That's a pretty nasty assumption about all men RP is a pretty nasty assumption about all women. If you have a gold digger that is good at hiding her intentions and makes you happy, you'd never know. The obvious gold diggers are shamed and hated. Pumping and dumping is degenerate, most people think so.

A real purple pill view would be like "Well I agree that women are basically children and that they're essentially useless sociopathic whores in general unless they specifically try not to be but I think the way to get them into bed is show my devotion and servitude anyways and see if they come around." Purples should be nearly "sidebar red pill" and not just people who think attraction matters in dating. Okay, you're trying to radicalize what the purple pill is. I disagree. I consider myself pu…

Well in this case, we can argue that the legal/financial incentives would be the barrier that keeps them from using us up as fuck holes. Without it, they would run rampant. Culture? Our culture encourages hooking up.

Every social interaction is made for your own benefit. Even charity makes you feel good about yourself, there is always some incentive. A woman can say that men are sociopaths and only seek them out as fuck holes, adapting to the bare minimum required by a woman, and that if there were no barrier there, would gladly use her up and leave her twisting in the wind. What lack of empathy. This is why AWALT is so facepalm worthy. You can assume AMALT, you can find stories to back it up, you can rack u…

A man of his status did not need to drug women to get them to sleep with him. He could have afforded to pay hookers if he was socially incompetent, which he wasn't. Some people are predators and get off on completely dominating someone. Many rapists don't rape simply because they can't have sex but because they have a sick fascination with the power it gives them. It's similar to certain murderers.

Oh cool, yeah, I've browsed the subreddit before. So you're probably anti-feminism. I have a question for you. There are some parts of feminism that are facepalm worthy (the extreme examples that don't bear mentioning) however as a whole I see it as a movement to encourage women to be prized for more than their sex organs, something TRP discourages. Honestly, I see that as being the big picture of TRP. I was wondering what your perspective on this is since I'm sure you don't see it that way.

Wow that's fucked up. I know a guy who was 18, practically a child, got lied to by a 27 year old FWB about being on BC, she got pregnant, had the child and he ended up having to pay child support when he started working full-time. Were there warning signs of her being capable of that, that or was it just out of the plain blue sky?

What do you think of somebody saying that if you go for women who respond to that, you're going for the wrong kind of girls?

Yeah, but similarly, male douchebags are typically hot too since they can get away with it. I just wanted to illustrate how the two camps are similar.

Thanks for your detailed response, she sounds like a cunt, jesus christ. Since you've been both RP and BP I have a question for you. I think that social dynamics are a real thing and that women will go for the douchebag in the room unless they give way to introspection, and that men will go for the hot bitch, unless they give way to introspection. It's an animalistic thing, wanting to conquer the highest SMV prospect in the room. There are people that don't give way to this tendency though, the …

"things that upset women" there are some exaggerations, but to me objectification is an bi-product of the hatred of women. Reducing an entire gender to a function to fulfill your needs out of spite.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/15 12:30 AM

I don't think we'd ever agree. To me, objectification is a manifestation of hatred of women. Reducing somebody to nothing more than a function they can fulfill for you out of spite.

There are countless reasons a woman can be single at 30. Some even you wouldn't find too bad. Nobody is forcing you to date them though. I agree that everyone should grow a backbone and not give into henpecking and if someone acts like a cunt they should be left, but bitchiness isn't exclusive to older women. I'm not sure what you mean about false pretenses, probably that she "rode the CC" and is playing off being chaste to lock someone down. Personally, I think that it's just sex, and if somebo…

Its misogynistic to justify it saying that it's ok because women don't mind as long as they have your commitment. But they can't cheat because they're the gatekeepers of sex. Here is a post I made about why I think TRP is flawed. There's a lot of biased mixed in with general self-help advice. but that's a different topic entirely.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/15 01:06 AM
1

Well I'm on my phone now, but there is also a logical link between "hatred of women" and "objectification of women" that doesn't need to be spelled out.

