was average man or woman (or even above average for that matter) a woman would have the advantage here. Since this is PPD, OPs question is sort of asking if you'd want to be Chad or Stacy
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 03:18 PM

People don't usually like that, so you just date a while, few years even. Then around the time sex gets boring you start being bothered by their other flaws and break up.

Unclear what will actually happen since we can't predict the future but its fair enough to say these men will be in large enough numbers to be some sort of voting bloc that one party can absorb, doesn't have to be large to make a difference since our elections are close a lot of the time. Given recent events I can't see this group particularly concerned with abortion rights so that might be one hint of what side they might favor.

Yes those all give men some control but women still have more. The women with access to birth control and decent partners far exceed those without access and shitty partners. Believe it or not MOST men would prefer not to get their girl pregnant so it's not like everything is working against women here
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:07 PM

Technically you have more control than a guy does by a lot. Women control access to sex and can take birth control.

Are women opposed to this for men? I've never seen any real data since this topic really only exists on a subset of online forums like this one. I assume they are but wonder what percentage, 40% don't even want it for themselves so mostly curious about the other 60%

People don't talk about it but every new relationship gets the answer to that question and is judged on it silently. It's literally a 10 second conversation which is why it may not be remembered.

Women don't really understand the importance of it because it has a lot of other indirect benefits. They just assume we are all trying to look like bodybuilders when in reality we couldn't even get that look if we wanted and tried really hard. I guarantee if most women were tasked with finding a picture of a hot/ideal man, specifically one who didn't go to the gym. They would end up picking guys who 1) Look like that because they work out directly or indirectly with some other activity 2) Have r…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 07:26 PM

Gym goals can be whatever they think is most effective, it can easily be to just mirror the look of a sports player with natural build. Without steroids anything more can be near impossible especially if your genetics suck. You'd be surprised at how much work some guys put it to just pull off the natural look to appear like they have good generics and don't even workout when really they do. Most NBA players have more muscle than guys who go to the gym with the sole purpose of building muscle.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 04:38 PM
2

I don't follow RP but I'd be surprised if their advice is to only invest in building muscle and nothing else. Physical looks are important to getting noticed and going to the gym is one of the few things you can actually do about it so its something that should be invested in period. The other stuff can be done simultaneously but can be less straightforward and many guys will fail at it. Maybe RP is bad about getting their message across but I doubt any of them would say "Just keep hitting the g…

It wouldn't be a downside though if the intellectual guy also went to the gym regularly? Also, I think the giant man you described is pretty rare, even if they were the most in demand type of guy the chances of a random group of beautiful women dating one is small because there simply isn't enough of those guys for everyone to date. I go to the gym a lot and drawing a blank on remembering 1 guy who might fit that description, the strongest/muscular guys are mostly shorter and definitely don't st…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:52 PM

It really comes down to men's options, yes they are happy to get a relationship but if they had a lot more choices they would want more things in common. It's the same with friends, I'm personally picky about them because I can be, but some people take what they can get. The real solution for the guys is women need to be more educated on how to not be naive around them and learn to say no. These days I don't give men enough credit to be compared to the police with their power.

That one yes, especially if they are looking for the opposite they might want a woman with a high sex drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:21 AM

There's gotta be some better way to screen though, like how they kiss, ask them to describe good sex in better detail. If you just do yes or no questions they generally know the "correct" answer. Another is sexual compatibility with their ex's, if it wasn't great because they kept getting denied sex, well maybe they were not that good at it.

I'd struggle with enjoying it because I've begun to become self conscious of my parts from what I've seen online/in porn- which I know is dumb- but I can't help but not want a guy down there now. Guys have this worse

Seems like less than 5 minutes of talking to you would get all those stereotypes out of the way if you are opposite, how is that a big problem still?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 01:24 AM

Wouldn't most of the relationship problems apply to men too? Also the sex part can be solved with a better screening process. One thing I noticed about the guys who push boundaries and/or make sex unpleasant is they are actually having sex which seems like a big problem considering all the men who are not getting that far.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 01:21 AM

I didn't necessarily mean withholding sex but rather having an overall attitude that it's better to get to know someone better first before deciding that's the next step. It has a secondary effect of filtering out guys who just want sex, many might be okay waiting a few dates but still get bored of you fast once they accomplished that goal.

No, they don't. They give advice often that's only going to make things easier and more advantageous for them. I agree, men will hate me for this but I actually think the FDS strategy for making a guy wait is legit considering what women have to deal with dating. However, I think that needs to start early, they can't just have a hoe phase and expect guy #50 to wait months for sex.

Replace hot/average/ugly with some sort of SMV range and it still works fine, its mostly going to be looks anyway but will at least account for money/status. Women think of this differently than men so when you say "hot dude" that is already accounting for status (and money which is often correlated). And age is implied already, a "hot woman" is not going to be in her 60s. However, living on easy mode up until that point she will be riding that success til death. An ex-hot woman has an easier ov…

Your right it does apply to men but the whole thing is related to SMV which if you were to draw a graph showing this by age women would have a significantly different looking one. So it applies to both but not equally. Guess it depends what you define as the wall, it's a steep decline in SMV but it may actually be more gradual.

10 is the person you've found most attractive ever in life. This can change a lot and I don't think your opinion should change the rating after the fact. I don't care what the correct answer is but I think 10 is some percentile like top 1%, 0.01%, 0.001% or whatever but can be more than 1 person. Plus I like the idea of whole numbers so it goes 9 then 10, nothing in-between.

10 is hard to quantify since it implies perfection, but lots of instagram models I've seen might fall into that category. Everyone has a type so my 10s may not be yours but I could certainly find some, any fitness model with 100k+ followers might count for me. I think it makes sense if you put it in percentiles. The 5% of bad boys are most likely to be with the 5% of women who best fit into that category, but in no way does that mean the women are similar to the guys, it just means they are closer than the remaining 95% of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:51 AM

I think it's a combination of people who have it the worst are more likely to complain and some exaggerating their problems. As a guy I have a hard time gauging what sort of women post here, like I have no idea what they look like or personality outside of this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:56 PM

Given that we don't have the option at all now I think its reasonable to make the timeline fairly short like first trimester. /r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 02:19 PM

If she doesn't give it eventually then yes she's not interested. She is allowed to take her time especially if that's how she has done it in the past. It's only really a red flag when she makes you wait but nobody else, from a guys perspective it comes across as her being unsure about you which is not the type of girl you want to LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 02:15 PM

"A real man" is just a figure of speech and has no meaning except to the person who is saying it. In most cases when a woman says it what they really mean to say is "The men I like do ___". It's just a statement of opinion and men can do it too, either about yourself or other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:17 AM

Try going to local hobby groups or social events. Such as? I know a lot of men have way different hobbies than women so even that is hard, its like you have to pretend to like something else just so you could be around women instead of doing your own things. Also a tad introverted but I know a lot of women are too.

Are you guys really that desperate recently? You'd be surprised. Also there are a lot of fat people here so suddenly normal weight isn't half bad. Average can still be pretty attractive and can still make a mans day by talking to an average woman, don't hear this much from the reverse of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/22 08:13 PM
4

I'll agree with this but it depends what 1/3 they like. An ass man may pass up a butter face with a nice rack and no ass. Some guys who are more superficial may need the face to be good if they want to be seen in public with her, boobs/ass are maybe less important.

That could almost fit in #1 or 6. Also the cause of the adultery in the first place is always going to be another item in the list, in most cases adultery is just delaying a divorce that needs to happen for other reasons.

Either way, it just doesn't seem to fit with other generalizations we make in this sub. We use the Chad thing a lot since its a good extreme example, his desire for women has zero impact on how they feel about him.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:01 PM

I'm not sure this is true, usually when a guy comes across of having too much desire its described as being thirsty and a turn off.

Still plenty of attention, you think women that age don't get tons of attention on tinder too? I've heard even young guys are hitting them up.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 01:03 AM
7

How do you think your life would be like now if you were never able to grow out of your unattractive phase and experience the other side? I think the real issue here is the grass is always greener because it actually is, at least for a period of time. I'd argue living half your life on both sides is the best of both, unfortunately men never get that option, women get some later in life like 50+ and in your case got a little of both at a younger age which is less common.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:58 PM
3

It's more realistic if you replace sodomy with going out on a date with a woman you found attractive enough to go on a date with and she took advantage and had sex with you after you drank too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:48 PM
12

I took that into consideration in my response. It's fair that women are at higher risk of those things but it's rare enough to not care. Your still at greater risk to die in a car accident yet we still drive. Huge life improvement for minor risk is great.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:45 PM
8

As long as my risk of all those things was equal to a regular woman in her late 30s who lives in a nice suburb in the US then sure. A lot of attention for negligible risk increase sounds great to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:40 PM
1

Because personality matters more and you can still talk to them? Plus as someone else said if men find 80% of women attractive that's pretty good odds they find her acceptable when finally seeing what she looks like. They get the added bonus of establishing a connection not based on looks which helps long term because isn't that what most women want anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 08:07 PM
1

Who the hell is going to date a violent woman if there isn't some benefit like the sex? I was just trying to come up with some reason a guy might be okay with this for the purposes of the question, in general my answer is just "No, men are not attracted to that type of woman".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 12:57 AM
1

Yes that's true, I will allow a few years of experimenting especially college age. Knowing how many college relationships turned out I think casual is actually preferred at that age in retrospect. I think most healthy people will have their fun and quickly realize it's not for them, much better than wanting that fun 20 years later when your married.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 11:31 PM

Definitely a grey area, I actually think there is such thing as medium N count. That is someone who is not low but an acceptable threshold for you personally. Given the above I might reconsider an LTR if she was >30 count but 20 for a late 20s woman is acceptable to me and shows some restraint with how easy it is for women to get sex these days. On average it's 2 people a year since they started having sex. Meet a few guys you like on tinder some week then what do you do with the other 51 weeks …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 10:57 PM
2

If a guy likes a woman that fits this description it's probably because she's attractive and maybe the crazy type we hear is good in bed, all things equal I think we would prefer her not to be violent. With men you at least have the protection aspect, with women it's more likely they are going to start a fight with someone that you have to help assist so it's more of an added risk which is opposite of protection.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 07:39 PM
2

They aren't necessarily violent though, in fact I really hope they are not if they have guns. A violent female just seems like one who is more likely it try to hit you in an argument for something stupid. Problem is since they are female and your male they probably won't think twice about trying to hurt you because it won't be that bad, a violent male I hope at least shows some restraint because he knows what he is capable of.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 07:35 PM

I don't care about N-count. I care about attitude towards casual sex. What is a situation where those are not correlated? Loves casual sex but only been with 2 guys at age 30? Hates casual sex but has slept with 50+? The whole point of N count is "do their actions back up their words?".

