I get what your saying, and I don't disagree, but that title is cringeworthy. Don't tell me why I'm here and stop treating this like a cult.

Stuff like this is what makes trp look like a joke to the rest of the world. You know what red pill is? It's doing what you want. I like video games. If you have an addictive personality and can't play a game without getting sucked into it to the point where it ruins your life, that's your problem. I'm not gonna let anyone dictate my hobbies.

-Twilght and hunger games representative of all fiction- Sorry, I just don't buy it. Books are good, fiction is good, literature is important, and I weep for anyone who thinks nothing can be gained from it.

Can someone explain the "read non fiction more than fiction" thing? Been following this subreddit for a while and that is the one part of all of this that strikes me as completely nonsensical. I can read whatever the hell I want.

Not really, trust me I'm doing fine. All I stated was that the life this guy describes in no way sounds like a fulfilling one. He flat out says as much: "Sometimes I hate knowing it, sometimes I wish I had taken the blue pill, and never went down the rabbit hole, because now there's really no going back." Give me a break, these are the words of someone not at peace with himself. They are also the words of someone who doesn't really get it. Pro tip: If reading up on red pill philosophy turns you …

Honest question, does anyone here really want to be like this guy? Assuming he's not bullshitting, the life he describes sounds like that of an empty, sad, loser. A loser who gets laid a lot sure, but a loser nonetheless. This guy doesn't sound happy. He doesn't even sound all that red pill, more like someone in the early bitter stage, who read a bunch of game theory and became a sleazy pick up artist with no real personality and no ability to connect with a female in any real way.

These commenters are overreacting. It is correct to want what you want. Don't live your life based on the red pill, or any one philosophy for that matter. The stuff on this reddit is good to internalize, which you have. It has let you become a better man, with more successful relationships. You don't need to stick around and keep pounding it into your head. You're done, you've graduated. Now you can use what you've learned in your real life, without feeling the need to come here every day and le…

All women are red pill, they just don't know it yet. Meet a girl, be red pill, make her love you. She is now a red pill woman.

The true red pill is when you stop needing to come here. There is truth and good advice in this subreddit but at the end of the day it's just another goofy little echo chamber. This subreddit will always be a place for beginners. Once you've internalized what you need to, you're better off not letting it take up your time.

I feel like that started off with a strong point, and then descended into the kind of weird worst case scenario fan fiction that MRAs and redpills get made fun of for.

Yep, everyone who doesn't agree with you is a troll. Please continue proving my point by ignoring everything I say so you can continue to be emotional and angry about something silly and meaningless while seeking only validation and pats on the back.

Relax. I'm just offering a male perspective. There are more than a few reasons a man would say to a woman "I don't care how much you weigh". It does not automatically mean they're blue pill, or beta, or that they have a low SMV or whatever. You're thinking too hard about a harmless statement, and it would be a mistake to let it pepper your opinion of a man who says it. I guarantee a man with a high SMV would not have the patience to deal with a woman who over analyzes a meaningless platitude and…

"If I get fat, I want my SO to leave/threaten to leave me. If he doesn't, I'll leave him! If he doesn't, obviously his SMV is lost at the bottom of Mariana's Trench somewhere." I don't think you're as red pilled as you think you are. If you were, it would be enough that you demand greatness of yourself, but you're still so insecure that you need him to reassure you of his demand for it. I assure you, if you got fat enough, any man would most likely leave you. A man telling you it doesn't matter …

Or you know, it could be that he actually doesn't care how much you weigh. Don't get me wrong, I find fat women repulsive. But I'm shallow, other's are less so, especially if they're in love. This post is an example of something women do that men hate. Over analyzing innocent statements to an insane degree and becoming psychotically pissed off for no reason. If you're feeling like a fat ass, and you come crying about it to your boyfriend, and he responds with "I don't care how much you weigh" it…

Playing Devil's advocate here, what were the cops supposed to do, arrest a corpse?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