But it does nothing for their SMV. We don't desire women because of what comes out of their mouth. We are only concerned about what cums in their mouth. ... Okay. You realize that 95% of men don't see it that way, right? Maybe 90% if I'm generous but generally men do care about attributes other than physical attractiveness. Yes, obviously it's the largest factor, I won't deny that, but it's not the only one. You and your small subset of men see it that way. I can do comedy too. Don't quit your d…

There are places with a short definitions and other with the longer one that includes objectification.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/15 06:36 PM

Why is it wrong to find traits other than physical attractiveness appealing? Some men enjoy a lively debate or a similarity in interest. Now that men no longer solely control the resources, it's not as simple. Attractive women can fuck you over just as much as someone with a big brain can. George clooney was as RP as can be before he married yet he settled on a post wall career woman. He could have had literally anybody he wanted.

ITS LITERALLY THE DEFINITION.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/15 04:56 PM
2

Sure. If everyone acted that way we'd live in a much worse world, which is why it isn't a social norm. Like if I wanted to be the hottest woman on earth and my priority was to kill off all the hotter girls rather than filling someone else's notion of what is an appropriate life goal, wouldn't it be logical for me to do so? You can rationalize anything. As long as you're honest about being misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/15 04:53 PM
1

Well that's the current definition. TRP and Feminism oppose each other so I'm not surprised you disagree. Given that their MO is to literally re-define reality to their personal benefit. Please. This is what TRP does too.

I really didn't think I had to paste something that shows up as the first thing you get when you type 'misogyny' into the search engine but I stand corrected. Misogyny (/mɪˈsɒdʒɪni/) is the hatred or dislike of women or girls. According to feminist theory, misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including sexual discrimination, belittling of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification of women. Misogyny can be found within many mythologies of the ancient world as well as vario…

Well part of the definition of misogyny is sexual objectification. Any occasion where you reduce a woman to a function while disregarding her feelings is. Which is a pair of sentences that probably makes your blood curl. Doesn't mean you hate women. Means you've decided not to invest your time with a specific partner any more, for reasons. Men and women both do this. Yes that's fine, it's a normal part of the decline of a relationship. What I had in mind with "demote to plate" is that you start …

It already is. Demoting a girlfriend to a plate without telling her. Call it whatever you want but you're cheating. Deflecting when someone has feelings for you to get more sex. Just fucking cut them lose. I'll admit this isn't a popular opinion but some guys say physically cheating for men as long as they stay committed to their girlfriend is okay since men are the gatekeepers of commitment and women are the gatekeepers of sex, women cannot though. The hatred for older women. If you don't want …

In that case the sleeping around isn't the problem, it's the laziness. You can find deadbeat men left and right as well. One of most promiscuous girls in my school got the highest paying job after university from everyone I know because she's competent. A persons attitude towards sex isn't life defining anymore. Thinking so is archaic.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/15 11:36 AM

Maybe for you, but you realize that there are some guys that won't date a girl that is pretty unless she fulfills certain criteria that are other than physical and will gladly go for someone a few points lower. Or if a girl that's less pretty than average has those experiences they will consider her more interesting and a better prospect. Maybe it doesn't float your boat but you can't deny that it happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/15 11:29 AM

I don't think it's harassment as much as uncomfortable. For example once I was standing in line for the bus, a man smiled and nodded at me, I returned the greeting, turns out he was a schizophrenic, he wouldn't stop muttering god knows what and I couldn't get away from him for half an hour, I was pretty scared. After that experience I hated being approached. Saying "hi" is fine though. That was just one out-of-the-norm experience.

I remember my first heartbreak. I also thought all men were garbage. I would have ranted about how terrible men are to anybody who would listen. Was it true? No. Was I angry enough not to care? Yes. Did I look back with dismay? Yes.

This is the only reason TRP slut shames: It pushes forward a pro-male agenda. This is long-winded but I have a point. Back in our hunter-gatherer days, and even until recently, the traditional male-female dynamic worked. It was necessary for survival. Maintenance tasks took forever to do: making a meal, washing clothes, raising your children, etc etc. Nowadays that shit takes next to no time. ALL of TRP isn't bad. The advice about getting in shape, setting boundaries, allocating your time wisely, and not being a doormat is fine. It's where it breaks down into suggesting leading a girl with feelings on to get laid and about demonizing a gender. There are terrible men, and there are terrible women. Atrocity is not gender specific.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 04:42 PM