People generally stay in their own social groups for most things including dating. Occasional boundary crossing but any extreme examples are not proof of some ongoing trend. A few women mentioned it here when they were younger, we still have various social groups when younger but its not as obvious until we get older. Some men/women might see potential in a partner to make up for the difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 04:13 PM
2

I agree with this, currently if you don't want an overweight woman you have to eliminate like 40% of your dating pool. It wouldn't completely close the gap but imagine if men suddenly had that many more possible options. Its a numbers game so every bit helps.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:19 AM

Other factors like personality, wealth, intelligence, skill level at things like sports would make it very much like todays society. Only real difference is there wouldn't be obvious people who have it too easy but those are sort of rare anyway, the top 20% and 1% would still exist. Also people will find out ways to dress to stand out a bit more looks wise.

I’ve come to the realization women don’t like “bad boys”. Women like attractive men. If a man is really attractive he has a lot more leeway to be a piece of shit. Its also sort of learned behavior with those guys. If a guy wants to maintain his relationship but women still stay with him after bad behavior he never learns not to do that stuff. Men say women have it easy because they do when compared to men. Of course some women have it much easier than others but for every woman not doing great, the male version of her is doing even worse. You might complain about your low numbers or low quality matches while men complain about their zero matches. I'm not saying you don't have it bad but the people complaining do have it worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 04:16 PM

Even I've done this and Im not even that successful with women, there could be absolutely nothing wrong with someone and you just found someone else to occupy your time so you just sort of stop contacting the other. It's not that they don't give a fuck, its just the reality of not being able to do everything (or every woman lol) at once. Most people do this with friends too, end up declining some to make time for others.

I think you are combining more than 1 type of woman here. The nice good girl who has only had 2 guys her whole life, there is no expectation for her to have sex within an hour of meeting. The problem is when you meet a girl who seems good and nice, but actually was not that type in the past and is only changing her behavior now to try to attract a LTR. If he's not into that it means your not compatible so no time wasted and no feeling insecure for him, win for everyone.

I think this is sort of natural so not much can be said of it really except sucks to be those guys (and women in some cases). We are programmed for natural selection and survival of the fittest, when you see things succeeding or trying to that otherwise shouldn't be its okay to have some negative feelings towards it.

It's all about total hours working, if one person makes so much more money then it's a question if the other needs to work at all. But if they do work then it very well could be the same hours which means no time for extra chores. Sounds like paying for a housekeeper is an option though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/22 03:27 PM
6

Applying for jobs is similar though, I know swiping is easier but the idea is the same, you often apply for more than you'd actually want, few are your ideal and just see what comes back and get the best of those, whatever little it may be.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 11:50 PM
1

Never said it was, the OP said dating for men is like looking for a job, a date is like an interview which is a small percentage of applications.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 11:46 PM
3

I don't think men do that any more than women do, plus most apps you get limited swipes per day unless you pay so gotta use them wisely by not swiping on fatties or ones you have zero chance with. Even women are somewhat picky when swiping but their match rate is so high even guys they found good enough to swipe on are suddenly not as great when they see their round 2 options (the matches).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 11:04 PM
14

Luckily you don't have to, ask any other woman who uses the app how many matches + likes she has at any given time. Matches are sort of on the user but I've heard "hundreds" for likes is the norm and can easily go 1000+. All of those are equivalent to job applicants that just get thrown away at the automated filters and/or never looked at.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:31 PM
15

Post a few personal ads or use a dating app (may not have been around when you were younger) and for sure you could hit "hundreds".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:27 PM
8

That doesn't mean they don't care. It really comes down to the fact more women have higher counts so unless they want to be single forever they have to be a bit less picky about it. I think it matters just as much, but what's considered "low" might just be a higher number these days. If a guy is high value enough to be picky a high number will certainly count against you vs some guy who takes whatever he can get.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 06:58 PM

In this case personality could just mean one of many character flaws that leads a relationship to a breaking point, she could still be great to talk to and hang out with but relationships have a lot of little complexities to them that you learn over time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/22 02:58 PM

Sounds accurate. Above average guys are technically getting above average results but it probably doesn't seem that way from their perspective, definitely don't have it easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/22 03:26 AM
2

Average is really guys in the 20-80% category which will have a huge variation. I agree a true average 50% guy isn't doing that bad but ones on the lower end of that can struggle more. They probably can get dates on apps but it doesn't come easy but not as bleak as some here describe.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/22 10:15 PM
1

You don't dump people when your happy. But that won't always be true and when little things become a bit less perfect, having other options will make your current situation seem that much more worse since you'll be comparing what you could have instead. Most divorces are initiated by women. Not everyone is as happy as you.

How can it not be when you have so many other options?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/22 06:45 PM

They are just practicing for when women are around. But actually, the alpha male is usually a predetermined thing from previous social interactions so when a woman is finally present everyone already knows who the alpha male is.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/22 01:39 PM

Even this is debatable, but less assume their chart is accurate for ratings. My problem is it doesn't fit the general population. The 5s here are attractive because outside of this infographic they are above the 50% for women. The women you see in the real world don't mirror the looks distribution of this chart.

I suppose that would depend on the quality of your boyfriend lol. And you can't really answer that since it would be a bit biased. Your SMV is close to that of some of his ex's probably.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 10:20 PM
8

Depends what you count as SMV, if it's to have sex then they are accurately estimating it. The "overestimating" comes from the women looking for a LTR and holding potential men to the same standard they used for hookups because the value for attracting for 1 thing is very different than the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 08:50 PM

At least in the US I think it's a huge factor and much of what we talk about here would be fundamentally changed if obesity/overweight was not a factor. I'd estimate that about half my dating pool is automatically disqualified from any LTR with me because of weight. Eliminating half right away isn't necessary a bad thing, except that tons of other guys are doing the same so you get a double effect of losing half the market plus other other half is suddenly in much higher demand as a result. At least regarding the first part of your post I think there is a false correlation there. Self improvement has nothing to do with keeping someone a beta especially when it comes to physical fitness. It's simply a means for lazy people to keep others down with them, especially obvious with diet as it's the fat ones criticizing someone for not enjoying food. Pretty sure attractive women who are into self improvement are not the ones saying "you're fine the way you are". The ones saying this stuff…

That is a relatively small percentage of the total market.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 01:03 AM

Sounds like one of those niche things where a majority of women are not into them but enough are that they will never have bad luck finding a woman. Lots of other examples of this, bodybuilding is one example. For the number of women who hate that look they seem to have an attractive partner most of the time. If your in the top 0.1% of something and 1% of women are into it, your doing 10x better than most guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/22 12:07 AM

Personally I'd be practicing hypergamy and disappoint a lot of women on my quest to find the best one. The more choices you have the harder it is to make a choice. And If I was ever having a bad day probably would go on a dating app to get some superficial validation as well.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 01:09 AM

I think it depends on how many dates you've been on and your situation. One person can give the exclusive ultimatum at any time so if a woman is still dating other guys it either means 1) you didn't ask her to stop 2) okay with her doing so because maybe you are too 3) not okay with her doing so but too beta to do anything about it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 06:53 PM
3

For sure, self confidence issues can definitely kill a relationship. Good example of when you need to stop and take care of yourself before involving another person in your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/22 12:54 AM
1

Hah that is true, if they were that confident about it they wouldn't mention it so much. I think its really just to constantly test those around them on their opinion of it to keep their social circle of only those who approve.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 11:30 PM
7

Especially because these women were just 100% evil to their boyfriends This is so true, women can be ruthless when it comes to that. At least when men do it they feel bad about it. Basically if they are not sexually satisfied by their man, then hes not a real man so no respect is required. Not sure men have an equivalent of that thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 11:23 PM
3

Not having a history of cheating isn't a very good indicator anyway. Being in a LTR for too long and/or having kids changes a lot and most people only have 1 relationship where they do that and things are tested so past experience isn't relevant there.

Yeah I think the problem on this sub is many seem to think high is the same as "not low". So in my example if 5 is low then its a bit of a stretch to say 6-10 is "high", need some middle ground. Having a little fun in college shouldn't label someone as high N count if they 1) Still very selective about their partners 2) Didn't do this most years of their life. Much different than the slut who sleeps with a lot of guys, then tries to have relationships that never last long which from the outside …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 05:16 PM
3

Yeah, just thinking of other numbers, 15 might seem high but it's not too bad depending on circumstances so I'd let that go as medium count. Low would be 5 or less. Gotta put it in context with how easy women can get sex. 2 guys a year is turning down a LOT of others and showing restraint and they still get labeled as high count, but gotta draw a line somewhere. A woman who considers herself a slut could be at 50+
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 05:07 PM
3

Average of 2 per year starting at 16 or so. Considering people are waiting longer to settle down mid/late 20s or later then your easily looking at women who have had 20+. Considering how easy it is for women to find even casual recurring sex on dating apps, 2 guys per year is really not much at all. Realistically they probably had some years with several guys and a few with 1 in a semi LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 04:58 PM
6

You are correct about the slut. The biggest issue I see is maybe you are overall a good lover, but every individual thing you do well, she has had better.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 04:55 PM

Neither of those are even high N count which is what your post is about.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 04:51 PM

What are these bad boys actually looking for though? If its stable women to start a family with then yes they are going to be low quality. However, if its not that then the definition of quality quickly changes and/or doesn't matter as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/22 04:15 PM
5

I think there is a big difference between having ONS and being sexually active/casual sex, so may need to clarify what your asking here. Getting ONS means being the the guy a woman breaks the rules for or "doesn't usually do this with". Casual sex could just mean your sort of dating, have sex fairly early on but it never really goes anywhere beyond sex then ends shortly after one of you realize this.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/22 07:19 PM
7

It's hard to measure this since it's a spectrum. Zero sex is much less common than occasional sex. And guys are sometimes to blame as well so sexless marriages are not always the woman's fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 11:55 PM
2

As an older married man, it's definitely much worse. Very hard to find a date when not in an open marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 08:53 PM

League is important. Men can be attracted to and have sex with women below their league. If your one of those women your setting yourself up for disappointment when the guy upgrades to someone in his league.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 02:38 PM
3

If that’s shaming then sure I guess I shame Not necessarily, I was mostly saying the definition of these words don't matter as much as one of the specific outcomes guys care about. Honestly not even sure what outright shaming someone would even mean in this context, first thing that comes to mind is what people might do in high school to make fun of someone but we are all adults here (well it is reddit so who knows).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/22 05:33 PM
0

I think when people are concerned about judging or shaming it actually the latter of what you said that concerns them. A woman losing whatever interest she might have had about you as a sexual partner is effectively being judged/shamed as far as I'm concerned. Like if she is not interested, does anything else really matter?

