There’s a woman who duets these types of videos with actual events where that sort of thing has happened. It’s very sobering and I applauded her for doing the Lord’s work

Someone rescue missioned me and here I am. I wasn’t ready to hear it at the time but I came looking. Beyond thankful for that soul who reached out with her “Nah, sis” attitude.

Oh, I agree 100%! I just find it appalling that I’ve been conditioned into giving any man a chance simply because he’s nice. I’ve since declined the date and blocked him.

If you don’t want to block him so that you have evidence of his abuse, I’d strongly recommend still not engaging or giving a response to it. On most smartphones you can mute a number, so they can still contact you but you won’t get the notification for it. You’ll only see the notification when you open messages. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re in this position and that you’re scared. If it’s possible for you, seek out self defence classes and if you can’t attend one due to Covid restrictions (o…

I haven’t listened to many of their songs, just the popular singles. Do you they any other FDS anthem type of songs??

I found this song in a random gym playlist and I absolutely love it. The first verse is iconic, in my opinion. “Call your momma "mommy" (you gotta not!) Askin' her for money (you gotta not!) Never keep your house clean (you gotta not!) Wearin' dirty laundry (you gotta not!) Is that what you call flirtin'? (you gotta not!) You ain't even workin', boy get a job And baby, when you wanna start growin' up We can boom, boom, boom, baby, fall in love”

Honestly, I’m thankful I did. It’s taught me how to affirm my boundaries, if I want to devote my energy to a situation, and how to end things that shouldn’t continue.

Absolutely! A guy I was in a situationship with this year had me convinced that being best friends with his ex from 5 years ago is normal. I expressed my discomfort with the situation and he straight up confessed that that ex held had sometimes held higher value and importance to him that the woman he was with for 4 years. It made me so uncomfortable but he had me convinced it was okay. Never ignore your gut, ladies. Kick him to the curb the second you realise you’re ignoring your own feelings t…

I posted a semi-nude photo of my weight loss journey in a weight loss sub (from my “public” account) and the amount of scrotes that messaged me made me feel absolutely disgusting. Comments like they need to see my nips, that i’m the right level of thicc, and other nasty things just. Ew. Why men gotta be so gross? On the positive, I’ve met some lovely ladies on a similar journey with similar weight loss goals and bodies to encourage each other.

Legitimately going through this right now and beyond thankful that I’ve found this sub. I’m coming out of a situation that was giving me so much anxiety that I was throwing up and losing weight because of it. Realised I have more worth and he is a LVM.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
