This is a despicable yet somewhat common occurance, unfortunately. Aside from the RP subs, participation in some others like /r/conspiracy and /r/GoldandBlack can also get you banned from random subs

A madman sees what he sees I wouldn’t recommend putting much energy into trying to understand or think about what you could have done differently. Just be glad it came out now instead of after marriage. Best thing you can do is move forward and keep in mind any red flags that you’ll be able to recognize more easily now

There are probably a lot of jobs in the non profit space where having a poli-sci degree is useful, and hopefully you can find a good org. where you can make a difference!

Based on many of the lawyers I know, one who is my best friend, practicing law absolutely can be soul sucking. Though I think in a large part it depends on your colleagues

Is actual success the only real way to build frame? To your first question.. yes I think so. When you are employed by someone else, most of your day is spent in their frame and so it is easy to naturally adopt that attitude for the rest of your day. If your talents are sufficiently in demand that you can at any time tell your boss to fuck off, because you are not concerned with finding other employment, that is probably sufficient as well. Or say, if I start talking to more girls and gradually g…

I post my collection of art, some made myself but mostly collected. Just gotta post stuff about one of your hobbies.

It's unavoidable to date someone who doesn't post slutty pictures. 90% of them do 10% is far from unavoidable? It certainly narrows one's options, but it also narrows the options in a manner that indicates or suggests a variety of good traits.

You seem to know what is causing your distress, the comparing yourself to these supposedly glamorous lives of others. The more you can cut that stuff out the better. But, without a good sized community that can feel very isolating, because our brain sort of substitutes these impersonal connections for real ones. Do you have a religious congregation, or some sort of community like that? Strive to surround yourself with real people that are like-minded to you and lift you up as you would lift up t…

You really think a bitch that can't decide what to eat This is funny, my ex from college would have the absolute hardest time deciding what to order. She would always need the server to recommend like 4-5 dishes, and then still would just be paralyzed by decision making. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have just ordered for the both of us. That's what she really wanted, I just was young and dumb.

That seems pretty typical. In my experience, for most people their giving and receiving language is different.

Would you mind elaborating on why you want to join the military? Do you truly think the US military is doing good in the world? (assuming you are in US..)

You were a corporate high-flyer and now about to join the military? That's certainly a unique career trajectory! From what I've heard it normally happens in the other order.

Not a bad idea for most. As for me, I post under a public account (this is basically my IRL name, and I've done an AMA). I'm not ashamed of anything I post online and honestly doing so without the guise of anonymity forces me to be more mindful about it my actions because they are on my 'permanent record,' so to speak. Also I can't be 'cancelled' or whatever, (I'm sort of retired) so I don't have to live in fear of that. But yea, for most people, even being active here or in men's rights groups …

I’d also like to add: sleeping with lots of different women isn’t even a path to happiness. There’s no point learning to be a PUA because it’s not a beneficial thing to be. In the short term maybe it feels good but in the long term it’ll lead to sex addiction and/or an insensitivity to your own natural produced chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin. True, sustained happiness comes from within, either via the Buddhist tradition of releasing all want or the Western tradition of satiating all want. …

It’s important to have enough, and its not important to have more than enough. If you find a man you think will provide for rest of your life, go with your gut instinct.

You might want to get some tests done (if you haven't already). If you're eating a surplus and still not gaining, could be hyperthyroidism, or something else.

Then, the bravest men abandon the place and explore other lands. It's time to explore other lands. Curious what you and others think are other fertile lands. For me, it's crypto.

Regarding your fluoride comment.. are you also very careful about the water you drink? There's reasons to believe topical fluoride is no big deal but ingesting through tap water is my main concern.

Just as a warning, be careful about taking molly too frequently. It can have an interesting effect on people though, my friend really came out of his shell last festival when he was on it, and he was making friends left and right which was cool to see.

Depends on the festival. The last 2 that I've been to have ended at or before midnight.

My friend told me something very safe the other day. “People who think they’re good at dancing, are good at dancing.” Just listen to the music that will be playing at the show frequently, beforehand, and have some fun with it in the privacy of your own home.

It sounds like you know exactly what you’d like to fix, could you elaborate maybe on why you haven’t been able to make the changes? Is it a very reflexive / second nature thing at this point?

You assume everyone is playing the same game (biological evolution). Part of being enlightened is deciding which game, or games, to focus on. For example, some people find fulfillment contributing knowledge to society, and teaching younger generations. (cultural evolution) Then again, trying to deny a biological imperative isn’t good for one’s mental health so what am I even saying here 🤷‍♂️

Men are attracted to all of the pretty girls at the party — “polygamy”. This makes sense evolutionarily — men don’t need to be careful with who they mate with, whereas women have limited birthing opportunities so it makes sense for them to be very selective.

I’d caution against thinking about yourself as undesirable as a person of color, it doesn’t sound healthy and in reality it’s about finding the right match.

I don't want to say my age (17-20) o_O Good for you though, I was just razzing. That's awesome to have found something you're good at while still relatively young. Are you going to try and make a career out of it?
/r/TheRedPill15/05/18 12:15 AM

Well I would definitely agree with you on that, but on the other hand HS provides lots of opportunities for natural interaction so you don't really need to cold approach. My point remains though that there are many ways to display status in HS.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/18 11:59 PM

Teenagers have some control over status, there's a lot of applicable stuff in H.S. that will indicate the likelihood you go on to a successful career. For example I was 2nd in my class, 1st seed in chess club, represented my school at coding and math competitions.. granted I didn't pull the cheerleaders or anything but the 'king of the nerds' thing still played out pretty well for me.

Good for you man! I know the struggle. I abused the wrong things for about 9 years and have been clean for 2+ now. What you said is exactly true -- the terrible education around drugs is exactly why MJ is such a potent gateway drug, and is exactly why I'd like to provide some direction to the younger generation around here.

I’ve been working over a post that covers the dangers and benefits of different drugs. A lot of young men are only taught “drugs are bad mkay” and it is really dangerous to go off to college not knowing the differences and how to spot a nascent addiction.

This is a great article, so I'll do my best to cliff notes it for you. Briefly, all absolutist diets (no meat, no grains, etc) are missing the big picture -- you should eat situationally, depending on what your body needs. Here are some examples from my past year to help illustrate: Driving cross country, in a car for 10 hours multiple days in a row? If you have excess fat like myself, it's a good opportunity to fast because you aren't working your muscles much. I pulled off a 48 hr fast on that…

It’s absurd you are getting downvoted for this. Just because most people in the forums here don’t want to start a family, doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing for everybody.

I feel rather lucky that my dad was a natural red pill. Just by absorption I picked some good habits, and by high school firmly had the IDGAF attitude, which is why I didn't care how nerdy other's thought chess club, math club, and computer camp were. Just did what I wanted. It has certainly paid off and is a big part of what made me successful today :)