Nothing can be done about this, things are this way because of our biology. All things equal women will have slightly higher standards because biology requires it, this leaves men with no choice but to have slightly lower standards to compensate, the alternative is nothing. I don't think it's unreasonable to say some sex is better than no sex. Women who push this idea is just a polite way of saying some men have no right to spread their sub par genes and they should give up.

I think the great Michael Scott once said "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". Of course not, Chad is just the one who gets it the easiest and from better looking women. That isn't even that much, in 1 month its super easy to meet someone on a dating app and have sex after a couple dates all within a few week time span. A year is a long time, is it really that bad to do that a few times in a year? Even if your looking for a LTR you might go through a few of those to find someone. If the first sucked in bed or maybe even they thought you did, do you just give up for the rest of the year because you met your quota?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 04:22 AM

He would have had to avoided relationships like the plague for your math to work out. Given his age that isn't really a bad thing. These days at 21 I'd actually be more concerned about them having too serious of a LTR, risk of getting married too early is worse than having fun and many (safe) sex partners when your young. I say this as a parent who will worry about both of those for their kid in about 10 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 04:14 AM

Guys here often mention they like a girl to sleep with them early because most all women these days have done that with guys in the past. I'd rather have a girl sleep with me early than find out she slept with a bunch of other guys on the first date but made me wait. If she makes everyone wait that is a different story, but those women are rare these days so assuming they don't is a safer assumption.

This makes sense, I don't think women necessarily like the bully in any way but the person getting bullied is more unattractive if they had to pick between the 2. My personal observation many years ago was the guys who did best with women were neither the bully or bullied. The bullies (if good looking which was not always the case) did decent with women, definitely some women with issues themselves that might date this sort of guy but smaller dating pool than a traditional popular guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/22 04:16 PM

I very much disagree. Cheating is probably more common in general, but marriages are paradoxically more stable these days because the unstable ones dissolve so quickly. Cheating within the marriage is less common now than then. Not sure there is any real proof on this so can't really debate you on it, too many people lie its hard to get an accurate "poll" on this subject. Additionally we have more tools to combat cheating. Partners can easily spy on each other, you can do DNA testing, and so on.…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:31 PM

I'd agree with this too- but at least on cheating apps men far, far outnumber the women That doesn't say much, its the same on regular dating apps when the pool of married men vs women is about equal but still 10:1 ratio of users.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:14 PM
2

Its at least easier these days anyway, any woman who works instead of stays home with kids has a lot more opportunity, not to mention internet. Even if men do it more as well it takes 2 so theres an increase in women as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:12 PM
1

This is very true, men need a lot more years to accumulate the same number of partners as women get. There simply isn't even years for most guys to have fun and still commit in an LTR. Our "fun" years is a lot of dry spells, at least in an LTR you get weekly duty sex or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 06:51 PM

Most everyone who says the number doesn't matter still judges their partner on other qualities that are directly correlated to the number. Its like saying age doesn't matter as long as they can keep up physically, well then you probably don't want someone who is 80.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 04:03 PM

I feel like 100% of the time Queen = Being so in denial about their inflated SMV they actually believe it themselves and there is something wrong with all the guys not wiling to commit because they can't possibly be the root of their own problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 10:29 PM
1

Umm yeah, thought everyone knew this already
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 07:19 AM

It's not literally all, but rather a large majority. Given that it's pretty true what most people responded with so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 03:17 AM
1

I know its a ridiculous number but the same thing is true with a lower number, lets say 20 which is actually pretty reasonable for most people these days the time they turn 30. If its like 5-10 then maybe you gotta dig for more details but my point is that based on a number alone you don't need details for 90% of people. In your example if it was 4 from casual sex that means the person has probably never had a relationship before which is more of a red flag than 4 sex partners. For all you know …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 02:32 AM
1

What is an example of a N count of 50 that didn't involve casual sex? I'm saying it's impossible and the only reason people care about N count is because it's a quick way to identify "this person has had more casual sex than relationships" so I'm out. That's a lot easier than hearing about their entire relationship history plus you sort of need a count anyway because most people won't tell you about casual sex except throwing out a number on how many times it's happened.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 01:55 AM
1

So the number isn't irrelevant to you, it's 6 or more...
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 01:45 AM
2

For me the number is irrelevant. I prefer people who do not engage in casual sex. A high number 100% implies they had casual sex to get that high, you can't care about one and not the other. Its like saying how much money a guy makes is irrelevant, but you prefer to date guys who are rich. How does one get to 50+ N count without casual sex? By dressing nice and calling it formal sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 01:40 AM
2

She did pretty good on the show, if I remember correctly she could get most guys she wanted and was usually the one to lose interest and dump them. And her one semi LTR was a cool guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/22 04:22 AM
34

Totally depends on age, older is expected to have some period of LTRs that only had 1 partner for many years as well as no crazy years even if average is acceptable. Ie 40 year old who got divorced after 20 years and had 50 guys in a single year might have an acceptable N count for her age but red flag for anything serious. Yes that is an extreme example but illustrates my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/22 08:14 PM
3

That is the primary reason many are against universal healthcare, people with poor life choices disproportionately use the system so you end up paying more for them. If people want to be fat it should have zero impact on me or they will get shamed hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/22 06:15 PM
38

Maybe OP has another angle on this subject... 80% of men are unattractive so anyone they try to date is dating up LOL. If they would just be happy being alone we wouldn't have these problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 11:06 PM
3

I think the option of being able to do so is more important than actually doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 08:29 PM
6

Yep, there is nothing about TRP that implies not being loyal. It's fine if they are not ready to settle down but also can be honest about that so no loyalty is needed. Its fine as a dating strategy for young single guys because they shouldn't be getting married that young anyway, self improvement is more important since it sets them up better long term.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 05:06 PM
1

You can get better at sex without that many partners, many times with one is better than 50 one night stands. Who cares if she wanted Chad, guys don't get their ideal woman either.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 11:31 PM
1

It's beneficial to me because she did it a few times, has some experience and knows that's NOT what she wants otherwise her count would be like 50+. It's some serious incel shit to take it personally that a woman did anything with a guy prior to you unless you live in the middle east or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 09:49 PM
2

Ok maybe it's Chad but it can still be mutually beneficial, wanting a relationship is fine but she knows that won't happen and just enjoys the sex while it lasts not getting too emotionally attached. Much different than her getting played and upset about it later, that happening too many times is a red flag but what I described is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 09:03 PM
2

What do you mean for free? Women can like sex too it's not like she didn't get anything out of it. There are time for relationships and time for not, I specifically mentioned the college example because many women don't want a real relationship then. Most of them are relationships that both parties don't really expect to work out at least in retrospect.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 08:46 PM
0

Every situation is different, maybe that 4 was an 1 LTR that she broke up with not Chad, then some FWBs while in college each of which lasted several months. Totally reasonable and no red flags there. Put it in perspective that's 7 years of adult life of men constantly throwing themselves at you, never a day goes by you couldn't find a new hot guy to have sex with and the end result is only 4 different guys. No male with those options would be anywhere close to 4. For a 25 year old guy 4 is actu…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 08:21 PM

After a certain age zero is a red flag, nobody wants a completely inexperienced woman. It's reasonable she had a couple LTRs which involved sex. Imagine a 25 year old woman who never had sex she either 1) never had a relationship or 2) was with a guy for a year or more but zero sex. I wouldn't want to deal with either of those.

Speaking of cancelled, is Dan even in a position to be cancelled? Probably the more important thing in this question, he doesn't answer to anyone. Most celebrities or businessmen are selling their own image or product. I think if Dan was the CEO of some company there might be some public complaints about him but he's basically just an Instagram influencer so best you can do is unsubscribe.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 04:21 PM

Exactly, you only lead them on when the truth results in not getting what you want, in this case casual sex. Really the only reason anyone lies about anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/22 07:06 PM
2

Technically overweight is not average. Not sure on the exact numbers but I don't think more than 40% of people are overweight. An "average" person is right around 50th percentile in whatever your comparing them against so in this case they would not be in the overweight category.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/22 05:08 PM

There is a middle but a hypothetical question like this wants to know which of the 2 possibly undesirable traits you dislike the least, although many women appear to actually like one which is even better for OPs answer.

