I would eliminate the 40 and just go with 100 - feminists have been campaigning for rights since before 1900 (when the feminist train really started to gain traction for women's suffrage). I myself just noticed that most restaurants have signs in the men's room stating that drinking alcohol while pregnant can harm the baby. Nice to know we're looking out for each other.

Unless there's a law stating otherwise, it's perfectly legal for any private institution to implement such policies.. That's why you can protest on government property all you want but can get thrown off private property for doing the same thing.

I can see what you mean, but it implies that only a male is subject to abusing their partner later in life. Thus, it allows the observer to believe that the former abuser was also male.

I had to post this somewhere. Does anyone else feel as if MR is starting to be more... aggressive? It feels like we keep attacking feminists (society in general) a whole bunch more than the average troll. I really don't think this is what we should be doing as MRAs.

To anyone who judges books by their covers, try to avoid doing that with this particular piece. This was a well thought out piece that may surprise you when you read it. I at first thought it was going to be an accusatory account by Mrs. Fisher, and what we as MRAs were going to do about it. I was totally wrong. I would read this if you are browsing this subreddit (whether you are here to contribute or counter contribute).

Because of its origin, I cannot fully support what the author stated as fact. HOWEVER, were I to, I would suggest writing a letter to the school board, the media, and the police. Not sure what the police would do, but you could get the class in trouble, the AP and teacher fired, and the school fined for oppressing freedom of speech (or rather, punishing one for it).
