There was a bit of public outrage because he smashed her face up pretty good, and because she has a vagina. Fort Collins PD had a bad rep for a number of years for similar incidents that probably weren’t as justified as this one. My buddy lives next door to the cop. His cruiser was gone for about three months while they were investigating the incident.