Men could increase their value to women by being just as selective as us but yall refuse So in my example, the guy who is average but can't find an average women so he dips his standards a bit to get dates, is supposed to now have higher standards and that will somehow fix the problem? He is already dating the best women he can find, his choices are women below his looks match OR be happy being alone. Women don't have this problem, at least to find a date in the first place. /r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 10:09 PM

Who's fault is it then? Men's main complaint here is that distribution curve for attractiveness is more skewed on the womens side which doesn't allow for equal pairings. Take a guy who due to genetics is exactly average, 50% of men are more attractive than him and the other 50% are less. An equivalent looking woman will not be interested in this guy because she can do better, which forces his only options to be less attractive women. Not to mention by doing that, women label him as desperate (li…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 09:28 PM

It was just confusing how you mentioned them using the 24 hour extend before saying they always reply. That implies it's a big factor in response success rate. The guys who don't extend probably don't care as much so they are less likely to respond to a message as well
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 09:28 PM
2

The equivalent for females would be like bottom 20%. Simply not being fat guarantees better success than even above average but not top men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 07:51 PM
2

So you only reply to the ones who extended?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 07:47 PM
2

She probably swiped more and got decent match count. Problem is there are too many guys to message so she just picks a top few which are exactly the ones least likely to respond. Then complains no one messaged back which is ironic because she didn't message most of them anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 07:46 PM
12

Yes exactly, I thought the entire point of bumble was so women didn't get overwhelmed with messages from guys. Very weird to choose a platform where that is the defining trait only to complain about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 07:31 PM
2

That is exactly it, the fact she had 3 guys choke her in only a months time is really telling of her dating process. Guarantee these guys give off similar vibes that a normal woman would pick up on and filter out fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/22 07:25 PM
2

But the problem is that's the only men many women are attracted to. Who wants the boring guy who does everything right. The fact she had 3 guys choke her unconsentually in only a months time says everything I need to know about what type of woman is posting this.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/22 07:21 PM
1

That's exactly it, there isn't necessary a word you label them but simply feeling jealous is enough. Same exact thing that goes with rich people, people don't go around praising them but they still want to be rich themselves. I doubt women get a similar feeling when they hear about another banging a bunch of guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 06:14 PM

The reality of the situation is most of the time it's good enough sex while checking all the other relationships boxes. Most relationships end up compromising on something since most of us are not 10s and can't get exactly what we want. When you finally find someone you can tolerate for long periods of time, is financially stable, likes your family, doesn't cheat, similar life path, attractive, etc. Basically passes all the deal breakers for a LTR and most importantly what people on the outside …

How old is the person
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 12:29 AM
3

Low, average 1 every 5 years Medium everything in-between (the average person fits here) High more than 2 a year on average I added medium because most people will have misc issues when they are medium and partner is in the high or low category.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 11:50 PM
2

So if I meet a 45 year old, should I expect her to have slept with 100 men? If you are bad at math and didn't understand what I said then sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 10:41 PM
6

I didn't say low, I just said not high enough to be a concern depending on the details. 2 a year isn't that much when your not in a serious relationship, in fact I expect it to be higher some years while maybe a few years in a LTR where it doesn't go up at all. The 40 year old woman in this case, 2 a year on AVERAGE isn't bad. But 2 a year consistently is a red flag because it means she has never been with the same guy longer than 6-12 months. Its all about a healthy balance between high and low…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 09:26 PM
2

Depends on age, let's say more than 2 per year average for each year after 18 or something. Not a hard rule but just throwing out rough numbers that might make me question things. Assumes it was spread out a bit too, like count of 30 is fine for woman in 30s as long as 20 of them were not the last year or something crazy. Some slutty years in college could be redeemed if more recent years proved she was okay, just don't want to be the first serious boyfriend after she decides to "settle down".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 08:56 PM
3

A lot of things have exceptions but in this case it's very hard to have high N count while also not fitting a bunch of other stereotypes, if it's high enough this mythical person probably doesn't exist. The only real discussion here is what "high" means, and there is some gray area.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 08:29 PM
13

What is a good context for a guy with large N count, let's say 100+? People say the raw number doesn't matter but there is often a high correlation with that number and something that does matter. The main takeaway is that the higher the number the less likely it comes to complete halt for the rest of their life with their next partner. It obviously gave them some satisfaction to get that high and people don't just stop doing things that make them happy, at least long term.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 07:45 PM

Because there are legal implications in paternity so it's nice to know BEFOFE it's needed where you stand in that area.

It would be good to normalize it so the men who shouldn't have anything to worry about can still feel comfortable doing so just in-case their SO was good at hiding things. You know lots of women would be upset their guy went through with this so need a way to minimize that stigma.

Does that sub ever say why they got to porn in the first place? That can be a factor too, many guys use it as a replacement for the sex they are not getting. Nobody cares about that problem though, but when a woman wants sex and her guy isn't interested or can't get it up, then sound the alarms.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/22 01:20 AM

Yeah an average woman who is thin is pretty damn attractive here actually, would go on a blind date with that description any day.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/22 01:19 AM

As an average girl, being with a man who watches porn involves the awareness that she's literally the ugliest woman he sees naked. It's a horrible thing. How could he not have some level of contempt for her, hidden or not? How can she feel aroused if she feels like a butt ugly warthog? It's bad sex for both partners. Alright, men are visual so naked is better than clothed woman I'll give you that. But women find attractiveness in other things, much of which is presented to them by various forms …

I swear a similar topic came up here last week, mostly regarding the fat acceptance movement. Other women encourage it because it keeps their SMV high. It's easier to stay on top if you keep others down, in this case encouraging them not to change. The best part is you can do this while coming across as positive, so it's a win win.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/22 05:19 PM

It's not as bad as you think, men are lazy and will look at whatever is thrown in front of them. You are right there is a certain look that is pushed more than others but it doesn't mean men dislike or don't like other things as much. Men feel exactly the same way you do except replace Brazilian with big with some celebrity male like Jason Momoa. Do women actually prefer him over real guys or is it just what the media pushes in our faces?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 04:57 PM

Men don't care much about blemishes though, if other women judge them negatively for it then I guess there is some merit to makeup
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 04:46 PM
1

Yes because they are proportionally stronger than most women so its reasonable for them to date men who are stronger than most men. Strong women on steroids have their share of guys who are into that but most men are not, in this hypothetical the strongest men would also be paired up with the strongest women while the average woman wouldn't be interested in them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 11:45 PM
2

I feel like if this happened preferences would be adapted a bit as well, women would have no reason to favor physically stronger men so the peak male specimen would be something a bit different, I'm just not sure what. Men are already bad at knowing what women look for in the other sex so reversing everything in this hypothetical makes it even more confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 11:26 PM

Most of the problems here can be prevented by not getting any women pregnant pre-marriage, not hard if you are smart about it. Also not every guy can pull this off when things decline in 40s, the ones who can, why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 04:57 PM

Even if women say no that doesn't mean they will be won't unhappy about it. No shame in ending a relationship you're unhappy in.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/22 05:18 PM

This basically comes down to what men consider wife material, too many women spend time on superficial stuff so they are just going to get superficial results. For every woman who complains they can't get a guy to commit there is another who found a guy pretty easily and isn't complaining about this stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/22 06:00 PM

I think it changes when you have a ton of money, most guys wouldn't pay for sex but if it costs equivalent to a Starbucks coffee most guys would. When you have millions the better quality escorts are relatively cheap.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 04:26 PM
-1

Yeah the fluctuations mess up the average which is why they have much lower drives than men as a whole. Saying they are equal to men is like saying women make as much money as men, there are literally millions of women who make more than millions of men but with all those counterexamples its still a false statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 05:37 PM
11

And I always laugh when the topic of women want sex just as much as men comes up on Reddit. Usually the "proof" of this is some woman's story about how her last few boyfriends had low sex drive or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 05:13 PM
1

I think OP may not be accurate in the statement because there might be minimal overlap between the guys consuming this stuff vs the ones complaining about the women. I don't subscribe to these women and would never pay for their only fans, guys who do are sort of pathetic. Besides, the only real complaint we have on these women is we would never date them. If they are successful at getting men to give them money more power to them, maybe helps bridge the gender pay gap I guess?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/22 03:41 PM
1

Sometimes its better to try and fail than to never try. Plus in this case they might get something so its not a complete loss. Sort of like working minimum wage vs no job at all.

3

Radiating disapproval... For lack of better words that is actually pretty accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/22 11:46 PM

Women by far do the most rejecting as a group by making it clear most men don't have a chance with them and waste of time and embarrassment for a guy to even try with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/22 11:15 PM
6

A bigger factor might just be what the men in the rest of the country look like. Its not that women are necessarily attracted to their look, its that they are closer to most men except they are richer/famous. Their look is just "different" than the average somewhat attractive guy, not the opposite. Most guys are not super masculine, so there are other qualities women look for.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/22 05:36 PM

This experiment would go wrong from the start, the guy she pics as "average" would just be at the bottom of the top 20% since all the ones below that are "unattractive" which is below average by her definition. So this average guy would be better than 80% of men making the experiment flawed.

#3 has some nazi tattoos? I would not be surprised if some radfems are fucking white supremacists on the down low. It was either this sub or /r/tinder but I saw some social experiment where a hot guy had racist tattoos and still got tons of matches, pretty sure faked photos since guys who look like that don't have those sort of tattoos. Based on the convos the women weren't secretly racist or anything they just didn't care because looks > everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 05:34 PM

The sex one, I don't care too much about what people think of me unless it impacts sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/22 06:59 PM

“nah man, confidence is way more attractive. Looks are overrated”. They are both important, if you only have 1 of course people are going to say the other is more important since its the thing holding you back. Sort of how money "isn't important" unless you don't have any.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/21 05:52 PM

This is the simplest CMV ever. You say men rarely approach you, most men NEVER get approached by women so you are already having more success than men. Sounds easy to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/21 05:55 PM

If none of them are good, then you picking a bad one and fucking up is no longer your Or more likely the good ones aren't picking you, also ego protection.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/21 10:55 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/21 06:00 PM

The real issue is that BP mostly correlates to people not interested in this stuff so of course its going to be hard to get a good representation.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/21 09:50 PM
2

The reality is that most men are NOT like this. Its possible some exist but there are probably more men who exist that might lie or exaggerate their feelings in this area because its what you want to hear. I really don't have any advice on separating the two especially since men can change over time and/or be in denial about what they want for themselves especially when a relationship with an attractive female is on the table.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/21 08:17 PM
5

I think most guys on this sub don't think that's true. She needs an emotional connection for LTR but still has physical needs while waiting for that to come along.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/21 04:19 AM