The only thing I disagree with in that point is that you (or not you, but part of your sub) say "nice guys are spun as orbiters, so we can spin sluts as plates, it's only fair, see?" If you want to spin plates, just say "we want to spin plates, we want casual sex." The big picture of what I have an issue with is not that you guys want to get laid, it's that you try to justify it by dumping all women in the same category and labeling them evil. That's the point I was trying to make. It's as if I …

You guys are just clinging onto a notion that is convenient for you. "If women fuck multiple men, they are ruined (we feel inadequate) but if we fuck multiple women, we are only empowered (except that you're just as ruined, one woman will never match up to the harem you once had and just like the alpha widow will resent you for not being the best she had, your partner will be getting the short end of the stick since you likely resent her as well. Saying otherwise is is nothing other than a bias.…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/15 09:40 AM

My point was that men are ruined by these experiences in the same way girls you claim to be alpha widows are. Women can look at such a man and go "eh, damaged goods." In the exact way your sub does. It's not reserved solely for the males. If somebody is constantly used to getting obeyed, they won't develop into a pleasant person. In fact you blame this exact behavior on what makes women behave like entitled princesses.

I'm just saying the tenets in my original post are parts of TRP I find irrational. I didn't comment on society at large or TRP in general. Just those points. You disagree with one, fine, it was the weakest of the bunch anyway. I also think the metaphor is a poor attempt to justify poor behavior. The rest though, I didn't see you convincingly critique.

Well I'm not attacking the healthy aspects of TRP, those are fine. Trying to get laid at higher rates, improving yourself, eliminating self-hatred, and having a male space is good. I'm glad you and men like you are taking charge in those areas and you don't sound like someone who is taking it too far. I have nothing against the female and male strategy being opposed, this is true, it has to be. I'm just saying that some aspects of it are gone too far, hate-backed and used as a justification to a…

So you hate women because you or average men cannot get laid. That's all I'm getting. There are a ton of reasons why someone nearing 30 could be single though. They used to be fat, they focused on other things, they just moved, their long term BF didn't want to get engaged, their long term BF cheated on them etc. As I said, many guys wait to settle down too. I mean women who repeatedly sleep with guys who won't commit to them are destined to be miserable. Guys who used to have a harem and now ho…

Yeah but men wait until they're older to settle down as well. Or at least are encouraged to. In TRP many men are encouraged to use their early 20s to fuck around and only get serious in their late 20s/eary 30s essentially doing the same thing. I mean it happens often enough that a guy is just looking to screw around in a phase of his life, and when you don't give into it, he'll come back ready to commit after he's had his fun. That and a lot of average guys go for extremely good looking women th…

It was a revenge fantasy told from the POV of a woman much like the other is equally ridiculous. Yes, after he becomes successful, Bobby will have all the women who have ever rejected him be single and pining at his feet. LOL. Okay. I'm sure he wishes that as well but it will likely never happen. Just like the fact that you think you can get a young woman at any time. Well I have mentioned that TRP is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you do have a girl that responds to being treated nicely only, you'll miss her because she won't respond to your dominance and apparently that's a sign of disinterest. Waiting hand and foot on somebody freaks them out. It depends on how it's done but imagine if a girl did that right from the get-go. It's clingy and off putting, you need some time to get to know her before the attachment takes its course. I think this is where men m…

In my opinion that strategy wouldn't fix anything but only mess things up further, maybe it would keep the guy in control because a woman who puts up with that sounds impressionable. And thanks, you seem pretty smart too despite the fact that I disagree with you. But in terms of evolution, yeah I totally agree. That's exactly why men want to spread their seed and women aren't as cavalier about it. When it was down to survival of the fittest it made sense that women would want to reproduce with t…

I think that people making power tripping over others a priority fucks up their ability to bond. That's why I think it's unhealthy. I don't agree with TRP because I don't see a logical basis for it. I don't care if people have sex left and right, I'm just saying that you have terrible attitudes towards the entire thing. Well I think it's an unhealthy mindset to be in. The woman that wants the high SMV man and the guy that wants a harem, are they chasing their future happiness or looking to fulfill their biological imperative and ego? Biology doesn't want you to be happy. It wants you to reproduce. It's tricking you. This one's easy. A woman is expected to put out in three dates for a high SMV man. If a woman is dating Brad Pitt she's not going to make him wait weeks to have sex, but she might make some scrub wait a bit longer. A woman with a high n count either A) somehow got a ton of high-SMV men to sleep with her (unlikely, and if she did and none of them wanted to LTR her that's a red flag) or B) slept with a ton of low-SMV men (red flag). What does the difficulty of something have to do with the right of people to enjoy it? It's been in highly upvoted posts and used as an analogy widely. If an analogy doesn't hold up the point is moot. When the point is moot, it means TRP got something wrong.