Ultimately it comes down to the evolutionary aspect of passing your seed. You either seal the deal or you don't, nature doesn't care about any of the in-between stuff like feelings. With no sex there is little difference between what you guys have and being friend zoned, the fact you are hooking up with someone else and not him really makes that comparison valid. Actually ignore that last sentence... you friend zoned the guy and are asking why he doesn't feel validated just being friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/21 09:27 PM
7

Body count of 5 is arbitary, what if its 6 We should make some sort of a formula for this, factor in age minus years in LTRs with a small window for a higher count to be reduced a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/21 05:19 AM
0

just be sure you're compatible in your sexual drives That's why N count tends to be a problem, with the same sex drive the woman has easier time actually getting it so the count tends to be higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/21 05:16 AM
2

They usually have multiple because the odds are so bad for them on each one.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 06:53 AM
7

How ugly we talking here? I bet a less attractive but decent looking woman would still do pretty good. Hot women quickly get passed on for looking like fake/catfish/scammer/sc promoter or simply being out of your league when you gotta save your swipes on the free version of the app. Less attractive can be an easy hookup for hot guys and actually someone the rest of the guys have a chance with (except they don't because every other guy has the same idea).
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 06:03 AM
8

I wonder if women are simply more likely to be fly-by-night users of OLD whereas guys tend to be long-term users more often. That is probably accurate, based on the math if a woman leaves the site and takes a man with her the ratio is worse than when they were both on. Of course, how it got to that situation in the first place is what we are really asking here.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 05:57 AM
2

No way that explains the significantly higher ratio of men, maybe 5% at most fit this category but we are talking about something like a 5:1 ratio which means 400% more men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 05:46 AM
1

but do you think they also have a lower desire for companionship They can meet part of that desire with other platonic female friends more so than men can. Part of it is just how female friends can be deeper than mens.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 05:43 AM
14

I see a lot of guys in bars and clubs going it alone or with one other guy but women usually have 3-4 other women with them Aren't bars/clubs also known to have sex ratios with more men? If this were ever not true there would immediately be more men there to correct it, unless its the best kept secret in town.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 05:39 AM
3

It must be option A because its the only one that actually explains the bad ratio. The others are simply swipe left/right preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/21 05:37 AM

Also, if she says no, don't whine or ask why This is surprising, guys hate rejection and one good indicator she will reject you is that she just rejected you.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/21 09:26 PM
3

I might as well ask them out So as part of the question asks, how many guys missed this obvious signal.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/21 09:19 PM

Women want things easy too, it's human nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 04:46 PM

Guys want the girl who breaks this rule but just for him because they like you so much. The problem is most women break this rule enough times its not really a rule anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 01:34 AM
8

There are plenty of guys who are not into this stuff, me included. The women who like this are more vocal about it so guys feel like they need to do all this to keep up. Not only do men have to worry about dick size but also not being kinky enough for what women want these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/21 12:46 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/21 02:19 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/21 06:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/21 04:32 AM
0

And it's even worse because guys know they want validation so they give it to them. The actual hot women you don't need it and too much is probably annoying, kind of why negging works.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/21 02:30 AM
0

Yeah, it's not that they are attractive it's that attractive men can queue up these women with little effort on dating apps so they never have a dry spell. When these women have success with guys it's because the first 4 women they asked were already busy that night. Back in the day these women were not worth the effort in approaching. It's just a numbers game and numbers are higher today.

If you spend anytime in this sub you'll know more women being sluts doesn't benefit the sex lives of most men. Your entire premise is invalid because of that misunderstanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/21 02:52 PM

Fat girls tend to hide it well online and will have better pics which may skew results, ultimately most guys meeting them and showing any interest are due to lack of options, either short or long term until something better comes up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/21 02:19 PM

Those are the exception not the rule. If men rated all thin women like 90% would be 7+. The meth head might be a 2 but nobody sees those on tinder.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/21 07:00 AM
2

Unattractive normal weight girl is still equal to a slightly more attractive bigger girl, without knowing full details anyway. By fat I assume we are talking about unattractive belly area. If the are proportioned well we just call them thicc not fat, generally that corresponds to flatter stomach but big other things.

At a high level this is pretty accurate. My only 3 comments. Thin -> flat stomach, can be thin or thick depending on preference. 9/10 doesn't always make money on their looks which actually makes them more valuable, what Chad might pick for a wife if he wants to settle down especially at early age. Non obese girls can still be less than 7 but it's pretty rare, occasionally see a 3-5 at normal weight. It's the exception and discussions on this sub are great for categorizing 80% of people so I gen…

Not having high standards for wife means more likelihood of wanting a divorce later, why would you not have high standards? Not having high standards for a ONS means sex with a less than ideal woman instead of masturbating.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 06:08 PM

Random people also includes your future dating prospects. You would be less in demand by the other sex so the quality partner you can obtain goes down quite a bit from what your accustomed to. My entire point is that being treated like the average guy has a cost associated with it you may not realize because you've never experienced it. The grass is not greener and you have it better by keeping things the way they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 09:06 PM
0

Your right a lot of the attention they get is from low quality guys but it's a numbers game for them just like us. If a woman gets attention from 100 guys throughout a week (little things like a glance at the supermarket count) she probably could find a decent guy in the span of a few months via traditional dating methods. Now if a woman doesn't even get eye fucked by desperate low quality men what do you think her dating prospects look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 09:00 PM

I meant 20 years of being an adult, so closer to 40. Friends and hobbies are no replacement for the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 08:54 PM
1

That's great but off topic for this post we are discussing. The trade off was experiencing what its like for the AVERAGE man. Now it seems you just want to be less sexualized but still have all the other benefits that come from being a woman and getting attention from the opposite sex. Of course you want the best of both (don't we all) but that isn't the topic here. With all the attention you get I'm sure your partner is a great guy, above average most likely to have stood out from the rest. If …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 08:10 PM
2

My point was there would be no partner in the picture, to magically get this no attention thing you crave it means your partner would break up with you OR you would have never got together at all. What you are wishing implies being single indefinitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 07:43 PM
1

Being ignored by random people also comes with being ignored by everyone you WANT attention from. You mentioned having a partner so that would include him ignoring you as well.

I understand the problem but it's just a symptom of having too many people interested in you. It may sound nice to have the complete opposite of that but it comes with its own set of problems. The grass is always greener but you currently have the better of the two extremes so it's hard to hear people complain about it... One might even say quiturbitchn
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:32 PM

Friends are no substitute for intimacy from opposite sex. Women giving advice and tips on this stuff is equivalent to rich people telling poor people they don't need money to be happy. Having options and not exercising them is way different than no options in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:13 PM

Yeah but after 20 or so years of this you start to feel lonely and unwanted. And at that same point your already getting older and only gets worse from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 04:23 PM
2

Maybe the people talking about having a responsive sex drive aren't the same as the ones talking about having a high libido Probably right, the fact that more men (almost all really) have a spontaneous desire and women are more split on spontaneous/responsive is really the proof that men on average have higher libidos. The women with spontaneous desire are the ones quick to enter this conversation but they are really the minority so their experiences are not a good picture of genders as a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/21 05:37 PM
5

Its also one of those things they all have 1 counterexample for like "I had a much higher sex drive than my ex". Would be like women saying they are taller or equal height as men because they occasionally meet guys shorter than them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/21 04:30 PM
6

Yeah discussions like this are dumb because each gender doesn't know what its like to be the other, but evidence like that makes it obvious. Also the fact men lower their standards for sex, if a woman is horny and doesn't want to have sex with an average but not bad man then perhaps she just isn't that horny after all. Many women have responsive desires but some claim to have a high sex drive. If the slightest thing doesn't turn you on constantly then maybe your libido isn't as high as you think…

Lots of women probably had a hookup with a guy like that once when he was drunk and low on options one night. Therefore that's their forever standard of what guy they can pull and just having "bad luck" since then.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/21 06:18 AM

Not sure it really counts if his only strategy is dumping women before they get tired of him, for all we know they are equally as bored but hes the rich/famous one so they just deal with it til its over. Most girls these days have had at least some hookup experience even if they didn't like it and don't make it a regular thing. Any guy they date afterwards ends up waiting longer for sex than some of her past partners which makes them question if they are hot enough, etc. The female equivalent of this experience is finding a guy you really like who has had some LTRs and you think is husband material. If a woman wants money she can work on career, if she wants to be sexy and appeal to men she can work on that. If she wants both she can do both just like men do. Men complain about women doing 1 and expecting the other for free.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 09:10 PM

Well which item on the list do you doubt me on? Also, you don't know me in person can't really group me with the guys you do know.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 09:03 PM
2

I would fit that criteria on the list. I know most guys wouldn't but they can lower their standards, why should I?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:57 PM

I agree there but what if circumstances were fairly normal like boyfriend of few years accidentally doing it. I had a few close calls with wife over the years. No birth control is 100% effective.

1

In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:43 PM
2

Nobody is perfect or claimed the woman who fits that list would be. I wouldn't worry about men's standards. If they are high it means they have too many choices and just need a filter, they can't date everyone. If they are too high they will keep lowering to a realistic level or be single forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:42 PM

The question here is simply what guys look for in a long term relationship. Nobody ever said anything about minimizing chance of divorce, best you can do there is find someone your compatible with and hope for the best. In my case someone compatible generally fits that description, not rich but middle class at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:35 PM

In most cases this is the woman you plan to have kids with, so yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:26 PM

These days, just being a healthy weight will get them there most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:22 PM

The list was long but none of the traits are that hard, it's mostly what I consider a normal mentally health person who probably had a good upbringing. Depending on what social circles you run in this is not hard to find. Most women I know from college or work fit most of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 08:17 PM

This! A better question is why do women have such interest in not avoiding pregnancy but little in making sure child can be supported financially without getting government involved

As a male the last thing I want in a woman is one who modifies their car. Just makes them sound high maintenance and irresponsible with money.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/21 01:47 PM

If you use a human being because you are desperate while also being obsessed w mocking them that's kinda like low key inhumane and evil. Historically humans are pretty good at that stuff. Not even sure what you are getting at with the above. Of course its not fat womens fault, many reddit men are sexless, women are not inanimate objects, people are mean. All of that being true or false has no effect on your premise "men are secretly attracted to fat women"
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 11:53 PM
5

If they are its only because of lack of options. If you read this sub frequently you'll see many men are sexless so many will take what they can get which is often after long periods of realizing its that or nothing. Most people will eat not so great food when they are hungry, that doesn't mean they secretly like it all the other times.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 11:03 PM
8

What view are we trying to change here? You said > I think 15% of men would have sex w a fat woman and 5% would date a fat woman publicly. That's not "most men" by any definition
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 09:33 PM
3

See.. that just sounds like a shitty GF. The whole point of improving your SMV is getting a better partner, not being better at dealing with the BS they throw at you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 03:58 PM
2

I guess, what would be an example of bullshit? A more subtle one, not super obvious like her cheating on you or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 03:36 AM

Onlyfans isnt the dating market, it's the guys who can't get dates market.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 12:44 AM

What do you define as "weak" here? I'm not sure that is the same as beta (which just means not alpha).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 09:56 PM
10

I'll go with this answer too. One problem with this question is I'm not sure what things would even increase my SMV. Steroids I guess it depends on the woman? Not all like that look
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 09:29 PM

How about a slightly above average looking beta?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/21 06:44 PM

Whats the difference between poly and open relationship? Or is there even a difference? From what I know about this stuff it seems like there is a huge spectrum once you leave monogamy and the problems OP mentioned may not apply to all situations.

Maybe they were a little below and this IS the improved version at least with aspects they could control
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/21 02:42 PM

With option A I'd be worried she would leave or cheat on me or something, or even me getting bored with it. With what I know about managing money I'd be much more confident that my long term situation wouldn't change on option B.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/21 06:57 PM

He really is, the premise of his post is based on the fact he is matching with the same girls all the hot guys are. If he actually isn't attractive he just proved himself wrong but most likely he is just one of the guys he complains about.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/21 02:17 PM
3

I've been in an LTR for like 15+ years so just know what I do from observations not practice. This fits thought right? Just meet and be friends with as many people as possible even if a girl is not available currently she may be potential in the future?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 04:55 AM
7

Lol, welcome to one of the major "problems" discussed way too often on this sub, the primary one is getting a girl in the first place so if you get that far consider it a success.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 12:06 AM
8

I don't think age matters, its that when the good ones are single its for short periods of time. They could be 30 and get into another relationship that doesn't last long and single again by 31 and obviously many relationships before that. You just have to find them in-between those short gaps. Its a numbers game, to find a good one in a short relationship gap you gotta always be meeting new people.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 10:06 PM

I'm sure a few would stand out that would it easier to ignore the others. So my situation wouldn't be much different than it is now, just my choices would be higher quality.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/21 10:30 PM

That's why your supposed to talk to them online until you are comfortable meeting, and then meet in safe public place. After that you basically know them as well as anyone IRL you would date.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 06:38 PM

It's not crusading it's just casual comments here and there which reveal how they really feel about it. Think what women might say when the topic of Leonardo DiCaprios dating life comes up.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 02:47 AM
1

It's okay to value attractiveness but can be considered shallow if you prioritize it too much. It's their loss through, prioritizing attractiveness over other factors that make you compatible with someone leads to unhappiness, but at least your GF is super hot so you look happy from the outside I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 06:12 PM
5

Based on some comments I would estimate at least half the women who answered could easily change their situation if they wanted, seems like they go out of their way to stay under the radar in some cases. There are some who may not be ugly but legitimately feel a bit bad for although most guys have it worse so I can't care too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 05:48 AM

Why do you think there is a difference with married guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 05:45 AM

Age is a big factor, any female who looks decent plus size will not age well.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 12:36 AM

does watching Tiger King confirm that men are degenerates that want to raise wild animals as pets and hook their lovers on meth as a way to keep them? Well as a non-Chad who reads this sub a lot that doesn't sound like a bad idea to be honest...
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 11:00 PM

Maybe it means don't settle to be just friends. Think of women friends as potential mates, if they don't think the same about you then you are doing something wrong or at least have something to improve on
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 05:41 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 06:57 PM

Women do this to impress other women too though. They have to right? If they only wanted to impress men there is much better uses of time and money than makeup. Especially when some men prefer none, its like they are going out of their way to make themselves less appealing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 11:32 PM
2

Well maybe not the same, but if a guy is waiting for sex with one woman there is no obligation to be exclusive and they are free to have sex with others. Bottom line is a guy doesn't need to go without sex so why does it matter if one woman he is seeing makes him wait?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 07:25 PM

As long as men can do the same thing I don't see a problem

/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 11:53 PM

What did you put for age range? That could be a big factor. Finding someone age 30 with certain traits is 10x harder than finding someone 25-35
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 11:46 PM

That's not how it works in reality. Even guys who approach women only do so to a small fraction of the ones they find attractive. And many don't approach at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 01:41 AM

They wouldn't, but if he does hang out it means she's attractive so whats the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 10:20 PM
2

Only requirement is at least one person is not attracted to the other. Bi person can have unattractive friend, friend who is not attracted to them either by looks or sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 12:10 AM
2

Seriously? Because they are rare and rare things have value?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 04:26 PM
2

Your not wrong, but there is a large movement to make men and women more equal except it will never gain traction on areas like this so the end goal will be unequal with women having the advantage.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/21 05:45 AM
1

Men already do this. Yes the average person sucks but nobody is perfect even the better than average ones. Men have already prioritized what they want and yes it often comes at a cost to other factors they didn't consider. That's what dating is for, when it doesn't work out move on and lesson learned.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 07:27 PM
1

Is that even possible to be that weak and look like your not?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 03:11 PM

I like how a 175lb bench press made the list but those didn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 03:10 PM

Isn't it pretty well known men have lower standards for sex but normal standards for marriage? There is no changing trend here. Its only pride if everyone knows who these women are and your putting pics of them on social media, that's saved for the LTRs so who cares what you do in the meantime?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 03:14 AM
2

It's not the same, men want to feel wanted. Some guys can accomplish this being single but most can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 06:33 PM

I thought we knew this already, FDS is just like TRP but for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 06:38 AM
1

For sure
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 02:24 PM
2

Not really because they lack the experience in sex and possibly relationships as well. You get the best of everything with low N count women. It's even better if she's had sex before and thinks your better, a virgin will always be wondering if they missed out. It's seriously a red flag these days, maybe it works if you marry your high school girlfriend but everyone over 20 knows that's a horrible idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 06:35 AM
3

That isn't necessarily a problem but there is no reason for the guy to be exclusive in those early stages then. No sex is only a problem if it's withheld while still having an expectation to not do it with anyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 02:13 AM
11

What if she does anal with you but not all your teammates and won't let you film? Shes only half attracted to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 02:05 AM
18

My wife has sex with me sometimes but never does any of those other things...
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 02:02 AM
3

Self improvement for most guys is just so they can attract higher value women
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 01:23 AM
1

You might be right, it's probably like 20% or less of women who mention height in bios and most of them are probably on the taller side and simply want a guy to be the average 3-4 inches taller than her. The remaining profiles are less common but easily noticed after seeing hundreds of profiles.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 10:37 PM
1

Get several larger women to be interested in you and ghost them for someone normal weight but average who has things in common with you. Will get you out of this rut and improve confidence!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 10:31 PM
1

Just curious what do you mean by "frame"? I don't see that used much here or elsewhere to describe people
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 10:20 PM
2

How do you know 6'6 isn't significantly preferred?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 10:18 PM
0

Depends what kind of guys you want. I'd probably like you but can see how you may not be most guys type.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 01:43 AM
1

There is a high correlation between you liking a girls personality and her liking yours. The more important factor here is how much she likes you. It would suck being married to a stunning woman who eventually in marriage was just not that into you, rarely had sex and constantly worrying about other men interested in her while dealing with those issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 06:47 AM
2

That makes sense, and they actually get it sometimes when one of those guys doesn't feel like putting in much effort. Not talking Chad here but just someone who could do a LOT better.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 06:42 AM
1

It can happen to anyone
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 06:14 PM

Nobody is saying every woman, its just more common and even if they don't cheat they can still be unhappy or wish they were cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 06:13 PM

I remember having to work in a particularly upscale neighborhood last year, and wondering why the guys I saw there were so disproportionately attractive I guarantee there is a correlation besides clothing there as well, I'm sure the clothes made it seem all that much better though.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:46 AM
1

Jeans and a white shirt is completely fine and look great. So the king of the hill look?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:44 AM
3

Since this is PPD everyone should understand this, the guys who can get women can break these dress rules without any problems. If your deal breaker is cargo shorts you're on thin ice to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:42 AM
2

Gotta set the right tone from the beginning or she will never let you wear them to the wedding
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:38 AM
1

My question too... where are you supposed to put all your cargo without the shorts??
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:35 AM
1

It would help but needs to start from the top (the most high value men). If men in the top 10% stop dating or hooking up with anyone in the bottom 90% that immediately eliminates most women's ideal prospects which will cause them to readjust their standards. Obviously the same would need to happen at each level but it would really change the dynamic if half the men were suddenly out of reach for half the women. There are some decent women still in that bottom half but since my standards suddenly…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/21 11:07 PM
2

This isn't that surprising, women should still teach their guys how to improve, then one day they can be the best for some other woman who isn't her.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/21 06:27 PM
2

As much as I believe the 80/20 rule or 5% as you say, the reality is guys below that do get something but it's after tons of effort and it's still not much. So there would be a noticeable improvement for a lot of guys if a bunch of others left.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/21 03:33 PM
2

That doesn't make sense here though, men will fuck anything so they end up with more attractive younger women than their older counterparts? Okay! Where do I sign up?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/21 02:38 PM
3

Size? Although it sounds like there is a better punchline to that joke
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 04:49 AM

So these guys do have a legit chance at least? Even if odds are not in their favor
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 09:48 PM

Like a date just to get free food?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:32 PM

To be fair they did say "perfectly good hot dog". Maybe within the 5 second rule still?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:18 PM
2