Ah, the bias you've just exhibited is The Bias Blind-spot :p All jokes aside, I'm sure it's useful, I just think that TRP is mixed with good advice (work out, develop hobbies, be the best person you can, respect yourself, don't be clingy as shit) and terrible advice (women are the devil etc, treat them like shit etc) and that leads people to think "hey, they do like being treated poorly!" When they are just responding to your improvements in other areas.

Well in your analogies you say nice guy = slut therefore when a girl acts like a guys personal slut isn't it fair that the girl should get her personal nice guy? Men are conquerors, maybe they get bored of a girl that acts like his personal slut because he feels that there is nothing else to conquer, just like the girls get bored of nice guys because there is nothing else to conquer. I don't believe this I'm simply applying the analogy to the end.

It's still super safe for women to have kids in their late 20s and early 30s. No need for an extreme example, when it comes to your future you should never leave it in the hands of somebody else. Like I said, it's better for the child to have parents that can both make an income. It's better for the mother and even the father.

But according to TRP men are wired to want to spread their genes. He's married so he can't. He has a 10, but his biological instinct is kicking him in the nuts to spread himself around. According to TRP women are wired to want a high SMV man thanks to hypergamy so similarly the womens instincts are kicking her in the ovaries to go find one. They both had these instincts fulfilled in the past so it leaves them wanting. I only see a similarity.

TRP made the analogy to justify plate spinning. I'm saying I disagree with it for exactly those reasons. But if I wanted to take it 1 step further I could say "Yeah and women say they want nice guys, maybe both sides don't know what they want." That's more than just gender though. Society doesn't allow us to make fun of people of color either.

Let me try another example. Let's say you have a large group of people who believe that global warming isn't real. These people will clash with those who do think it's real when it comes to actions to take. One has evidence, the other doesn't. How stupid will the deniers look when upon being banned from discussions they say "so you believe people need to be protected from ideas you don't like?"

That's not exactly what I mean though. A women that rode the CC has obviously had the opportunity to fuck high SMV men and have great experiences that the lower SMV man who settles for her will never be able to give her and this will cause resentment. This is what is described as an alpha widow. If you have a man who used to have a harem of hot women and then decides to marry, he also had experiences his wife won't be able to give him, won't he resent her as well? Is he not as fucked as an "alph…

Let's say I said "People who have a beauty mark on their face are terrible people." I make this known to the world. Someone provides me with evidence against it, and I refute it with "Shit. Why do you care?" They wouldn't unless I was in a position to influence minds and start constructing a reality for others where this was true.

Women and men are different, but you cannot just throw that around to justify things that don't add up like you just did. They are different, but TRP is not scientific. Maybe you have studies backing up certain things. but as a whole it's more of a philosophy. They are not completely alien either, and context has a lot to do with it. Anyways, maybe the "nice guy" and "slut" analogy isn't something everyone shares. I've only brought it up because I've seen it a lot in the sub (I've spent like a y…

They also say that you should spin multiple plates and pick the best one out of the litter for a LTR. I guess that was what I was basing that point on. Ah yeah, it seems so.

I have no problem with men discussing strategies or getting laid. None. I'm just saying that many of the justifications don't stand up to scrutiny. If TRP was only about improving yourself and picking up more women I'd be all for it. Men talking about themselves, their interests and problems seems great.

In TRP they say that women want orbiters and men want sex. If a woman easily gives up sex, she is a slut and thus doesn't deserve respect. If a man easily gives up his time and becomes an orbiter, he is a "nice guy" and doesn't deserve respect either. Nice guys = Sluts Sexual Assholes and Emotional Sluts I definitely don't think that women can do no wrong, in fact the worst person I know is a woman. I just have a problem with the things posted above, there is a lot of constructive advice in TRP …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