It's all relative, once you have more options you start noticing flaws in things especially if your friends have something nice, then that's your new minimum if you want to stay in that social circle.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:18 PM
5

Since you saw pics, was it at least an impressive deck though?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:15 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:12 PM

We choose to make it harder on ourselves which is why they don’t want to hear us complain about it This is it right here. Also it hurts men even more when not only do women complain about it, but still hookup with guys because if they are going to be single for a while they at least won't be sexless.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:11 PM
12

"I only eat 100% american beef hot dogs." Ladies, I accept both chat request and DMs. RIP my inbox... hopefully.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 08:03 PM

Probably muscles too if they are interested in dating them, its really just one of many potential openers to show interest. But most cases females don't want or need to show interest so they hold off on the compliments. As others said men are just saying it because they recognize the hard work, there is little risk of "He might think I'm interested sexually if I say this".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 06:55 PM
2

Yep he is just a stereotype, some men may fit it pretty good but are rare. There are a lot more guys that are almost Chad like and many would consider them one but might have a few shortcomings from the over hyped version talked about here.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/21 10:24 PM
3

Tricked? They are easy to get for some guys, and most know from experience they are NOT easy to get for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/21 04:17 PM
11

The problem is social media apps have made guys that are 7+ easily available to most women. A guy who is a 5-6 isn't ugly, but is kind of left resentful as a result of this situation. And all the ones below that, who gives a shit? They are starting to get in the ugly territory and society is okay with that which is a different convo entirely.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/21 03:38 PM
141

Everything you mentioned involves dating. You missed the biggest unfairness of them all which is ultimately what men complain about. They can't even get dates in the first place. Dating is fair to those who are able to play the game, so these men aren't dating...
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/21 02:49 AM

Hopefully my wife disagrees
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 07:01 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/21 08:01 PM

They might be doing so only because they agree with OP, of course they will never tell you this do you'll never know...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 02:37 PM
3

Duty sex, what you are advocating for can be damaging as well. Women can develop an aversion to sex if they end up doing it at times they don't really want to, which makes the cycle of mismatched libidos even worse in a relationship. In fact I'm pretty sure this cycle has damaged more couples sex lives than porn has. What do you think is more common? Women who have sex with their husbands just to make them happy, or men who get addicted to porn? Better be the former or you are just not living in…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 06:03 AM
3

And I'm simply saying I'd never want to date a man who had that POV And those men are 100% trying to avoid someone like you so it works out perfectly really.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 05:32 AM
7

It helps to know she was like that at one point in the relationship for you. Take someone just barely attracted to you in your 20s, how do you think they are after 50? There is always a decline that's why you gotta start as high as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 05:29 AM
1

The same girl who desires you and is always on your dick may also be the same girl who is berating you about the women on your social media, wanting to spend every second with you and causing issues when you can’t keep up with her clinginess. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? You will naturally get small breaks from clinginess and she will want you even more when you return. If shes always on my dick who cares about social media?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 05:27 AM
3

It's always been a problem I was just too dumb to know any better when I was younger, I assumed it was normal for the male to be short on sex since we have higher libidos.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 03:01 AM
4

I would see if she would be willing to add in another day or 2 Yeah that isn't going to happen, duty sex isn't enjoyable for either of us. Her compromise is to not care about porn since it doesn't bother her as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 02:56 AM
6

Ive tried everything there is to try basically, it comes down to the fact she only needs sex 1-2 times a week which isn't unreasonable really. If I need 5-7 why can't a couple of those be porn and other days I just do without?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 02:36 AM
1

Or understand why she doesn’t feel in the mood all the time Is it reasonable for her to be in the mood "all the time"? Probably not. What is an acceptable amount of time to be in the mood though? Assuming all other issues were taken care of. And isn't it reasonable I might still be in the mood x2 as much? Hence the justification for porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 01:57 AM
8

Are you helping around the home so she isn’t tired? Yes and I'm usually tired too which is why I try to initiate earlier in the night but she just tells me "later" is better for her but then she is asleep before then Are you initiating foreplay? Always Has she actually been orgasming in the past because if not there’s less incentive for her As part of foreplay yes, no PIV until she cums
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 01:53 AM
6

Maybe he could give it a try? Might interest him in sex to fix the DB you guys have...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 01:50 AM

Most people wouldn't date an addict of any kind, so this isn't saying much

How often is your husband interested in sex when you are not?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 01:46 AM

Serious question, is this whole post because your husband chose porn over you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 01:39 AM

Let's return to the days men satisfied their urge for novelty with prostitutes then. I'm sure you all would be happy then Don't forget rape, which has declined a lot the last 30 years.

Depends on the woman We are talking on average here, there are exceptions but its universally accepted men have higher libidos. By your logic the next time I see a discussion on the wage gap where women make less than men I'll just chime in with "Depends on the woman". Check and mate!

Indefinitely... about 50% of people manage to do it, based on divorce statistics. All men are asking here is to find a woman who is in the top half of the relationship picking spectrum. It may be hard to predict but there are a lot of factors that greatly improve your success if you filter out people on some basic red flags.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/21 10:04 PM
2

Often it means they choose (or accidentally if that is any better/worse) to have a child in a relationship that most likely had some red flags. Most breakups or divorces have sign of problems before it actually ends, having a child when there are signs of problems is a red flag on the womans part. Note that most of the hate on single moms is when the kids are still young, meaning they went from baby to single very quickly. If kids are older like high school age it means they were able to maintai…

People might change over time but at any given age there is both AF/BB. You lose some AF with age but also gain some who were kind of close when younger but not quite there. I would even argue certain guys simply gaining some financial status puts them in the AF category after a certain age. If they are borderline the money may help improve their confidence and image.

This seems like a lot of time to devote to someone you have no long term interest in. Why not just keep options open and if you meet someone else who seems more interested in you let her know you gotta end it because she was moving too slow.

ONS and causal sex don't have to be so closely related, if what you say is true the casual sex one can easily be made healthy, just avoid ONS.

Regarding the comment I replied to, in those examples the women were probably more attractive at time of marriage than when observed in these relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/21 10:23 PM

It's been established here men have lower standards as long as sex is on the table. See how long a marriage with a plus size woman and dead bedroom lasts with a tall fit doctor, who works daily with nurses.

For LTR not that extreme, if no kids preferably zero pounds overweight then one day that extra 15 won't be so bad. Seems like most women gain some weight in relationships so it's better to have a low started weight

/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/21 06:21 AM

I'm well aware what most middle age men look like so I understand the women in these cases, there are exceptions though like when a man can easily get sex elsewhere. Most guys not getting any at home would not fair well if single so kind of side with the wife on those.

Yes, the top 20% of women want the top 20% of men I'd argue its top 5-10% of men, remember the other large group of women chasing these guys too and not everyone is going to share the ones at the bottom.

This fits the description well of what I've read here before, sexual harassment doesn't apply to Chad (or in this case a guy she is interested in). You gotta push some so called boundaries but only if shes into you, and that is not always easy to tell for average guys who don't get the obvious signals.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 05:01 AM
2

If you are in a LTR for too long you run the risk of the other person getting bored of you, no one is immune. Even the best people have qualities you will grow to dislike. Some exceptions of course but that applies to non Chad as well.

They only dislike shallow women because they are rejected by them, as soon as one accepts them its a success and they are no longer considered shallow (by that guy). As long as you have a non 0% chance on tinder you keep trying. From what I've heard on how bad it is, its never zero. For lack of alternatives men have persistence.

What is the real difference between this and people under 30 dating? If we are talking about online dating its clear women can easily get dates with guys a bit out of their league. In that case its always the guy who would do the dumping since he can do better for an LTR. I think the only real difference is 20 year olds know its short term and don't get mad when it ends like this, 30 year olds might actually want something more and you get surprised pikachu when they repeat things they did in th…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 11:51 PM
5

Doesn't the age matter a lot here? For an unmarried 30 year old that doesn't seem bad at all, could have been like 0 in high school, 5 in college, 2 from LTRs, 3 from someone they dates for several months.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 08:21 PM
4

It highlights fundamental compatibility issues though, its not that high/low is bad, it means there are other implications of that number. There may be some exceptions but this sub is mostly about generalizations which is fine for the topics discussed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 05:50 PM
6

I have a preference for men who have the same What about 0 though? There is a big difference between 0 and 1 especially as you get older, a perfectly normal guy could have easily got in a LTR at an early age and had sex daily for years with N=1.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 05:48 PM
1

Yes but there isn't as much, you'll miss a lot of good material if you filter for older only. Have to partially watch 10 clips to find 1 good one so I'm not going to search for something that eliminates 95% of the material.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 02:37 PM
4

There isn't exactly a ton of material with older women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 04:57 AM
19

My point was the guys she dates might go to those parties as well but she doesn't go home with them. The end result is still the thing many guys here complain about, she choose another guy over you, unless it's under circumstances she wants to settle down and stop partying.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 08:22 PM
48

When I was younger I did all these things and didn't have much success. The guys who have it on easy mode are out doing these things too so your always competing against them. Sure if they all stayed home I'd have better luck, but they don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 08:06 PM
1

I have a better solution to this, that ideal women you just described sounds pretty top tier to me, why not bump her up a few levels. Many men would prefer that over the other one which kind of makes her higher valued by definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 06:03 PM

Why does this topic come up so much here? I thought it was mostly settled/agreed upon.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 05:54 PM

There is a big difference between fat and fat bottomed though...
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:09 PM
1

How old are you? They generally care eventually for LTRs after a certain age.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:01 PM
2

Age is a factor too, a 20 year old who is chubbier but has slightly desirable proportions will not age well. Someone in their 40s like that has probably been hot their entire adult life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 09:58 PM
1

That's the thing, for the years my childhood was in I think it was more normal than not. Very standard 80s/90s upbringing for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/21 02:42 PM
2

Some of us started learning decades ago and what we learned then was a bit behind what was actually happening at the time. My parents are 70, what I learned from their generation about dating/finding the one to marry is now 50 year old news even though it was only 30 years ago, so info was already 20 years out of date. Without the internet kids in their early teens don't know what people in their 20s are really doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/21 05:21 AM
12

Assuming they make an effort to take care of themselves I think 40s is when the real differences come out. Many people decline in 30s unless they put in the effort not to. The wall is when nature overcomes your efforts to stay attractive, so exact age will vary and difficulty varies with each gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 07:25 PM
6

This is exactly it, the grass does always seem greener but in this case women are actually getting greener grass while men are not and there seems no plans to change that course in our society. When the balance eventually tips the other way what will be done to fix it? As of now it seems the answer is men are bad so they don't deserve to be equals in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/21 02:51 PM
4

She will move on with him too so maybe you are in the same league as those guys which is a positive.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/21 07:20 PM
7

Ouch
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/21 06:59 PM
2

Who cares if men think that, it doesn't have to effect you unless you let it. Learn the early warning signs so you don't have to deal with those guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 10:58 PM
2

So your claiming to be inherently valuable simply by being born a woman and then proceed to complain about men being lazy and not earning their access? Where do you think we learned that from?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 10:44 PM
-1

Who cares if they are congratulated, that means nothing. According to this Reddit post women are congratulated for existing, doing the bare minimum is something at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 10:18 PM
-1

Hard to leave? Well there is one problem, always keep yourself in a position where it's easy to leave at least until you find out they are not putting on a front.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 10:16 PM
1

Finding one is a whole different issue but having an LTR with one is first early screening out the ones that are "bad", just simple questions about their past relationships/upbringing since history tends to repeat itself. Next is becoming the person good men want to be with, if you find them and they dump you or lose interest then that is obviously a problem as well but at least your one step ahead at that point since finding seems difficult for many.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 10:14 PM
1

It doesn't matter what individual men do anymore because apparently the majority ruined it for the rest of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 09:34 PM

Change your screening process for meeting men then? They are not all like this, there is just a disconnect between the men women date and the good men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/21 09:29 PM

There is two different leagues I suppose. An LTR and hookup one.

Not necessarily mental illness but just some bad experiences with men that made their dating life more toxic. There are some shitty men and it looks like FDS is a big strategy to avoid those guys which makes it painful for any average/HV guy trying to date them. There is a balance between weeding out shitty men and not making it appear like you have a bunch of baggage from past experience with them. Women's attraction is based on a lot more than looks so even staying fit doesn't fix your DB. Im doing better physically now than a lot of my earlier years and sex is less frequent than ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 02:46 PM
3

Yes, so in a LTR if they lose interest in you, you should be worried.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 05:49 AM
3

Yeah but there is the whole other topic that comes up often here about how these same women lose interested in sex when they settle down. Being in a relationship with a woman who loves to fuck is a liability when there is minimal/no fucking.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 04:57 AM
7

It's also hard to say because there are so few examples This is exactly what this type of debate always comes down to, the counterpoints often made by women are exactly that... "so few examples". We are just making generalizations here so if 90% of sluts fit a certain mold that is negative for LTRs then the OP is correct, telling us about the 10% we are wrong about doesn't change anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 04:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 04:57 AM

Did they have real pics? This sounds like a horrible idea, any woman under 40 usually has some single friends who use tinder who would recognize her boyfriend/husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 04:52 AM

Rating honestly sounds like a bad idea because they will most likely keep on seeing each other until there is a negative incident(s) to cause them to leave a bad review. The good reviews will end up being something like "He's a great guy, I highly recommend but he just wasn't my type".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 04:48 AM
1

I've noticed this as well but to be fair moving on is usually the correct advice in most cases. The trivial stuff is usually after a first date which there is no obligation to try further. Obviously people take their options into consideration when doing this since moving on is easier for some than others.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 01:58 AM

I feel like this question is not the same for tall men who answer it. I honestly can't remember if I've ever met a woman taller than me, and can count on one hand the number of times they were the same height or even an inch or two shorter. Its almost like asking "would you date this hypothetical person who may not even exist". Also, unlike short men there isn't a worry she will find someone taller and leave you, sure they exist but are rare and probably have a preference for short women anyway.

Are there women addicted to this? Or are we just comparing a real problem to a non-existent one? Being I wasn't even aware this was a thing, I'd have to know how it effected their relationships. Are they turning down sex from their spouses because they'd rather read a book, and are there like millions of women who do this? Plus with as often as women are not interested in sex with their partners in LTRs can you even blame it on this "addiction"?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/21 04:01 AM

That's the trick to this question, good experience with someone you wouldn't want to see again, not easy.

Maybe your right, but high is relative so going from todays world to this one would be a shock, not if it had always been like this. Plus mens would be higher too. I'd like to be the breadwinner only in the fact that I make so much money my wife wouldn't need to work, I mean who wouldn't want to make that much money? That gives you options being single as well, there is really no downside. The fact that my wife works or not has no bearing on things for the most part unless work is stressing her out to have a negative home life or something.

The meme "The worst that can happen is she says no" is very accurate here. The reality is cold approaches to strangers almost never happens but those are most likely to just be a "no". What is more common is a group of friends or friend of friends and the best case is a "no" means awkwardness whenever you run into each other again + the fact your friends know you got rejected and now any other female in that circle just downgraded you because women want what other women do. Alpha male has nothing to do with looks, they are the people society follow including men who are not even interested in them sexually. These guys you named aren't Chads but they are more Alpha than some random guy who can pick up ladies in his youth before they realize he won't amount to anything later in life. Where is the over-idealizing going on at? I think the general rule is low count is better than high but zero has its own set of problems that many don't want to deal with. It's known when looks are equal but in this case it was a fake profile of a guy who was supposed to get all the matches. In a way I guess he did but it shows the skewed ratio of users. The part that stood out was "Many criticisms about men have centered around the notion that men feel too "entitled" to sex" but that is simply entitled to any sex what so ever, the study is referring to "pleasure" which is different. I think the counter to this argument is there is diminishing returns on a lot of the things women do for self care. Yes they put in a lot of effort but they could easily cut that down 50% or more and get the same results. Add in the men who shower daily and change their shirts the gap is much more narrow and doesn't explain the huge discrepancies in dating. Most other discussions here explain it pretty well though.

His wife looks pretty successful actually. For someone who doesn't need to work she has done a lot and seems ambitious. Not a lawyer but certainly did more than the average person would in the same situation. And to contradict myself, pro athletes are the exception in this discussion. We are talking about successful men and in 99% of cases that means being educated and climbing career ladder or starting a business. Given pro athletes can skip some of that Im not surprised the women most compatab…

What is there to acknowledge? Life is unfair and it must suck to be on the lesser side?

I think it was implied he would have been desirable to most women but for the storyline she chose to go a different way. Kind of contradicts the basic things you hear in this sub but yeah he was basically a Chad that got rejected (although for another poorer one).

I wouldn't say its disrespectful but just being in denial about what they really want or willing to settle which should be a big red flag to themselves that this guy isn't what they really want. Why waste the time at all in that case? Men shouldn't string women along just for sex and women shouldn't do it just for a LTR, not being a woman I will never understand the latter. Q4W: Is this something you actually do? Or are we just generalizing two groups of women as one? Ie the ones that make the b…

I honestly think some of the path to success was lost in their generation as well. Their parents had the double benefit of being raised in a lesser quality of life, hard work ethic and large economic boom to follow. So they planned for the worst and got the best. The boomers were taught the good lessons but didn't necessarily need them to succeed as much. Given the generation of their offspring the original message was lost even further.

Based on this definition more guys can do a similar thing so it's less worth any discussion. Keeping the more extreme example (club scene or whatever) is more interesting.

Well if it's not the norm what side gets the advantage here if there is any bias? Assuming women have so many options the ones resorting to speed dating are surely bottom of the barrel yet they still reject the men more?

Men don't complain about this, it's simply a dating preference which is perfectly fine to have.

The trick there is to condense spending requests to a single exchange for sex then not buy anything for several weeks, repeat.

Honest question.. how is that sort of thing done in a scientific study? Asking people to rate their partners on scale 1-10?

How old are you? The fact that you say "boyfriend" I'm guessing 20s. This topic is mostly about LTRs and how it changes as you get into 30s+.

What's their sex life like though?

Oh and whatever the OP is talking about I think is not that common anyway. In most cases there is a big disconnect from liking travel vs actually doing it, usually because money. Almost not worth discussing in this sub as it doesn't relate to the average person much, even an extreme example of the 80/20 rule. 99 percent of women go for 1% of men who can give them this lifestyle but when that doesn't work out the remaining poorer (in comparison) 20% of men is good enough.

More like a sign of expects wealth in a partner. Actual wealth may vary since it's possible to travel cheap and/or parents paid for most but she's on her own now.

Not 52 different women but at least one or multiple for a given period of time with no dry spell before the next ones. No dry spell + easily moving to the next is the key here, the 4 of 5 men either get very bottom of the barrel women or longer periods without much luck. When they finally do catch a break it can easily turn into a LTR which is no longer casual dating and the 80/20 rule doesn't apply.

It also kind of sucks for men when women post that sort of comment in these posts though. Its like going to subs to talk about finances or lack of and having someone post "I don't see what the problem is, I have plenty of money".

It mostly applies to the casual sex or dating scenes. When married they often just both go without or at least lower frequency. And the 4 of 5 thing it's not necessary zero but closer to zero than enough/frequently. Once or few times a year is essentially zero when compared to once/few weekly.

You are exception then or just need a new partner.

That's kind of the point of this post, you gotta measure the average. So far everyones counter is essentially women can have a higher sex drive if x, y and z requirements happen but that doesn't make up for the lower average.

Yeah but take a guy who has sets his standards as high as these women, he would be just the same when he finally does pair with hot attractive women. The whole point is when this isn't happening the males sex drive turns them to other things rather than going without, thus making it higher. That's like saying everyone has the same food appetite "except women are more picky about what they eat"... Yeah that means the appetite isn't the same.

"all the time" still doesn't mean as much as men do it, regardless of how subtle it is. Everyone has counter example stories to this but it's the exception not the rule.

I still say 8/9s at best. Most women on Instagram with 100k+ followers beat the best pornstars by at least 1 point on the 1-10 scale. When women are naked our minds go dumb so judgement is skewed.
